We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Chris Sale FD 11800 DK 13100 Opponent - TB (Snell) Park - @BOSFD - 48.99 DK - 32.52 The Red Sox will send Chris Sale to the mound for today's game with the Rays. Perhaps you've heard of him? Sale has had an extremely successful start to the 2017 season, rocking the best SIERA in the majors through the first month and change (2.20) and his 12.72 K/9 is the second best behind Danny Salazar. The Rays meanwhile are about as averge at the plate as you'll find against left handed pitchers, with a .308 wOBA and a 97 wRC+, but when it comes to the money shot, we find they strike out a whopping 26.7% of the time against southpaws, more than any team in baseball. That right there, along with Boston being nearly a 2 run favorite for the win against Blake Snell tells us all we need to know. Sure, Sale is going to eat up a hefty amount of your salary on both sites, but the returns should more than make up for it as the projection system sees him as the raw points total leader on the day and among the top point per dollar plays. Luis Severino FD 9100 DK 9100 Opponent - HOU (Fiers) Park - @NYYFD - 31.85 DK - 21.01 So you say you just can't spend up for Sale at the starting pitcher spot? Then let me introduce you to Luis Severino. For less than 10K you get a right handed arm that has been excellent to start the season, striking out 10.21 batters per 9 while maintaining a 3.40 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 45/7 K/BB ratio through 39.2 innings. The match up isn't quite as favorable though as the Astros only strike out 18.3% of the time against right handed pitching and are rocking a .347 team wOBA against the split, the fourth best in the majors. For safety purposes I'll stick with Sale in cash games, but Severino will definitely get some tournament love with the potential upsdie, and allowance for some better bats. Trevor Cahill FD 8100 DK 9300 Opponent - CHW (Covey) Park - @CHWFD - 29.2 DK - 19.5 There's not a whole lot to be excited about...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Clayton Kershaw FD 9800 DK 11300 Opponent - COL (Chatwood) Park - @COL FD - 38.12 DK - 25.14 Even with the best pitcher in baseball, Coors Field is a huge red flag. However, this is Clayton Kershaw we're talking about. He's also priced down on a day without many great pitching options. Kershaw has been up and down in Coors Field over his career but has gone at least 5 2/3 in every game and seems to strikeout at least 8 every appearance.  At home (Coors Field), the Rockies hold the 6th highest wOBA in baseball and the 8th highest K rate against lefties. While the 6th best offense may be one we usually want to avoid, the Rockies should have the number 1 offense in the league by far playing at Coors Field. This isn't a great lineup against lefties as they end up relying on the power of Nolan Arenado and Mark Reynolds with Story on the DL. You all know how great Clayton Kershaw is so I'm not going to stuff the same stats down your throat every 5 days. He makes adjustments like no other pitcher and if anyone will be able to dominate in Coors Field, it's him. He makes sense in all formats and with his price down, you won't be forced to spend down elsewhere. With all of that being said, Kershaw is not the clear top option of the night. With Coors Field being such a hitters haven, there is definite merit in paying down. Let's take a look at a few options. Johnny Cueto FD 9700 DK 12600 Opponent - CIN (Feldman) Park - @SF FD - 32.84 DK - 21.69 There are 2 big turn-offs to rostering pitchers against the Reds. 1, Jose Peraza and Billy Hamilton are menaces on the basepaths. they can single-handedly blow up a start and make the pitcher get in his own head. 2nd is Great American Ballpark. Fortunately, they play in AT&T Park tonight, one of the most spacious ballparks in all of the league. They also face Johnny Cueto, who is easily the best pitcher in baseball at holding runners. He has a multitude of different pickoff moves and may be one of only a...

We've got you completely covered.   Pitcher Early Yikes. If you're looking for an elite arm or two to pair with some safe bats, move on to the late slate. On this early slate, our top options consist of Joe Musgrove, Andrew Triggs, and Jesse Chavez. First of all, I'm really not endorsing any of these guys. On a normal slate, none of them are in play. At all. We have to take what we can get here and all 3 of these guys have the upside to get it done. Starting with the most expensive option, Andrew Triggs has had some quality games this season. Triggs has held a .278 wOBA in over 80 innings of work since last season, so maybe there is something to this guy. The Angels could also be without Mike Trout, who has missed a few games with a hamstring issue. If Trout is out, Triggs moves into my top cash games play on this early slate, which is currently held by Joe Musgrove. While Musgrove hasn't been great to start the season, he should see his K/9 rate go up and his wOBA go down as the season progresses. He's getting a bit unlucky and I think this is a guy who will be a quality starter for a long time. He faces off with the Braves, who are a very weird match-up, especially this season. Freddie Freeman is obviously dangerous, but outside of him, nobody at all stands out. The bottom of the order is absolutely pitiful and Musgrove should be able to grab a few strikeouts each time around. While he's far from safe, he's the biggest favorite on the slate and is priced very fairly. Jesse Chavez and Tommy Milone are two other cheap options who may deserve some consideration. Milone is a home favorite against a struggling Giants lineup. Chavez faces one of the more inept offenses in baseball in one of the most spacious parks around. if he's going to have a good game, this should be it. If you want to get crazy, Kyle Kendricks is the most talented pitcher on this slate, easily. We have seen plenty of quality games in Coors Field and I don't hate going there in tournaments with such low ownership....

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Lance McCullers FD 8500 DK 11400 Opponent - LAA (Ramirez) Park - @LAAFD - 32.37 DK - 21.33 With news coming late last night that Clayton Kershaw would be starting a day ahead of schedule for the Dodgers, that narrowed down our cash game options to one. For tonight's mains slate, Kershaw is the play in cash. In tournaments though, if you want to shake things up, Lance McCullers is a great place to start, particularly on FanDuel where that 8.5K price tag just screams upside. The 23 year old right hander will take the hill tonight against the Angels. The Angels have not been the potent powerhouse we would expect with names like Trout, Calhoun and Pujols. They're rocking one of the worst team wOBAs in baseball, at .296 which dips to .293 against right handed arms. They only have 28 combined home runs, though 24 of them have come against right handed pitchers. McCullers, who is 2-1 through six starts will bring his 11.72 K/9 to the mound. McCullers is having a better season than his 4.08 ERA would suggest. If we look deeper we see a 2.75 SIERA and a 1.3 WHIP. The wind will be blowing out to right center at a relatively strong 12mph but that's not too concerning given the matchup. Vincent Velasquez FD 7400 DK 8100 Opponent - WSH (Turner) Park - @PHIFD - 29.13 DK - 19.39 This one's a little riskier but could pay off at the end of the night. Vince Velasquez and the Phillies host the Nationals in Citizens Bank Park tonight for game two of the series. The Nationals easily won last night, teeing off on Rookie Nick Pivetta with even Stephen Strasburg getting in on the long ball action, and the Phillies pitching staff as a whole has allowed more home runs than any team in baseball this season. Velasquez will have a hard road ahead of him tonight, but it will get that much easier if Bryce Harper is kept out of the lineup again with a groin strain. Washington sports the best team wOBA...

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 5/6/17

We've got you completely covered. Coors Field Let's just get the obvious out of the way. The Rockies host the Diamondbacks in Coors Field tonight and both teams are forecasted for the top two run totals on the night (Colorado at 6.1, Arizona at 5.5) and as is always the case with a Coors weekend both are in consideration for tournament stacking, either separately, or as a whole game stack. Both teams send southpaws to the hill tonight, Patrick Corbin for the DBacks, is 2-3 through 6 starts this season walking 2.8 batters per 9 and he's allowing a .326 wOBA against right handed hitters. This is good news for the righty heavy lineup the Rockies will sens to the plate, featuring the likes of DJ LeMahieu, Nolan Arenado, Mark Reynolds and Trevor Story. Charlie Blackmon hits from the other side of the plate, but lead off in Coors can't be ignored simply due to handedness. On the other side we have Tyler Anderson Colorado'l left handed arm and we know that means big things for the Diamondbacks and Paul Goldschmidt who crush left handed pitchers. Anderson's off to a tough start to his 2017 campaign with a 1-3 record through 6 starts this season allowing 2.67 HR/9 and a .411 wOBA against right handed bats. 6 of his 9 home runs allowed have come from the right side of the plate which is good news for not just GOldy, but A.J. Pollock, Chris Owings, and Yasmany Thomas. Jeremy Lamb is also in play in the cleanup spot. Vegas, is giving the edge to the Rockies here, but I'm liking Arizona more and more Baltimore Orioles If you read the picks article, you know the system loves the Orioles tonight, and I am equally enamored. The Orioles have the highest implied run total outside of Coors at 5.5 and have the pleasure of going up tonight against Dylan Covey. The rookie right hander is 0-2 through 4 starts and his nubers have been anything but impressive. he's only striking out 3.43 batters per nine, but is walking 4.29 per. He's sporting a 7.29 ERA...
