We've got you completely covered.   Boston Red Sox @ Houston Astros Pitchers Drew Pomeranz FD 8200 DK 6500 Opponent - HOU (Keuchel) Park - @HOU FD - 27.95 DK - 18.69 We finally have a good sized DFS slate for the playoffs, so it'll be interesting to see how ownership turns out. This game between the Red Sox and Astros should be a great one. The  Red Sox are healthy +163 underdogs in what Vegas expects to be the highest scoring game of the day at 8.5. The Astros are expected to put up well over 4 runs and I can't in good conscious recommend Pomeranz here. He's, of course, a good pitcher, and he can have a solid game. He's struck out over a batter per inning and has posted a season-long .321 wOBA, struggling against righties. I just don't want anything to do with the Astros offense and a guy that will get pulled quickly. Remember to keep in mind that some teams will or have to go to the bullpen before others. Pomeranz likely has a 1 or 2 run leash here, which I don't think makes it into the 6th inning. The Astros lineup gave Chris Sale a taste last night and I wouldn't be surprised to wake up here either. Pomeranz is an interesting flier for some K's at very low-owned, but I won't be on that train. Dallas Keuchel FD 9000 DK 8900 Opponent - BOS (Pomeranz) Park - @HOU FD - 30.93 DK - 20.37 I really don't like either of these guys very much in any format, but Keuchel is preferred to Pomeranz. The Astros are solid favorites and the 'Stros should let Keuchel go if they have a lead (likely). Keuchel has been dominant all season long, tossing 145 innings with a .255 wOBA against. He's striking out just 7.22 batters per 9 innings, but it comes with just 2 walks. He's also been far better at home in Minute Maid, which is a lot better for pitchers than people like to admit. The Red Sox offense is obviously lethal, but this is the playoffs, so all offenses are going to have upside. They are an average playoff offense, though the numbers against lefties aren't nearly as good (.309...

We've got you completely covered. Colorado Rockies @ Arizona Diamondbacks Pitchers Zack Greinke FD 9500 DK 8800 Opponent - COL (Gray) Park - @ARI FD - 38.37 DK - 20.4 We covered this game yesterday, but that was with the Yankees/Twins Wild Card game in thoughts. We now have 2 very different games on the slate, so we have to look at this game with a different scope. Greinke is definitely interesting, but I like a couple guys more. This game is still in Chase Field and the over/under is probably going to hit 9 before it's said and done. The D-Backs are decent favorites at -165 and have only gone up, which is a good sign. Greinke is still an elite guy with a 9.5 K/9 and a .282 combined wOBA. This Rockies order is pretty good, but this is playoff time. Every offense is capable. They are probably the weakest offense on the slate and I understand attacking them. I just think Chris Sale is in a spot that I'm not willing to pass up in cash games. All in all, Greinke could easily walk away as the highest-scoring arm on the slate, but he could also get shelled and have this turn into a classic Chase Field game. Jon Gray FD 8600 DK 7700 Opponent - ARI (Greinke) Park - @ARI FD - 27.44 DK - 14.02 Gray is talented and all, but the Diamondbacks are insane at home and I don't think Gray has a leash longer than a run or two. Especially if Greinke is cruising. He has been impressive in Coors Field with a .311 wOBA, but I'm not sure how much that matters in this spot. He's inexperienced, young, and in a spot that will surely give him butterflies. While it's tough to quantify that, we saw it last night with Severino. This is also a 1-game series, so these guys will have a shorter leash than the next 4. Gray is a guy I have absolutely no interest in. Both of these guys drew a lot more interest in yesterday's 2-game slate. Bats Though we don't have a total in the Yankees game, it's looking like this one is expected to be the highest scoring. Sitting at 8.5...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 10/1/17

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 10/1/17 All right, here's the thing: this is the last day of the MLB season and if you are around for the last dying breath then you are a hardcore lifer that wants this s@#$ come hell or high water. Combine that with an NFL Sunday and if you're playing MLB last Sunday then you are a true hero of the highest order. We are going to roll through some of the plays on the super quick, but this might be the loneliest Sunday of them all in the MLB DFS world. Pitcher Johnny Cueto FD 8400 DK 9300 Opponent - SD (Perdomo) Park - @SF FD - 34.09 DK - 22.44 We are looking for pitchers whose teams don't give a crap and are in solid matchups. Cueto fits that bill. The Giants are going nowhere and he faces the Padres. They've sucked all season long with a K rate the second highest in the league and a team OPS v rhp ranking second to last. They stink. Cueto isn't exactly lighting the world on fire, but he's striking out 8.5/9 and hucking in one of the best pitcher's parks in the league. He's a slight (-135) favorite and coming cheap. We likely want to avoid the playoff arms who could be on pitch limits here making Cueto a solid play. Without Vegas lines in at the time of post, here are some other pitchers you can consider with a couple of notes. Jordan Montgomery FD 6500 DK 7500 Opponent - TOR (Anderson) Park - @NYY FD - 28.88 DK - 19.08 The Jays have been fielding some garbage lineups after the 4-hole and Mont has posted solid peripherals. Nick Pivetta FD 6700 DK 6900 Opponent - NYM (Syndergaard) Park - @PHI FD - 28.18 DK - 18.73 I looooovvvvvveeeeee, the K rate and he's run bad on BABIP and LOB% this season. He's a candidate to finish as one of the best pitching performances on the day considering the Mets' lineup and if you were going to roster a GPP upside arm on the slate, this would be the one. Josh Tomlin FD 6700 DK 7100 Opponent - CHW (Volstad) Park - @CLE FD - 29.58 DK - 19.53 I suppose...

We've got you completely covered. TEXAS RANGERS If you did yourself a favor and read the main picks article, you know we're big fans of Texas. Daniel Gossett is one of the worst starters in baseball and he'll be traveling from the spacious O.Co Coliseum to the bam box in Arlington. The Rangers are expected to put up over 5.5 runs and I think they get there. As a righty, Gossett has found a way to allow respective .366 and .378 wOBA's. He's also given up 20 homers in just over 80 innings. No matter how you slice it, Gossett is a pitcher who should still be working on things in the minors. The Rangers are a lethal lineup and rank 7th in baseball against righties at home. Nomar Mazara, Joey Gallo, Adrian Beltre, and Elvis Andrus are my favorite 4. After them, look for anyone in the top of the order. THey have a ton of guys who can do damage and I have no problem looking towards the bottom of the order in a large-field tourney. MINNESOTA TWINS Buck Farmer is better than Daniell Gossett, but not by much. He has posted a .392 wOBA against lefties and a .345 against righties. He also has an HR issue with 9 in 40 innings. He faces off against a Twins team that is just getting the monstrous Miguel Sano back. Sano brings a lot more depth to this lineup and allows a few more guys to see pitches in the zone. Eddie Rosario, Jorge Polanco, and Max Kepler are the big lefties to attack with. Brian Dozier and Sano are the only righties I'll have exposure to, but Buxton is perfectly fine. All in all, this Twins team should put up some runs and you generally know where they will come from. I certainly like the Rangers more in that ballpark, but so will others. I expect the Twins to come in pretty low-owned. GRAB A FREE TRIAL OF OUR PROJECTION SYSTEM, AND CHECK OUT DFSR PRO! START FREE TRIAL NOW! GET OUR FREE EBOOK ON DAILY FANTASY MLB and NBA...

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Corey Kluber FD 12400 DK 13300 Opponent - CHW (Fulmer) Park - @CLEFD - 42.23 DK - 27.93 160 down and just two to go. It's been a fun and exciting season of MLB here at DFSR and as we make our way through the final weekend of the regular season, we need to really drill down to who has something to fight for and who is just phoning it in. Despite 100 wins and one hell of a win streak under their belt, the Indians still have something to fight for. They have a one game lead over Houston for the top record in the American League and if they want that home field advantage they will need to pick up these final few W's. As I write this, both teams are winning their respective Friday night games. Cleveland will counter with Corey Kluber tonight as the Indians close out this final series of the year at home against the White Sox. Chicago doesn't really present much of a challenge for the Indians ace, as they rank in the bottom third of baseball with a .315 team wOBA and they strike out at a 22.9% clip, which is eighth most in the game. Sure, Kluber is going to cost you a hefty chunk of change, but what do you expect with a .642 win percentage and 11.87 K/9. With expanded rosters and resting players, there should be plenty of value bats popping up through the day, so the price on CK shouldn't be a dealbreaker when considering the implied safety that comes along with it. Max Scherzer FD 10900 DK 12500 Opponent - PIT (Taillon) Park - @WSHFD - 46.64 DK - 30.82 Max Scherzer is a little cheaper, and if I had to consider both at these prices in mid July, I would most likely give the edge to Mad Max, but here we are at the final start of the season and the Nationals have little to play for right now. He was pulled after only 87 pitches in his last start against the Mets, though he dominated them through six innings allowing just three hits and one earned run, while striking out ten. He gets another prime...
