Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Nick Stevens You know it’s an ugly slate when one Nick Stevens heads your quarterback list. This pick is more about how the money works and the need to save where you can. I wouldn’t call Stevens a hope and a prayer as he has delivered double digit fantasy points in all but two games this season. Fresno State presents a favorable matchup for Stevens and he should be able to take advantage of the scoring opportunities. Colorado State travel to Fresno as 10pt favorites with a total in the high 50’s. Check the injury news before finalizing your lineups as Oden Jr is looking iffy. If Oden sits I like the idea of pairing Stevens with running back Darius Dawkins to capitalize on the expected scoring. I like Chad Kelly quite a bit on Draftkings, but his price point on FanDuel increases the risk he carries and is a bit restrictive. Jared Goff Goff is not available on FanDuel, but he is squarely in play on Draftkings. Cal plays host to Arizona State Saturday evening the fireworks should be on full display. Both teams have sort of tread water this season with both teams hovering 1 game above .500. Cal’s running game seems to be in flux, but Goff continues to sling the rock to his bevy of talented receivers. It’s not uncommon for Goff to spreads the ball around to a dozen or so different receivers. His willingness to distribute to the open guy makes it hard for the defense to focus on any one receiver. Cal has lost 5 of it’s last 6 games, but has been in just about every one of them. Arizona State offers a nice matchup at home. Vegas says almost 70 points, could be more.   Running Back Leonard Fournette What in thee hell has happened to this dude. Well, nothing. It’s just the ebs and flows of a brutal SEC schedule. Once these guys get into the thick of things much of their success depends on the team’s success. LSU just isn’t that great of a team. Sure, they beat up the...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Friday 11/27 Early Slate

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Friday 11/27 Early Slate Another packed Saturday in college football land. Some really high scoring games could be coming your way. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include DraftKings and FanDuel lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 68% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 58% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Nick Arbuckle There are a few ways to go in the upper echelon of quarterback choices to kick things off on Black Friday. There is enough value at receiver that paying up at quarterback won’t hurt your flexibility too much. The trick is where to pay. I’m paying for the very studious sounding Nick Arbuckle. Vegas pegs this game as a pick'em with a total around 60, both are favorable indicators. Neither team is particularly good, but that doesn’t mean we cannot glean fantasy production from the matchup. Arbuckle has thrown for 300+ yards in 5 straight games having twice passed for more than 400 yards in that same span. The Panthers don’t offer much in the way of a running game, but they’re not shy about chucking the ball around. CJ Beathard If you’re looking at saving some dollars at the quarterback position Beathard is a good way to go. It doesn’t feel sexy, but sometimes you just need to win ugly. That’s exactly what Iowa has done all year. They win, sometimes it’s ugly, but regardless they win. This also may not feel like a great matchup compared to some other options on the board, but Nebraska has been somewhat stingy against the run while not so much against the pass. Undefeated Iowa is only 1pt favorite at unranked Nebraska with a total just under 60. The line is begging you to take the 11-0 Hawkeyes, but also indicates an upset is looming. Tightly contested Big Ten games often end 7-3, but I don’t think either team has the defense to stop the other team. His price makes up for the lack of sexy. Note: Tommy Armstrong is very under-priced on Draftkings.   Running Back Kareem Hunt Hunt has looked great in his last 3 games and appears to have settled in as the workhorse after a bumpy start to the season. This is a great matchup for Hunt that could have monstrous results. Over his last 4 games Hunt has averaged 23.5 carries with no less than 20 carries in any one contest. The volume is locked in...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday All Day 11/21/15

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday All Day 11/21/15 Another packed Saturday in college football land. Some really high scoring games could be coming your way. These picks are for both the early and late slate of college football games this week. There are no lineups for sale this week. Enjoy the Saturday's games. Scroll down to the bottom for a copy of our free ebook on setting college football lineups. And if you are playing DFS NFL this week, check out Chris Raybon's NFL picks.   Quarterback Keenan Reynolds It’s official, Reynold’s is the all time leader for rushing touchdowns with 81. I understand you may feel there is no need to continue. I mean, he’s the all time rushing touchdown leader and he is $1300 less than the most expensive quarterback on FanDuel. Reynolds is not a guy you can just set it and forget it. In spite of the gaudy totals and some fantastic games he is prone to the real soul crusher time and again. Not that you read our CFB eBook, but I’m contractually obligated to mention our CFB eBook no less than a dozen times throughout the year. Reynolds is a guy that does one thing, he runs the ball. He does it very well, but if you take that away he crushes your soul and lineup all at once. One dimensional quarterbacks deviate from their mean more often than dual threat guys like Boykin basically making them the anti cash game play. Now that I have exhausted all the reasons to avoid Reynolds let me give you one reason I have him atop this weeks list. Tulsa. There you have it. Tulsa. Go get em Keeny. Mason Rudolph Rudolph is in unique guy to breakdown. He heads a high powered offense, but his fantasy totals don’t keep pace with the Cowboy’s output. I’ll save some time here and just say the Cowboys simply do a little of everything that gives them their strong point totals. His backup, JW Walsh, seems to sneak in a rushing touchdown or two per game further adding to the rub. That being said, the lack of big fantasy games out of Rudolph has kept his price in check compared to the potential of the game. This week is no different. In fact, I think it’s safe to say the expected game flow out strips his price by a healthy margin. That doesn’t mean, necessarily he will crush his price, but it does mean the opportunity will be there. Even if everything goes wrong he should still do enough to keep you in the running. If things fall right it’s the rest of the...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Late 11/14/15

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Late 11/14/15 Another packed Saturday in college football land. Some really high scoring games could be coming your way. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 1 DraftKings and 2 FanDuel lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season of our 69% of our FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 60% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games. Don't miss out. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback Baker Mayfield Like the early slate there are a few ways to go at quarterback and most of them involve dropping some serious coin. I think the start percentages will be fairly split among the top flight QB’s, but I like Mayfield for cash games more than the others. Much of this pick is based on an Oklahoma stack and when utilizing Mayfield, Mixon, and Perine you stand to capture just about everything Oklahoma does. If that holds up, and I think it will, that’s not a bad way to lock up a good chunk of salary with solid ROI. Oklahoma is projected for 35 points and if the last few weeks are any indication it will be at the hands of one of the big three. The other basis for this pick is my own personal feeling that Oklahoma hands Baylor its first loss of the season. Oklahoma has been running the snot out of the ball lately, but Mayfield is dangerous as ever and this game just has too much juice to it. I like Baker, but I like him more with Mixon and or Perine in the mix as well. Gunner Kiel As the season has progressed I think you can see I am more than willing to go with the crowd and equally willing to paddle up stream. I think Kiel will be a bit overlooked Saturday night with all the other big names on the board. This could help create separation in GPP’s, but I also think Kiel makes a fine cash play. Now that he appears to be fully recovered from early season ouchy head stuff Kiel has found a rhythm and the offense is grooving. Kiel has back-to-back games of 34 fantasy points and has another juicy matchup with Tulsa. Both teams play fast, both teams play offense, but only one team sort of plays defense and it’s not Tulsa. Playing Tulsa is like making a rehab start in the minors with the lone difference is they will score some points as well. The Bearcats are projected for about 45 points and...

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday Early 11/14/15

Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Saturday Early 11/14/15 Another packed Saturday in college football land. Some really high scoring games could be coming your way. We're also selling lineups for every CFB slate. This week they include 1 DraftKings and 2 FanDuel lineups. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. Click Here to Purchase Lineups   Quarterback JT Barrett There are a lot of moving parts this week and the value plays will likely change as news comes out, but not with my man pots and pans JT Barrett. The only reason Barrett is not a 10k quarterback is because Urban Meyer inexplicably chose Cardale Jones as the starter to open the season and his suspension last week. My guess is had been the starter to open the season or played at his normal level last week we would be looking at a salary up there with Boykin. Barrett is the perfect quarterback from a DFS perspective. He can run and he can throw. He also plays on a team and in an offense that produces a ton of points. I think you can make an argument to play Barrett over Boykin at the same price, but at a 10% discount it’s Barrett all day long. He may not be quite the passer as Boykin or have the weapons, but he runs more often and is more of a touchdown hawk in the red zone so I think that more than makes up for the lower passing totals. Barrett is the clear #1 for me. Keenan Reynolds There is enough value at receiver to figure out the final pieces to the puzzle, but depending on the injury news there may not be a ton of value at running back. If this scenario plays out one way to save some dough is to utilize Reynolds’ middling salary. It will be hard for me to get away from Barrett, but if I were, this is the guy to do it with. Reynolds is usually more of a GPP play with his basically one dimensional game. As our CFB eBook illustrated, quarterbacks with a similar skill set to Reynolds typically deviate more from their mean compared to a guy like Barrett who can beat you in multiple ways. That being said, he is typically 10-15% more expensive so with his 7100 FanDuel salary he starts to get back in the safety zone. Navy is not very deceptive about what...
