Point Guard JA Morant FD - $6700 DK - $7000 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 37.13 DK - 38.05 De'Aaron Fox FD - $7800 DK - $7400 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 42.86 DK - 42.98 We kick things off after the All-Star break with two of the league's most exciting young point guards squaring off against one another in Ja Morant and De'Aaron Fox. Our system was picking up on Morant's increased role in Memphis' offense to great effect leading up to the ASB, with Morant averaging 20 shots and 9.5 assists per game in the last two games before the break. I don't expect those totals to persist, but even splitting the difference between those numbers and his season averages would have him paying these prices handily. Fox has just been very steady on these prices all season, averaging exactly 5x points per dollar on these FanDuel prices to this point. The Kings' up and down season has caused him to miss his minutes in many games, but Vegas likes this one as being the most even contest on the slate, and both of these guys should be in for big minutes. Terry Rozier FD - $5600 DK - $5700 Opponent - CHI Proj Pts FD - 32.07 DK - 33.58 This is sort of a dumb price point for Rozier, right? He's been in the same role for Charlotte all season long, and has averaged roughly what we're projecting him for in this game. If these has been inconsistency in his performance it's largely been because his team has so much difficulty staying in games, but as chance would have it they are playing in the game with the second tightest spread on the evening. The Bulls aren't as good a match-up as you might expect for opposing point guards, but all that really matters here is the game staying close. Rozier is just a rock solid value play. The Los Angeles Clippers at the Boston Celtics Boston is favored by 1.5 points and no total has been released on this game as of this writing. Our first Thursday game is a rematch of the November 20th nailbiter that saw the Clippers pull out an overtime victory in a rare contest where both of these teams were (almost) at full strength. Gordon Hayward's absence certainly left a fingerprint on that game, but I still think we can learn a lot from it. Patrick Beverley has already been ruled out of this one, so it won't be a full rematch of their last meeting, but these teams are healthy enough that I'm still pretty excited. On a tiny two game slate every team has to be in consideration, but our lineup optimizer sees a pretty big difference between the best and worst plays on each team. Let's have a look. The Boston Celtics Daniel Theis FD - $5300 DK - $4600 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 30 DK - 28.56 On a two game slate power forward is pretty shallow, and Theis stands as a pretty clear play at the position. He was great when these two teams met previously, leveraging his size against the generally undersized Clips to generate 14 boards and 41 fantasy points in 31 minutes of action. He looks like a no brainer here. Let's talk about the rest. So the Clips/Celts game in November was actually a pretty strange one. Hayward was missing, and Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker shot a terrible combined 7-31, which left the game mostly in Tatum's hands. Our system sees this one playing out much differently, with Walker, Hayward, and Brown being good plays while Tatum is looking a little overpriced. I especially love Kemba given that he won't have to deal with Beverley harassing him at every turn, and would love to fit him into my cash games. That leaves us with a monster 11-game slate for today and that should make things interesting with so many injuries throughout the league. What's funny is that the biggest absence is not due to injury because Giannis Antetokounmpo is now a father. Let's kick things off by talking about his opposition, facing a Memphis club who sits fourth in pace and 21st in total defense. That pace alone makes Lillard one of the hardest players to fade out there, scoring at least 42 fantasy points in 12 of his last 14 games while averaging 58.3 DraftKings points per game in that span. That happens to be one of the highest totals in the NBA and the only other guys approaching that average are closer to $12,000. Coming off the back-to-back blowout loss to the Pelicans, we aren't all that concerned with any reduction in minutes here.  Eric Bledsoe FD - $6700 DK - $7700Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 41.05 DK - 42.01 Milwaukee players are going to be a common theme in this article and it's easy to see why with Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the lineup. That's 30 points, 13.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and a league-leading 37 percent usage rate gone and a guy like Bledsoe is plenty capable of taking over ball-handling duties in his absence. With him off the floor, Bledsoe is second on the team with a 32.8 percent usage rate while averaging 1.5 DK points per minute. While Bledsoe has only played three games that Giannis has sat, he's actually scored at least 44 fantasy points in all of them while averaging 51 DraftKings points per outing.  Kyle Lowry (FD $7300 DK $7900) remains a great value below $8,000 against a 20th-ranked Nets defense,...
