Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 2/12/16 Hello hockey fans and welcome to an awesome six-game slate in the NHL. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIES Devan Dubnyk FD - $9500 DK - $8200 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 19.36 DK - 4.84 Here we have a no-brainer pick to start off today's article, well at least for cash games, because he will be highly owned and it's obvious why that is. Dubnyk is in the running for the Vezina trophy and so far this season, he has a 30-9-3 record with a .934 save % and five shutouts. He has also won his last three games and 11 of his last 13. Detroit is not a good offensive team as they are ranked 26th overall in overall offense and dead last while having the man advantage. Dubnyk is a great play in cash games if you're playing the all day slate over at Fanduel and a great play in all formats in the early only slate on both sites.     Robin Lehner FD - $7900 DK - $7800 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 16.75 DK - 4.19 This choice is more about the team Buffalo is facing and not the actual goalie who will be between the pipes. The Sabres have been playing some decent hockey lately and they will be exciting to watch for years to come. Lehner allowed only one goal on a whopping 44 shots in a victory vs. the Maple Leafs last night. The Canucks are ranked 28th on offense and 26th on the penalty kill. The Sabres may start their backup Anders Nilsson today, but whoever they start makes a great play in all formats...

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM We are back to a three course rotation this week. Yay! Can you hear my excitement all the way up here in freezing cold Saskatchewan? Didn't think so. My wife couldn't even hear my excitement writing this and she is right beside me. Anyways here is a look at the three courses for the At&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM: The Courses *Click to enlarge*   The biggest defense for all three of these coastal courses is the wind. Looking back at the final scores over the past few years we see some dramatic changes. Last year it was Vaughn Taylor winning with a -17, the year before Snedeker won with a -22 score but in 2014, with howling winds and some rain on Sunday, we seen Jimmy Walker win with a -11 winning score.  I am expecting this week to be somewhere closer to 2014 as Pebble Beach has been receiving rain since the weekend and it's expected to continue through Friday. The winds are also expected to be in the 10-15 mph range for most of the first three days with what looks to be a complete change in direction from Thursday to Saturday(cut day). All three courses use POA Annua greens. For a look at some of the POA Positive players for this week...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings – Waste Management Phoenix Open

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings - Waste Management Phoenix Open DFSR is proud to bring you, Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. As every week in DFS PGA changes with the course setup, field of players and weather, Chris will be providing a range of different picks for cash games(head to heads/double ups) as well as upside plays for tournaments. If you have any questions for Chris prior to lineup lock you can reach him a variety of ways. Leave your question/comment below in the comments section, find him in the DFSR Chat room or hit him up on Twitter(@Jager_Bombs9). **If you are looking for a recap of last week's tournament head over to my blog(JagerBombs Sports Blog) where I take a look at the ownership breakdown and DraftKings points to try and find some trends to exploit moving forward in the DFS golf season.**   Waste Management Phoenix Open I am going to start off with a direct quote from lat year's article. So ya, I am pretty disappointed to once again not be in Scottsdale, Arizona for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Ended up not being able to get the wife's passport in time. And for those of you asking why not just go without her?  Well, after three consecutive trips to Las Vegas without her over the last few years it was the WMPO or my marriage. Haha. The edge goes to my wonderful wife no doubt about it! Ok on to the preview.   This week the PGA Tour heads to TPC Scottsdale for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. It is an event like no other on the PGA mainly due to the wild Par 3, 16th hole which at times sounds more like an outdoor rock concert than a golf hole. You won't find a marshall holding up a QUIET sign, you won't see players asking fans to move or be silent. No, you will just hear roar after roar for those who hit the green and finish with a birdie. Even louder, you will hear BOO after BOO for those who miss the green or, worse yet, three putt. Before getting into the overall course breakdown and key stats, let's take a look at the construction behind the 16th hole for this tournament. The Course TPC Scottsdale - Scottsdale, Arizona Par 71 -  7,266 Yards Greens - Bermuda    TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course is a Par 71 setup that stretches 7,266 yards through desert terrain. Being a Par 71, there are only three par's this week and all of them come in around 550 yards and very reachable for almost the entire field....

Golfers will play one round on each of Torrey Pines North and South course before the cut of 70 and ties following the first 36 holes. The South course will be used for each of the final two rounds of the tournament. Here is a look at their yardages: Torrey Pines Golf Club (South Course) Par 72 - 7,569 Yards Torrey Pines Golf Club (North Course) Par 72 - 6,874 Yards   For a terrific hole by hole breakdown of both courses check out this LINK from the PGA Tour website. Focusing on the South Course,  where three of the four rounds will be played, you will see that it is an absolute beast closing in on 7,600 yards. Two of the Par 3's come in over 22o yards and can play as long as 240 while six of the 10 Par 4's come in over 250 yards. This will put a ton of emphasis on long iron accuracy if players are to score birdies this week. The average score at this event over the last five years has been around -11 which is a bit skewed from last seasons -6 winning score of Brandt Snedeker. The weather was absolutely nasty with only Sneds shooting under par in the final round. If you missed it, check it out below as it was one of the top rounds of the entire season. Unreal! Sorry about that. I got a little sidetracked on the YouTube again. I went back and looked at the results from the last four years and each players season-ending stats to get a feel for what is going to be the most important stats. What I found...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings & FantasyAces – CareerBuilder Challenge

He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis, and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings and FantasyAces. The first three days of the tournament are also played as a Pro-Am event so expect a ton of celebrities on the broadcast. I will be sticking to shot tracker myself. If you are playing cash games you will want to target more upside in your lineups this week as the 54 hole cut somewhat downplays the ability of cut making and increases the importance of birdies and eagles. The average winning score over the last five years has been -25 and this course lead the tour in eagles last season(per Pat Mayo Hour). With three different courses, it makes it really tough to nail down specific stats so I will be rolling with a fairly straightforward model this week on my cheatsheet. I will be weighing Birdie or Better % as the most important with Par 5 Scoring right behind. For the Strokes Gained metrics, I will be relying on a combination of "Off the Tee" and "Approach". I am leaving SG: Around the Green out of the equation this week as I feel if you are scrambling consistently there is no way you will score -20 or better. It's really that simple this week. Roster guys who have form and make tons of birdies. One thing to note is that if you are looking at the cheatsheet I...
