They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 74% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 61% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups Quarterback Seth Russell Russell is Russell and this spot will be short. He’s great. Baylor’s great. They’re expected to score 50+ points. Now, let begin the discussion on how to fit his salary and why he still represents strong value at this price. The study we illustrated in our CFB eBook clearly indicated high end quarterbacks that have the ability to pass and run deviate considerably less from their mean than any other style QB. Russell fits that mold for sure. The value at the skill positions is far thinner than your typical Saturday early slate, which generally lowers the cash point in the large 50/50’s, making Russell’s projected point total a little more valuable. There are just enough salary relief guys out there making Russell a possibility. Plus, you have to admit it’s fun watching him score every 2.7 plays. Marquise Williams WIlliams fits a similar mold as Russell whereas he posses the ability to both pass and run making him more difficult to contain and thus raising his floor. North Carolina is not projected for nearly as many points as Baylor, but considering Russell probably won’t be under center for all of Baylor’s points, their opportunity is arguably similar relative to price. Typically their price difference would not be enough to get me away from Russell, but this slate does not offer a plethora of high quality options making the extra $$$ you save on Williams a difference maker. Williams presents more risk than Russell, but Virginia’s defense greatly reduces the likelihood of Williams laying an egg. Running Back Saquon Barkley This game has a low total and Penn State’s offense has been pretty much, well, unproductive. Barkley, however, has been a real bright spot for the Nittany’s and after missing a couples due to injury ripped off 194 yards against the Buckeyes. He didn’t find the endzone which has been a problem for Penn State all year, but Maryland has shown the ability to be the magic potion for offensively challenged team. Running back is fairly thin Saturday morning and I think Barkley is clear cash play standout for me. I will have him in most of my cash games on FanDuel, but...
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday-Friday 10/22
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday-Friday 10/22/15-10/23/15 Another Thursday-Friday slate coming at you and we've got you covered. Bunch of solid teams and players to choose from. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 2 FanDuel and 1 DraftKings lineup. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 74% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 60% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups Quarterback Paxton Lynch Tulsa is a heaping pile of defensive garbage so I think Paxton Lynch will have his way, but his salary is somewhat restrictive and especially on Draftkings. If you are finding his salary difficult to fit you can look at Taylor Lamb, but even at a lower tag he presents a little more risk compared to Lynch. Memphis is projected for the highest team total and Lynch touches the ball more than anyone. The game being played in Tulsa should allow Tulsa to put some points on the board themselves. I probably shift to Lamb on Draftkings and or if I am looking for more upside, but your odds on cash play is Lynch. Running Back Jahad Thomas Outside of Paxton Lynch I’m not sure there is a safer way to get your money in than with Thomas. Temple could stumble a little in this one as East Carolina poses a tough road challenge under the Thursday night lights. That being said, Temple’s defense should keep this one close if the offense does sputter and either way Thomas should get a hefty workload. He is pricey for sure and this game could be a relatively low scoring affair, but the other backs have similar concerns without the locked in volume. Temple is 6-0 on the back of Thomas and will look to utilize their prized back win, lose or draw. Wide Receiver Kenny Lawler At first glance it looks as if Lawler is dependent on touchdowns and while that’s technically true don’t think his 8 scores in 6 games is a fluke. Jared Goff, Lawler’s quarterback, is arguably the most NFL ready quarterback in the nation which can make up for a fair amount of deficiencies in an offense or receiver. Lawler figures as a fringe NFL talent, but that’s good enough in college when paired with a guy like Goff. His role in the offense is secure and he is the lead dog for the Bears pass happy offense. He sort of struggled last week against Utah, but most do. UCLA won’t hand it...
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Late 10/17/15
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Late 10/17/15 Boykin, Doctson, TCU oh my, Whenever these guys are around you know some scoring is going down. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 2 DraftKings and 2 FanDuel lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 74% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 61% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups Quarterback Trevone Boykin Boykin is certainly making his case for a Heisman with a nice comeback win against K-State. An aspect that has made an impact on Boykin’s DFS value has been the poor performance of TCU’s defense. They have been allowing 27.5 points per game putting Boykin in track meet situations more often. SMU, Texas Tech, and K-State combined for 134 points against TCU. I don’t think Iowa State has the offense to drop 35, but they should score and score enough to keep Boykin on the field. Boykin has the highest floor on the board making his salary money well spent. Anu Solomon On FanDuel I won’t be getting away from Boykin, but on Draftkings where two quarterbacks are utilized Anu makes for a nice middling play. His fantasy number wasn’t great in his first game back from injury, but you could argue he ran cold with touchdowns. They game also got out of hand quickly limiting the need for Anu to make plays. Zona is a touchdown favorite when they travel to Colorado and could be without Nick Wilson paving the way for Solomon to be the center of attention. I think we are getting a 10-15% discount on his price and with a juicy matchup he makes a nice cash game play. Running Back CJ Prosise Prosise has been dominant since taking over the starting gig. Even against Clemson where the Irish couldn’t get the run game going Prosise still found a way to get it done with 4/100/1 receiving. Last week against Navy he did it the ol fashioned way and ripped off 129 yards and 3 scores on just 21 carries. USC is in flux right now and it’s hard to say what kind of team will show up for the Trojans. Either way I trust in the Irish run game and the ability of Prosise. Some of the other elite backs should have nice games as well, but I think Prosise is right there with them in terms of production at a reduced price. Elijah Hood I would like to see more...
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Early 10/17/15
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Early 10/17/15 Huge Saturday slate with a ton of awesome offenses vying for the "Who might put up 70 points" title. We've got you covered for this big one. Click Here to Purchase Lineups Quarterback Seth Russell He’s the most expensive quarterback for a reason and it’s a very good one. Baylor has arguably the most potent offense in the country and have been absolutely destroying teams. Basically, they have talent everywhere you look. Not necessarily NFL talent, but among the college ranks it seems like all their guys are combine all-stars. Russell takes care of the ball, makes good decisions, and can pull it down and run whenever needed. The only thing holding Russell back from putting up 50+ fantasy points on a weekly basis, is Russell. He rarely plays a whole game and still offers one of the highest floors relative to price. West Virginia will be one of the better teams Baylor has faced and possibly the best defense they have seen all year. Make no mistake about it, I don’t think WVU has much of a chance keeping up with Baylor, but they could hang around longer than most giving Russell more opportunity to produce. Either way I’m all-in on Russell as my top cash play. Chad Kelly Kelly had quite a tumultuous start to his college career, but it was his attitude and not his talent that was called into to question. After being dismissed from Clemson and spending a year at community college he transferred to Ole Miss and put the world on notice leading Ole Miss to back-to-back 70+ point games. Then he dropped the hammer with a road win against Bama, but followed that up with two poor performances. He got back on track last week, albeit against New Mexico State, but defensively speaking Memphis is pretty awful too. What they can do and what I hope they do, is put some points on the board. Ole Miss can play defense and especially at home, so Memphis may have more trouble than normal scoring, but they have done it against quality teams as well. Kelly seems to dominate bad teams and while Memphis isn’t bad they struggle mightily on defense. He presents more risk than Russell,...
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Thursday-Friday 10/15/15-10/16/15
Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday-Friday 10/15/15-10/16/15 Really exciting Thursday-Friday slate in college football this week. Some big offenses going as well as a couple of solid defensive matchups. We've got you covered for the short slate. We're also selling lineups and cheatsheets for every CFB slate. This week they include 1 Thursday FanDuel, 1 Friday FanDuel and 1 DraftKings lineup along with a cheatsheet of write ups on a number of different players. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 74% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 60% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups and Cheatsheet Quarterback Brandon Doughty Doughty is the logical choice for your Thursday only slates and I would imagine he will be a very heavy start. Typically I would avoid paying this price for a one dimensional quarterback as they tend to deviate more from their mean compared to dual threat quarterbacks, but your other options are much less appealing. As I have mentioned previously, with short slates I tend to shift a little towards total point expectation and worry less about Pts/$. In other words, if Doughty drops a 45 spot it will be very difficult to cash without him. That being said, I still think Doughty offers the highest floor on a Pts/$ basis compared to the other options. You could argue Towles is a better value play, but the total point difference makes it hard to get away from Doughty. WKU is a 32pt road favorite with a total around 68 so even though the scoring is expected to be lopsided there should still be plenty of it. Doughty has thrown 19 TD’s in his last 5 games and given the matchup with North Texas another 4-5 touchdown game could be on the menu. Greg Ward Jr. Another short slate and another quarterback you can’t afford to fade. Like Doughty, Ward is the clear choice at quarterback, but unlike Doughty is far more safe given his dual threat ability. Houston’s offense centers around Ward as he leads the team in passing, rushing, and touchdowns. He can even be considered their primary goal line back. He is a capable passer, but his ability to break contain and gain yards on the ground is the real asset we are paying for here. Houston travels to Tulane as 17pt favorites with a total in the low 60’s, which offers a decent team projection for the Cougars. Ward is to the point where unless it is a really tough matchup...
