We've got you completely covered.Speculation is a dangerous game in the DFS community but we really have no choice when we're playing the final day of the NBA season. There are so many injuries and so much resting going on, that we really won't have a good idea who to play until right before lineup lock. With that in mind, we're going to key in on guys who have something to play for, as those are really the only players we can trust. The teams we really want to key in on are the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons. These two teams are battling for the final playoff spot in the east and that makes them tough to fade. Point guardKemba Walker FD - $9800 DK - $9500Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 47.03 DK - 48.64With Charlotte fighting for the final playoff spot in the east, Walker could be in for his best game of the season. The fact that the Hornets blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday only adds to Walker's intrigue, as his 27 minutes there should allow him to play at least 40 minutes of action here. A guy posting a 30 percent usage rate while averaging close to 25 shots per game is hard to fade when he's looking at 40 minutes, especially in a do-or-die game. Prior to Tuesday's blowout, Walker had at least 49 DK points in four-straight games and it's clear that he's in full takeover mode with everything on the line. Damian Lillard FD - $9400 DK - $9300Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 47.12 DK - 48.89It's unclear just how much Lillard will play here with Portland locked into the four-seed but he's a tough fade in this spot. What we really like about Lillard is this matchup, as he faces a Kings defense who ranks 26th in total defense while playing at the third-fastest pace in the NBA. That's just a small part of it, as they also allow the most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards. That's crystal...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 4/9/19
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday 4/9/19 The last few NBA weeks have been difficult to figure out but this slate has some clarity to it. With Monday being an off day for all 30 teams, there have been numerous injuries already released. That has opened up the door for tons of value and it makes for a fascinating slate. There’s one game we’re going to be focused on, as Boston will be without half of their roster. Finding the right combination of Boston players and matching it with a couple of studs will undoubtedly be the optimal lineup and hopefully, these recommendations will help weed it out. Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9100 DK - $9300Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 55.26 DK - 57.34 With Portland battling for playoff positioning, Lillard has absolutely taken over this team. In fact, Lillard is averaging 20 shots and 36 minutes per game across his last 13 fixtures while posting a usage rate close to 30 percent. It shows in his fantasy numbers, with Lillard averaging 47 DK points per game across his last 16 outings. That role and production is hard to fade when you consider the fact that he plays a Lakers team who ranks 21st in total defense while playing at the fourth-fastest pace in the NBA. In three games against Los Angeles this season, Lillard is averaging 52 fantasy points per game. Brad Wanamaker FD - $3500 DK - $3200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 28.36 DK - 29.47 Terry Rozier FD - $6000 DK - $5200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 29.29 DK - 29.92 With Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart and Gordon Hayward missing this game, that should leave all the ball-handling duties to these two. Rozier has been fantastic when starting for Irving, as he’s averaging 31 DK points per game in those starts dating back to last year. Wanamaker is no joke either, as he’s averaging about 0.9 DK points per-minute this season. With all of these guys out, that means Wanamaker could be looking at 25 minutes of action, which would equate to 23 DK points at that rate. Getting 23 DK points at $3,300 is a heck of a value and it’s going to...

We've got you completely covered. Welcome to craziness It's that time of year, my friends! We've got more than half the league playing for nothing at all, a few teams putting it all on the line, and another group of teams whose motivations we won't really be able to discern. Instead of going position by position today, I'm going to instead highlight which situations you should be mindful of here, and hopefully highlight some great plays along the way. Let's dive right in. The team playing for a ton The Miami Heat With Josh Richardson sidelined for a while, the Heat are both very motivated and very shorthanded. They're coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Timberwolves that saw them score 40 points in the second half against a team with nothing to play for. Today they'll play another team with nothing to play for in the Toronto Raptors. Canada's favorite team has fully nothing to play for, and it's very hard to imagine they go all out here. So where does that leave us? Justise Winslow FD - $5500 DK - $6200 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 32.12 Goran Dragic FD - $7200 DK - $8000 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 34.61 DK - 36.33 Winslow is coming off playing 37 minutes, and he'll be the cornerstone of the wing position for them here. Dragic is something close to their only ball handler, and his time of possession has been through the roof. Both of these guys should be incredibly high floor options here. I really think you can play a number of Heat, here. I like both Dion Waiters and Dwyane Wade, and James Johnson played a lot of minutes with everything on the line last game. And by the way - throw out DvP stats in this one, since Toronto will be playing with no motivation. The Detroit Pistons vs. the Charlotte Hornets Detroit is not officially in, and the Hornets are not officially out (at least I think they aren't. This is actually pretty hard to determine with the tools I have available to me). The Pistons have lost 4 of their last 5, but the good news is that Blake Griffin seems to have finally awoken after his 63 fantasy point opus against the...

We've got you completely covered. Brooklyn Nets at the Milwaukee Bucks There is no line on this game right now because the NBA is crazy. It's a rematch of the April Fool's game, but the circumstances couldn't be more different. On one hand you have the Bucks, who have now locked up home court advantage throughout the playoffs with a triumphant win over the 76ers. The issue, of course, is that they now have officially nothing to play for. They'll almost certainly be resting their starters for some of these last few games, but the issue is that we'll have next to no idea who or when unless they decide to bless us with this news beforehand. Guys like George Hill, Pat Connaughton, Ersan Ilyasova, and even DJ Wilson could all be spectacular plays if they happen to get the call to start this one, but without news confirming that I'd tread carefully here. I'll do my best to avoid any of the Bucks' regular starters here unless my hand is absolutely forced. D'Angelo Russell FD - $9000 DK - $9100 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 39.53 DK - 41.36 Joe Harris FD - $4800 DK - $5100 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 25.8 DK - 27.23 On the other side, we have the Nets. They are part of the furious race to leave the playoffs in the East, which features 3 of the 4 teams fighting over the last 3 spots losing their last two games. As we've seen in this home stretch, the Bucks don't need full run from their starters to beat teams, but of the four teams playing today you have to think the Nets are the most likely to stick to their game plan. And then you realize it's the Nets, and that game plans often mean squat. Still, the Nets are really, really going to want to win this one. So what should we expect? While the rest of the Nets seem to be interchangeable right now, it sure looks like Harris and Russell are going to be in line for 34+ minutes today. Russell is in line for a full on usage bump at the moment, as he's topped 24 shots a game in each of his last three as the wheels have attempted to...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Elfrid Payton FD - $7200 DK - $7100 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 36.34 DK - 36.97 It's been a nightmare season for the Pelicans but Elfrid Payton has been a huge bright spot for them. What's really made him special is the fact that everyone on this roster is injured, with Anthony Davis, Frank Jackson, Jrue Holiday and E'Twaun Moore expected to miss this game. Not only does that guarantee minutes for Payton, but it also guarantees heavy usage. It shows in his fantasy production, with Payton averaging 36 DK points per game across his last 11 outings. His upside has been incredible too, with Payton scoring at least 51 fantasy points five times in that stretch. The matchup is simply the icing on the cake, with Phoenix ranking 29th in defensive efficiency while allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PG's this season. That's evident by the fact that Payton is averaging 47 DK points per game in two meetings with the Suns this season. Emmanuel Mudiay FD - $6500 DK - $7000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 35.51 DK - 36.78 With Dennis Smith Jr. now out of the picture, Mudiay is the starting point guard for the Knicks. It's clear they want to ride him to the finish line too, with Mudiay averaging 30 DK points per game across 33 minutes of action in his last 11 games. Where that's really evident is in his usage, with Mudiay leading this roster with a 26 percent usage rate. Any player with that sort of usage and minutes workload is worth a shot, especially against a Houston defense who allows the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Also Consider: Cory Joseph scored 33 DK points in the last game without Darren Collison and is definitely worth a shot if Collison sits out yet again. Trey Burke would be tough to fade if Luke Doncic sits out too. Shooting Guard Tyler Dorsey FD - $3900 DK - $4700 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 23.71 DK - 24.52 With Mike Conley expected to miss this game, Dorsey becomes one of the best value plays on the board. Since capturing the starting shooting guard job two weeks ago, Dorsey has scored at least...
