Zurich Classic of New Orleans TPC Louisiana - Avondale, Louisiana Par 72, 7,425 Yards This week the players head to Louisiana for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The course is rated as one of the easiest on tour and you need to go low to have a chance this week as the winning score is usually around -17 to -20. When looking at course history it is a real crap shoot as even players with good finishes have missed cuts mixed in. I am looking more this week at current form for those players who are peaking at the moment. As most of the scoring here is done through the Par 4's and 5's I will be looking at both together with the usual Strokes Gained stats and GIR. Now that we are well into the 2015 season I will be solely looking at 2015 stats. This week more than ever it seems like a time to really target GPP's as anyone can get hot for 4 days here. Good luck! Strokes Gained: Tee to Green Strokes Gained: Putting Greens in Regulation Par 4 Scoring Par 5 Scoring Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $9,000-Max) Dustin Johnson - $13,000 (Vegas Odds – 9/1) I don't mind one bit that his price is $13,000. When looking for a player in good form look no further than Johnson. Coming off a T6 at the Masters, T6 at Texas Open, and a Win at the Cadillac, Dustin's game is looking pretty good. If he can get a good tournament from the putter, another win is in store. Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 1st Strokes Gained: Putting - 139 Greens in Regulation - 132 Par 4 Scoring - 106 Par 5 Scoring - 3 Keegan Bradley - $10,500 (Vegas Odds – 21/1) When I look a little lower on the list I gravitate to Bradley. His form is good(T22,T5,T49,T38) and has only missed one cut in 2015. He finished T8 here last year and is a guy who can go low with the help of the long drive. I really like the fact he is around the top 60 in both Par 4 and 5 scoring. Strokes Gained: Tee to Green - 14 Strokes Gained: Putting - 125 Greens in Regulation - 90 Par 4 Scoring - 58 Par 5 Scoring - 64 Brendan Steele - $9,200 (Vegas Odds –...

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks RBC Heritage

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks RBC Heritage DFSR is proud to bring you our golf contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. RBC Heritage Harbour Town Golf Links - Hilton Head, South Carolina Par 71, 7,101 Yards Well the Masters is now over and Jordan Spieth is now #2 in the world. Now comes the test of catching Rory. As for the Masters test, Spieth looked like he cheated off someone else's sheet(Tiger). He led the tournament wire to wire and if it wasn't for a missed putt on the 18th Sunday he would have broke the Masters scoring record. I don't remember such a dominating Masters performance since Woods himself. Ok, ok Spieth is amazing, time to move on. Didn't win the Million like I had planned this weekend but cashed 4/7 of my lineups. Time to get ready for the US Open in June and the next Millionaire Maker. I will be playing a lot more satellites each weekend leading up to the tournament to get more tickets at a cheaper cost. I will be aiming for about 20-40 tickets into the next Millionaire Maker this time and will get started this weekend at the RBC Heritage. The players leave Augusta and head to South Carolina and Harbour Town Golf Links for the RBC Heritage. The tournament has been played here since 1969. The course was designed by Pete Dye with help from Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The course requires an accurate drive and approach as the fairways are narrow and the greens are small. With the small greens and lower than average GIR, I will also be targeting scrambling as a key stat. A look at the key stats I am targeting this week: Strokes Gained:Tee to Green Strokes Gained:Putting Driving Accuracy Greens in Regulation Scrambling Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $9,500-Max) Well, I actually thought Spieth would be a little more expensive this week. He is still $1,500 more than the next guy so I will be avoiding him for the most part. I just can't see how he will be able to concentrate on this tournament after winning the Masters, especially with all the media obligations and everyone wanting a piece of him. I will pivot off in Tier 1 to the following guys. Zach Johnson - $10,900 (Vegas Odds – 17/1) Johnson is the 3rd most expensive golfer this week. He comes into this week after a T9 at Augusta, T20 at Valero, and a T9 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He has done fairly well here...

Draftkings Daily Fantasy PGA Picks – Valero Texas Open

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks Valero Texas Open DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. Valero Texas Open JW Marriott TPC San Antonio(Oaks Course) - San Antonio, Texas Par 72, 7435 Yards This week the players make a stop in San Antonio, Texas for the Valero Texas Open. The TPC San Antonio Oaks Course was designed by Greg Norman and player consultant Sergio Garcia. It has been host to the Texas Open since 2010 so I will only be looking at the most recent 5 years history. The course has tree lined fairways with plenty of sand, thick rough, and natural environments which can get a player into some unplayable lies(Check out Kevin Na's worst day ever!). Scrambling will be a key stat I will look at this week as wind can keep the players from being as accurate as usual off the tee. I am really going to target good ball strikers that excel in Accuracy and GIR more than distance. Here are all the stats I am looking at this week: Ball Striking Driving Accuracy Greens in Regulation Strokes Gained:Tee to Green Strokes Gained: Putting Scrambling Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $8500-Max) Jordan Spieth - $14,000 (Vegas Odds – 10/1) When deciding between the two favorites I flip-flopped between Spieth and Johnson as I like them both this week. It ultimately came down to course history and some key stats for Spieth. Dustin hasn't played this course since it has been here at TPC San Antonio and Spieth has played here 3 times(2014-10th, 2013-cut, 2012-T41). Current form for both top dogs is appealing but Spieth has only missed 1 cut this 2015 portion of the season(1st,17th,4th,7th,cut,7th). Four top 10's and a win so far. While his ball striking, driving accuracy and GIR aren't anything to write home about there are a few stats he is great in. SG: Tee to Green - 2014(38) 2015(11) SG:Putting - 2014(20) 2015(23) Scrambling - 2014(13) 2015(39) Matt Kuchar - $10,300 (Vegas Odds – 23/1) Don't you just want to pick him because all he does is smile and finish near the top every time out? He has't missed a cut this season (33rd,23rd,30th,2nd,3rd), and has a great course history here playing it three times (T4, T22, T13). Kuchar's stats were more consistent across as a whole in 2014 but in 2015 you will see his SG stats are still high as well as scrambling. A strong pick as he prepares for the Masters. Ball Striking - 2014(42) 2015(127)...

Draftkings Daily Fantasy PGA Picks – Arnold Palmer Invitational

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks Arnold Palmer Invitational DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. Arnold Palmer Invitational Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Orlando, Florida Par 72, 7381 Yards This week the PGA Tour heads to Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. The field is smaller but still a solid 120 golfers. Tiger, who is not in the field this week, has dominated this course winning 8 times in his career. Bay Hill is another typical Florida course with sand, water and wind to protect itself. Matt Every took down last year's tournament with a -13, narrowly beating Keegan Bradley's -12. A score of -13 has won the tournament 3 years in a row and before that Martin Laird won with a -8 in 2011. The fairways and greens are tough to hit so accuracy will be important off the tee. Distance does't seem to be at a premium so I will use Total Driving this week which is a combination of Distance and Accuracy. Also, when you look at the Par 5's the longest is a 525 yards so I will be using Par 5 performance as a key stat as well. With the rough usually pretty tough here and with the amount of bunkers in play I will also consider scrambling as well. Here is a list of the stats I am looking at this week. Total Driving Scrambling Strokes Gained:Tee to Green Par 5 Performance Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $9000-Max) Henrik Stenson - $12,500 (Vegas Odds – 12/1) First on my list this week comes before Draftkings pricing is released. I am picking Henrik no matter the price this week and I don't think he will be the most expensive(Rory, bubba). Henrik has made 6/6 cuts here in his career with some nice recent finishes(2014-T5, 2013-T8, 2012-T15). His current form is also where #3 in the world should be with a solo 4th at the Valspar and a T4 at WGC. He doesn't have enough rounds in 2015 to compile stats but his 2014 stats back up his World Rank and current form. Total Driving - 2014(2nd) Scrambling - 2014(171) SG:Tee to Green - 2014(11) Par 5 Perf - 2014(91) Hideki Matsyuma - $9,600 (Vegas Odds – 29/1) As a stats guy, Hideki Matsyuma always seems to fall under the radar for me. He is one of the most consistent golfers on Tour and it doesn't ever seem to matter what course he plays. He has only missed...

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks – PGA Honda Classic

PGA Daily Fantasy Picks PGA Honda Classic DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. PGA Honda Classic Course PGA National(Champion), Palm Beach Gardens, Florida Par 70 7140 Yards This week the PGA Tour travels to Florida for the Honda Classic. It is the beginning of the Florida swing and the PGA National has hosted the event since 2007. The course is known for its famous 3 hole stretch called “the bear trap” which got its name when Jack Nicklaus redesigned the course to make it tougher than it previously was. The course is a Par 70 setup with only 2 Par 5’s and 4 Par 3’s. The wind in Florida can howl making this a very tough test as most holes are guarded by a collection of Sand Bunkers and Water. Accuracy off the tee and around the green is crucial for this event. If you are targeting golfers who don’t hit the greens regularly, you need them to be very good scramblers, especially from the sand. Here are the stats I will be concentrating on this week: Ball Striking SG: Tee to Green SG: Putting GIR Scrambling Par 3 Performance Tier 1 Targets (DK Price $9000-Max) Note: With Rory’s return to the USA it puts his rice well above all other golfers this week and making him a fade for me. You can acquire the same upside for less salary and fit better golfers around him without taking risks with scrubs. Justin Rose - $10,800 (Vegas Odds – 21/1) It’s Rose’s first tournament on the PGA Tour since the Farmers where he had a bogey-filled first round to send him home before the weekend. There are no 2015 stats updated for Rose yet on the PGA so I looked at his 2014 stats closely as well as his 2 starts on Euro Tour in 2015. He has 2 top 13 finishes on Euro Tour so far and is hitting greens at a 75% Clip. His Scrambling is also ranked 12th on Euro Tour so far at 68%. His 2014 stats on PGA Tour are also good (Ball Striking-47th, SG:Tee to Green-4th, GIR-41st, Scrambling-31st) His course history is what really made him my top target. His last 3 starts here saw him go T4, T5, Solo 3rd. He has made 4/5 cuts here since the tournament moved to PGA National in 2007. Brooks Koepka - $9,500 (Vegas Odds – 34/1) Brooks has not played since the Farmers a few weeks ago where he finished...
