We've got you completely covered. Baltimore Orioles The Orioles may not have a 6 run total like the Red Sox or Rockies, but they are expected to put up some runs. Facing off with Anibal Sanchez, i'd hope so. Sanchez has been bad against both sides of the plate and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. With a .396 combined wOBA, you can target any of these bats. Manny Machado and Chris are obviously the 2 big ones, with Schoop and Trumbo closely behind. Anibal Sanchez is winding down his career and we may not see many starts after this one. Let's take advantage and capitalize on his meatball pitching. I also don't think the Os will be too popular, which always plays into tournament stacks. You don't want to be moving up the field with 30% of entrants, unless you have something to differentiate yourself. Main Stack - Manny Machado, Chris Davis, Welington Castillo, Jonathan Schoop Sneaky Stack - Jonathan Schoop, Manny Machado, Trey Mancini, Seth Smith Boston Red Sox Yep, you knew we would get here. The Red Sox are undoubtedly one of the top teams on this slate and it's fully backed up by a 6.5 Vegas line. They expect the Sox to destroy Mike Pelfrey and I can't say I disagree. Pelfrey isn't as bad as Shields against righties, but he's far worse against lefties. He's allowed a .422 wOBA and like Sanchez, absolutely no sign of improvement. This Red Sox order is very spread out and I can see myself going anywhere in a tournament. Andrew Benintendi and Rafael Devers are my 2 favorites, with Bogaerts and Betts following closely. With the Sox projected to put up over 6 runs, they should and will be popular. Don't be afraid to go off the board with a stack. Main Stack - Mookie Betts, Rafael Devers, Andrew Benintendi, Xander Bogaerts Sneaky Stack - Rafael Devers, Andrew benintendi, Jackie Bradley Jr., Mitch Moreland Try out InGame Fantasy for a totally new DFS experience. Pitchers Hyun-Jin Ryu FD 7200 DK 9300 Opponent - NYM (Matz) Park - @NYMFD - 30.52 DK - 20.19 We touched on Lester and Archer in the main picks article and they both remain stellar options at the top of the board. In this one, we'll take a look at two arms who deserve some attention in tournaments. Starting with Hyun-Jin Ryu and the Dodgers, who hold a -178 line over the Mets. Ryu hasn't been the best he's ever been this year, but he's been very solid. His numbers against lefties are held down by a .394 BABIP and that will Be over very soon. He strikes out around 8 per 9 and does a great job of limiting the big inning. Ryu isn't very safe in any format, but he's cheap enough and has the upside against the Mets. The Mets are a left-handed heavy lineup who strike out a lot and hit homers. Ryu won't have a clean slate, but could get close. He's a great play in tournaments and can be considered in low-end cash games as well Jameson Taillon FD 7300 DK 8000 Opponent - SD (Richard) Park - @PITFD - 34.42 DK - 22.63 Jameson Taillon is the ultimate tournament play tonight. After getting obliterated in each of his last 2 starts, nobody will be on him. Taillon is still one of the top prospects in baseball and there's a high chance he ends up a strong ace or 2. We will look back at these 2 games as hiccups, not the regular. He's going to start fgutring things out again and I wouldnt' be surprised to see it here against the Padres. He's been great against righties and struggled a bit to lefties. As expected. The Padres are obviously one of the best matchups in all of baseball. We saw Gerrit Cole be popular last night and he ended up having a fine game for cash. Taillon is going to be about 5% owned here and could easily have a huge GPP performance. We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Chris Archer FD 10600 DK 11300 Opponent - MIL (Nelson) Park - @TB FD - 39.9 DK - 26.33 While we do have some big names on this slate, pitching is still a bit suspect. The good arms are in somewhat tough matchups and the ballparks aren't great. The one guy who stands out is Chris Archer. Archer and the Rays host the Brewers in pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field. We know how bad the Brewers are against righties. While a lot of the numbers are inflated by some crazy hitting in the first couple months, they still hold just a .324 wOBA. They also strikeout at an insane 25.5% rate, which is leading the league. Archer fits the mold perfectly to face these guys, as a K-heavy arm that relies on free swingers. He strikes out over 11 batters per 9 innings and has sported a .301 combined wOBA, he pitches better at home and has CGSO upside. Archer is the top option on the slate in both cash games and tournaments. Jon Lester FD 9500 DK 10200 Opponent - WSH (Fedde) Park - @CHC FD - 37.9 DK - 24.93 If you want to pivot down from Archer, we do have a solid option in Jon Lester. While the Nats are a team you typically stay away from, they can be targeted from the left side. We still have Anthony Rendon and Ryan Zimmerman to worry about, but it's better than Harper and Murphy. Lester is lights out against lefties, which blanks at least 3-4 guys in the Nats order. Against righties, he's allowed a .330 wOBA. He's struck out nearly 10 batters per 9 innings and has finally started limiting the running game, albeit in a small way. The Cubs are also big favorites here at home against Fedde, who has a lot of learning to do. Lester will very rarely burn you and this is another match-up where he should go 6-7 innings, strikeout 7 and get the W. I will say he's a bit safer than Archer, though not by much. Lester does have the blow-up potential and it gets very ugly on the rare occasion. Vegas has the Nats below 4.25 runs, which you will very rarely see. Lester...

We've got you completely covered. Boston Red Sox The Red Sox are probably going to be the most popular stack of the night. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockies passed them up, but I doubt it. Whenever James Shields takes the mound, people know where to look. He's simply one of the absolute worst pitchers in the entire league. If he was 25, he would be in AA. Over the last 2 years, he's allowed a .372 wOBA to righties and a .411 to lefties. You can target anybody against him and you have a strong shot. Shields is striking out nearly 6 batters per 9 innings and walking close to the same. He now moves into Fenway Park and faces off with one of the best offenses in the game. Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi are my 2 favorites and guys I have on my cash game. After that, Rafael Devers and Hanley Ramirez are excellent options. They can both hit righties well and in Fenway, see a huge bump. This offense is very spread out and with your bottom picks, you can go anywhere. Vasquez and Bradley Jr/ have some pop in the lower part of the order and will come in under 10% owned. Main Stack - Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Rafael Devers, Hanley Ramirez Sneaky Stack - Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Mitch Moreland, Jackie Bradley Jr. Detroit Tigers This is definitely a sneakier stack. With most stacks, you're looking for a flow of runs with singles, doubles, and then one big homer. While that would be great to see here, it's not what I expect. I expect the Tigers to hit 2 or 3 solo/2 run bombs. they struggle getting runners on the bases, but shouldn't have much of an issue squaring up Wade Miley a few times from the right side. He's a very easy pitcher to figure out. Against lefties, stay away. Against righties, shoot away. In 89 innings this season, Miley has a allowed a pitiful .337 wOBA to righties. He's given up 16 homers and has shown no signs of improving. He's...

We've got you completely covered. Pitchers Danny Salazar FD 8900 DK 9400 Opponent - NYY (Montgomery) Park - @CLE FD - 32.2 DK - 21.33 We touched on Gerrit Cole and Drew Pomeranz in the main picks article and they remain the top 2 options on the slate. In this one, we'll look at two guys who have some tournament appeal. Starting with Danny Salazar, he faces the Yankees. While the Yankees are definitely a scary team against righties and rightfully so, they do hold the highest BABIP in the league and strike out nearly 23% of the time. THe Yanks are known to get shut down and when they do, it's ugly as can be. Danny Salazar is definitely one of those guys who can put the Yanks on their heels. So far in 2017, he's been horrible against lefties. We know that's not the true talent he really is and we can be sure of that number coming down very soon. Otherwise, he's striking out over 11 batters per 9 innings and doing a good job of limiting the one big inning. He can get to 110 pitches and at Progressive Field, he pitches far better. All in all, he's facing the Yankees. If they decide to have a big night, it won't matter what Salazar tosses in there. If he starts early and gets some guys to K, it could be a long night on the road for the Yanks. Salazar is only an option I would consider in tournaments. Charlie Morton FD 8300 DK 9500 Opponent - TOR (Estrada) Park - @HOU FD - 31.75 DK - 21.03 This game between the Astros and Blue Jays is sitting at just an 8 over/under. With Charlie Morton and Marco Estrada facing these 2 offenses, I expected it to be around 9.5-10. Instead, Vegas has Charlie Morton shutting down the Blue Jays. Morton isn't a household name by any means, but he's pretty good. He's allowed a .321 combined wOBA, while striking out nearly 10 batters per 9 innings. Morton is a heavy sinker pitcher and it could have something to do with...
