Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/14/16 We come off a short slate Sunday with a 9 game Monday slate that's full of intrigue. We've also launched a Stats and Research Page, which includes a lot of the individual statistics that we use to make our projections. It's free! Enjoy. POINT GUARD Brandon Knight - FD 6600 DK 7200 Opponent - MIN FD Proj. Pts - 32.34 DK Proj. Pts - 34.54 He was right back up to his old ones against the Warriors, putting up 20 shots in 37 minutes and a huge fantasy total (46 FanDuel points). It's a fine match-up with the Timberwolves - they've allowed the 6th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season - and it should shock exactly no one if he goes off here once again. The only real risk in play is him getting reduced minutes for some sort of precautionary reason (since he's still not that far away from a long stretch of missed games due to injury), but I'm ready to call him safe for double-ups. Ricky Rubio - FD 6600 DK 6200 Opponent - PHX FD Proj. Pts - 35.67 DK Proj. Pts - 36.81 A lower upside, higher floor version of Brandon Knight. Rubio's got 3 double-digit assist games in his last 4 contests, and has been consistently crashing the boards and getting in the lane as well. The Suns, meanwhile, have...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/13/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/13/16 After a frantic Saturday, it's nice to settle into a nice 4 game slate. I'll be ignoring the early game here because, who plays the 3:30 Sunday game? If you happen to, projections for those guys are in the lineup optimizer, but this article will focus mostly on the 6 PM EST and later NBA games today. There's blessed little total uncertainty today, so hopefully we can get a solid footing to make some great picks. Let's get started! Now’s your chance to get DFSR Pro with NBA Optimal Lineups, Projections, Player Cards and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel. Or try a free trial of our base package with projections for every player. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA and NHL (and MLB when the time comes)! We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! We've also launched a Stats and Research Page, which includes a lot of the individual statistics that we use to make our projections. It's free! Enjoy. POINT GUARD Jerryd Bayless - FD 4200 DK 4700 Opponent - BKN FD Proj. Pts - 26.57 DK Proj. Pts - 27.77 You'll know a little bit more about this pick when you're reading this than I do when writing it, since you'll have the benefit of knowing how many minutes Bayless played on Saturday. If he's back in the high 30s once again, he's a great 50/50 play, especially against a Brooklyn team that's allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season. But really, just a price and opportunity mismatch. Darren Collison - FD 5300 DK 4900 Opponent - UTA FD Proj. Pts - 27.33 DK Proj. Pts - 28.74 Rajon Rondo - FD 8300 DK 7800 Opponent - UTA FD Proj. Pts - 37.89 DK Proj. Pts - 38.56 Both of these guys are playing huge minutes for George Karl right now, and while Rondo is the only actual point guard listed here, both have a better match-up than you might think. Shelvin Mack has done a nice job for the Jazz in a lot...

Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury News and Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/9/16

Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury News and Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/9/16 Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! SEE OUR NEW TOOLS NOW! What We Know Mario Chalmers is starting again with Conley out He played 41 minutes and paid 7x points per dollar in his last start, so it felt relevant to mention. I love Chalmers in all formats. Nerlens Noel is back, Jahlil Okafor is still out All this means is that we get to stop recommending Jerami Grant, who never quite turned in the huge performance we were hoping for with the Sixers mixing both of their big men. I won't play Noel - the minutes are too speculative - and this also (mostly) kills Grant's value outside of a home-run big tournament play. Dion Waiters is out The only issue is, he doesn't really do anything even when he actually plays. This will free up a lot of minutes to go to someone like Randy Foye, but that makes him an interesting big tournament play at best. Nothing relevant to double-ups, here. What We're Waiting to Know Will Hassan Whiteside recover from the NBA flu? Does anyone get "stomach illnesses" more than NBA players? I say no. I wasn't planning on playing Whiteside tonight, but if he does miss the game, it should affect a lot of what the Heat do. We can't totally use the last game he missed as a great indicator as to what will happen if he misses tonight since Dwyane Wade also missed the game, but it's worth noting that Luol Deng and Justise Winslow both played huge (and effective) minutes in his absence, and Josh McRoberts got 30 minutes off the bench. Gerald Green also played big minutes in that game, but that was almost certainly a result of Wade's absence. It's a good match-up with the Bucks, so I'm definitely looking at a number of Heat guys if Whiteside's bellyache keeps him out here. Update: It's been revealed that Whiteside will play, and our projections reflect that currently. Norris Cole's status Cole played 40 minutes on...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 3/7/16

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - 3/7/16 Well, we're coming off one of the weirder days in the NBA. An historically great team lost to an historically bad team. Some absolutely huge performances led to lots of 400+ point lineups on a relatively short slate. Just weird. Since this is the NBA, today will probably be weird, too. The big narrative of the day will likely be: Will the Warriors go berserker mode on the poor Magic? Let's break down the top plays. If you want to grab a free trial of the winning projections that inform each and every one of these picks, check out our NBA Optimal Lineups, Projections, Player Cards and Google Chrome extension that auto-populates your lineups into FanDuel. While the seasons overlap, you'll get access to our tools for the NBA and NHL (and MLB when the time comes)! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! We've also launched a Stats and Research Page, which includes a lot of the individual statistics that we use to make our projections. It's free! Enjoy, POINT GUARD Chris Paul - FD 10000 DK 9700 Opponent - DAL FD Proj. Pts - 46.21 DK Proj. Pts - 48.11 Paul increased on his league leading time of possession per game from 8.7 minutes in January to 9.1 in February. The trend is clear - when Blake is out of the picture, Paul is the entire facilitator of the Clippers' offense. He's got 6 straight games with a double-double, and averaged 6 rebounds during those game as well. He's filling it up right now, and looks like a very safe 50/50 play in a league average match-up with the Mavs. After watching Mudiay get 21 shots in the air against the ailing Deron Williams, it's hard to imagine what Paul can do to him on the 2nd night of a back to back after an overtime game. Rajon Rondo - FD 8600 DK 8000 Opponent - NOP FD Proj. Pts - 38.73 DK Proj. Pts - 39.44 Rondo's been averaging 13 assists a game since the All-Star break, and he's locked into 37-40 minutes a game at the moment. He manages to have the 7th highest time of possession per game in spite of sharing the court with two huge ball hogs (Boogie, Rudy Gay), which is really saying something. The Pelicans have allowed the 10th most points per game to opposing point guards, and this has all the makings of high teens assists game...
