We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Dallas Keuchel FD 9200 DK 11400 Opponent - TEX (Cashner) Park - @HOU FD - 35.43 DK - 23.26 This is easily one of the worst pitching slates you'll see on the season. On the early slate, you have Stephen Strasburg and Carlos Martinez to choose from. Not too shabby. On this main slate, you have exactly 0 pitchers I'm overly excited to play. There are some tolerable arms, but nobody that makes me comfortable in cash games. Dallas Keuchel is as close as you'll get and it's only because of his talent. He has been average as of late and is definitely a bit overpriced. With that being said, he's facing an average offense against righties at home, where he's posted a .218 wOBA on the year. The Rangers are much worse against lefties (still not bad) and strikeout more than average at nearly 23%. Keuchel is the most talented pitcher on the slate and in turn the top option in both cash games and tournaments. The match-up isn't bad enough where it pushes me to any of these alternatives. Travis Wood FD 5700 DK 6000 Opponent - SF (Blach) Park - @SD FD - 24.53 DK - 16.22 If you're going for raw points, Jose Quintana and Robbie Ray are the next 2 guys you run into. The match-up is extremely shaky for both and in Ray's case, he's acing the best offense in baseball in Chase Field. If you're forced to pay up for an SP2, I do prefer Quintana. If you're talking in terms of PP/$, Travis Wood may be next. To be clear from the start, he's not a very good pitcher. He's just extremely cheap and will allow you to pay up for whatever bats you want. The Giants are a horrible team and they rarely hurt an SP too bad. You're hoping for 5-6 innings and 1-2 runs here, with the hope for a win. I'll also say limit your Wood exposure to DK. He's simply unnecessary outside of a large-field GPP's on FanDuel. Just pay up for one of the more talented arms. All in all, you have a butt-ugly slate at pitcher. Let's see if it gets any better with the bats....

We've got you completely covered. Pitcher Corey Kluber FD 11200 DK 13100 Opponent - NYY (Severino) Park - @NYY FD - 38.05 DK - 25.21 Corey Kluber and Luis Severino clash in what figures to be a battle of the heavyweights. You have 2 elite offenses against 2 elite pitchers. On one side, you have Severino and the Indians. While I think he's a throng option, I do think the Indians get to him for a few early runs. On the other side, you have Corey Kluber and the Yankees. One of the 3 best pitchers in baseball. The guy with a 12.26 K/9 and 1.89 B/9. He's held both sides of the plate to a sub .250 wOBA and is allowing hard contact just 29% of the time. Kluber is truly at a point where he can't get much better. This is his ceiling. The Yankees are a solid offense, but they K a lot and we know Kluber can provide them. I'll take Kluber 10/10 times against this offense, though the typical Sanchez/Judge can always get a hold of one. Even if they do, Kluber will go 7 innings and strikeout at least 8. He's the safest guy on the board and has the most upside. Expect him to be highly owned. Aaron Nola FD 8600 DK 10200 Opponent - ATL (Sims) Park - @PHI FD - 32.25 DK - 21.31 If you ask me who the 2nd highest raw projection is, it's Luis Severino. If you want to pay up for 2 guys and be super safe, fine. He's just nearly as expensive as Kluber and we have a pivot who we like a bit more that's a bit cheaper in Aaron Nola. Nola and the Phillies host the Braves and their 3.56 implied run total. We all know how atrocious the Braves are on the road and they will be facing off with a very lowkey, but effective pitcher. He strikes out close to 10 batters per 9 and controls both sides of the plate with a .292 combined wOBA. That goes down to a .272 in Citizens Bank Park. He's one of the brighter young arms in the game and faces off with one of the worst offenses. I don't expect a...

We've got you completely covered. Boston Red Sox Wade Miley takes the mound in Fenway Park, which should be pretty entertaining. While Miley isn't the same gas can a lot of pitchers in the league are right now, he has 1 very prominent weakness. HR's to righties. In Fenway Park, that is a very scary weakness to have. Especially when it's so severe that you rank top 5 in HR allowed to righties in 3 straight seasons. He's also allowed a .367 wOBA and 18 home runs in 108 innings of work so far. He has been very good against lefties, but you never know who might come wobbling out of that pen. This Red Sox lineup is filthy at home and may end up playing pepper with the green monster in the 1st inning. Hanley is definitely my favorite and my pick for HR of the night. After that, look for righties. Mookie Betts, Chris Young, Eduardo Nunez, and Xander Bogaets are all extremely viable in both cash games and tournaments. You run into guys lowering the order like Sandy Leon and Jackie Bradley. They have upside, but don't go there outside of a large-field tourney. I'm not sure fading one of the top 4 guys will work out of if the Sox go off. Main Stack - Hanley Ramirez, Eduardo Nunez, Mookie Betts, Chris Young Sneaky Stack - Hanley Ramirez, Chris Young, Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts Arizona Diamondbacks I don't think the Diamondbacks have a lot of eyes on them tonight, but I could be completely off base. If they do stay under 15% like I expect, this is one of my favorite spots for the D-Backs all season long. Christopher Stratton is horrible and has survived with 3 of his first 4 starts in spacious AT&T Park. He now moves into Chase Field, which is the 2nd best hitting ballpark in baseball. It's also home to the insane left-handed beasts Jake Lamb and David Peralta. Stratton has allowed a .367 wOBA to lefties and if you convert that over to this park, it's probably in the .700's. I don't...

We've got you completely covered. Carlos Carrasco FD 8700 DK 11800 Opponent - KC (Duffy) Park - @CLE FD - 34.04 DK - 22.5 In the main picks article, Jerry touch on 3 very viable guys. They remain my 3 favorite and I will have most of my exposure to them. After that top tier, we do have to dig a little bit. While Carrasco is a fantastic pitcher and he can throw a CGSO anytime, this isn't the perfect match-up. The Royals don't strike out a lot and they hit a lot better on the road. With that being said, this is still Carlos Carrasco pitching at home against an average offense. He's also struck out 26 in his last 3 games, so he can get K's' against these guys. He just might not get 10 or 11 like he does against the Rays or Orioles. All in all, I see Carrasco as a solid, yet underwhelming option. If I'm going to pay the price, I prefer Archer and Darvish. If you want to get crazy in tournaments, Carrasco does give you the upside. This just might not be the right night. Tanner Roark FD 7800 DK 7800 Opponent - NYM (Milone) Park - @WSH FD - 30.49 DK - 20.12 This one just comes down to the match-up. After the big 3 and Carrasco, pitching is an absolute mess. When trying to figure out who to put here, guys like Patrick Corbin and Charlie Moton almost made it, so that tells you how we're looking. I decided to go with Tanner Roark, who is facing off with the pitiful New York Mets. The Mets, who only have 3 players left from opening day, are what we call a dumpster fire. Or maybe the entire landfill. This Mets lineup is porous as can be and a veteran like Roark should have no problem working through it. Nationals Park is spacious and just about the same as Citi Field. The Mets current hitters strikeout 26% of the time and hold a .301 wOBA against righties, coming in 2nd worst in the last 30 days. Roark...

We've got you completely covered. New York Yankees This early slate has a few offenses to target, but the Yankees are undoubtedly my favorite. They face off with the worst pitcher in Yovani Gallardo and have the most potent offense. Gallardo has struggled against both sides of the plate this year, but is a lot worse against righties. Through 57 innings, he's given up a .372 wOBA and 13 home runs. Both Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge should have a lot of fun here and are the 2 guys you can't leave off of a Yankees stack. After the duo, you can really go anywhere. Aaron Hicks and Didi Gregorius hit lefties and righties well, so you won't have to worry about who's coming out of the pen. Towards the bottom of the order, you get some power bats in Todd Frazier and Chase Headley. Starlin Castro just came off the DL as well, so keep an eye out for him in the lineup. Vegas has the Yanks slated at 5.55 runs, so you're going to want exposure in both cash games and tournaments. Main Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Aaron Hicks, Didi Gregorious Snaky Stack - Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Chase Headley, Todd Frazier Cleveland Indians This late slate is one I don't love for stacking. While we have plenty of offenses to target, I think a balanced approach may be the way to go. With that being said, the Indians are the top offense on the board. They face off with Jason Hammel, at home in Progressive Field. Hammel isn't the worst pitcher in the world, but he also isn't very good. A lot of his numbers are held up by Kauffmann Stadium and the insane spacious outfield. The move to Progressive Field will be tough on Hammel and I expect this Indians offense will nickel and dime him to death. You then run into guys like Edwin Encarnacion and Carlos Santana, who can hit it a mile. The stack has plenty of upside and I really don't think it will be over 15% owned. The Royals pen is...
