FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday 1/20/20 Monday in the NBA hits hard with 14 games spread throughout the day, and the sites are all over the place with how they break it down. Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $6700 DK - $7000 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 38.03 DK - 39.11 Lonzo Ball has been playing some of the best hoops of his young career this season. In just the past few weeks he's posted three triple-doubles which doubles his career total, and the Pelicans aren't shy about giving him complete run of the boards with him averaging 42 minutes per game over his last three. So it's a mystery why the sites aren't budging on his price. DraftKings has even decreased the cost by almost $1K just over the weekend. Since December 29, Ball is averaging 38.18 fantasy points per game, which should have him priced in the low to mid $7K range, making him an absolute bargain. Memphis come into the day with the 25th ranked defense from a fantasy perspective, allowing the fourth-most points and second-most rebounds to opposing point guards. Another triple-double could very well be in the cards for Ball tonight, and if so he should surely be a part of some winning cash game lineups. Monte Morris FD - $4000 DK - $4700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 29.39 DK - 29.16 Jamal Murray has missed two games already with an ankle sprain, and it feels safe to say he's going to remain sidelined yet again tonight as the Nuggets head into Minnesota on the...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 1/19/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 1/19/20 With the NFL conference championship games going, the NBA has sort of ducked this slate. As of now we don't know what sort of slates are going to be offered, if any, but let's break down each game for kicks. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Miami Heat at the San Antonio Spurs Miami is favored by 1 in a game with a 221 total. Well, well, well, it's a rematch of last Wednesday's game, which the Heat took down by a score of 106-100. That's not a super exciting DFS total, and these are two teams that are essentially fairly priced. Rudy Gay is out for the Spurs, and Dejounte Murray is questionable, but right now there isn't a lot of obvious value jumping to the forefront. But what are you going to do, skip a whole game on a two game slate? I think not. Let's take a look at the two squads. The Miami Heat Duncan Robinson FD - $3900 DK - $4600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 23.32 DK - 24.86 Kendrick Nunn FD - $5000 DK - $5600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 24.88 DK - 25.5 As far as our system is concerned the Heat's value comes primarily from the back-court, with Nunn and Robinson leading the charge. Robinson has shown that he's nothing special, but given that Spoelstra is happy to leave him out there for 35+ minutes a game you can't ignore him at essentially the minimum price on FanDuel. He's paid almost exactly 21 fantasy points in each of his last three games, which is really all you can ask for here. Nunn has been electric recently, and while he's pretty scoring dependent, he's been absolutely shooting the lights out on the looks he's been getting. He crushed these Spurs for 46.6 FanDuel points on 13/18 shooting in that game, and while you can't expect that every game he still looks like a cash game staple. After these two, things get a little more speculative. Our system doesn't love Bam, but he was totally fine in the Wednesday game. You can also consider Goran Dragic off the bench. The San Antonio Spurs DeMar DeRozan...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 1/18/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 1/18/20 Before a tiny two-game slate on Sunday, we have a nice nine-gamer here. There are two games being played earlier in the day but we're going to go ahead and avoid those. What's also good news is the fact that we have every game starting by 9ET, making the injury reports much easier to figure out. With that in mind, let's get into our favorite plays of the day! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $7100 DK - $7000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 37.5 DK - 38.19 It's hard to understand why these sites keep Paul's price so affordable. Over his last 21 games played, Paul is averaging 38.9 DraftKings points per game across 33 minutes of action. That's the dude that we loved in his Clipper days and why he should be $1,000 more on each site. What makes him really attractive here is the matchup though, with Portland owning a 26th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. That's clear when you see that CP3 has at least 36 fantasy points in two of his three games against Portland this season.  Markelle Fultz FD - $5400 DK - $6200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 32.2 DK - 32.04 Fultz just recorded the second triple-double of his career earlier this week against the Lakers and that emphasizes just how much he's grown this season. Not only has he scored at least 26 DraftKings points in eight of his last nine games, Fultz is also averaging 32 fantasy points per game in that span. The thing that's really added to his value is the fact that D.J. Augustin is injured. Those two were essentially splitting the point guard minutes before and his absence should guarantee Fultz 30-35 minutes every night. We happen to love this matchup against a Golden State club who sits 23rd in defensive efficiency as well.  Shabazz Napier is definitely too cheap with Jeff Teague being shipped off to Atlanta.  Shooting Guard D'Angelo Russell FD - $7300 DK - $7400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 38.01 DK - 40.28 Russell is quietly having a nice year for the Warriors and it's clear that he's going to remain...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $11000 DK - $12400 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 55.8 DK - 60.53 It's a night without a lot of premier pay-up options, and while he's very expensive on DraftKings it's going to be hard to fade him on FanDuel. Luka had a brief three game lull for a few different reasons - weird game scripts and tough match-ups primarily - but got back in the saddle with a devastating 25/15/17 line against the Kings. While Doncic is not a traditional point guard, it's worth noting that his combination of size and vision matches up very well against Portland's undersized back court. I love Luka in all formats on FanDuel, and he should be the highest owned big money option on the slate. Shabazz Napier FD - $5000 DK - $5000 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.37 DK - 32.01 With Teague out of the picture permanently and no replacement imminent, Napier is positioned to slide right back into the role he inhabited when Teague was injured earlier in the year. In the last two games Teague missed Napier put together an average line of 21/4.5/5 in 32 minutes of action. He is far too cheap for that level of production, and while Indiana is far from an ideal match-up thanks to their slow pace and solid defense this is just a price and opportunity mismatch that we aren't likely to pass up. Chris Paul FD - $7000 DK - $6900 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 38.61 DK - 39.1 CP3 hasn't been a flashy play this season, but he has been a solid one on these prices. He's averaged almost exactly 5x points per dollar on these prices all season, and he's been even better recently. He's playing slightly longer rotations than he was earlier this year while supplying his same solid production, and it looks like the sites have over-corrected for a challenging Miami match-up. His solid across the board production means he's got a great floor, and that is all you can really ask for from a tough point guard position tonight. In the same vein,...

Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $6500 DK - $7900 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 39.59 DK - 41.02 As a general rule we try to avoid running guys against the Jazz, but I think we have a good reason to run a few tonight. While Holiday has been out for a while, FanDuel has not totally accounted for what his absence means for Ball, as you can probably tell by the disparity between his FanDuel and DraftKings prices. Ball has averaged a triple double in his last three games, has topped 30 in his last 8, and even performed against these very Jazz in that stretch. In that meeting the Pelicans put up 126 points in regulation, and Ball chipped in 21/8/7 in the effort. He's just too cheap on FanDuel right now, and almost match-up proof at these prices. Elfrid Payton FD - $5700 DK - $5500 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 31.37 DK - 31.06 The trick to playing Knicks this season is grabbing the right Knicks in the right game scripts. Payton has, at times, been one of those "right Knicks," as he should have a lot of time of possession in a roughly 32 minute rotation in close games. Phoenix isn't a dream match-up these days, but they are still plenty solid, playing the league's 10th fastest pace with league average defensive efficiency. Something like the 15/6/7 he put up against New Orleans is very much in play here. Also considered: Kemba Walker, though I'll be monitoring his status on the second half of a back to back. Shooting Guard Lou Williams FD - $6200 DK - $6900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.57 DK - 40.44 Lou Will grabbed a start on Sunday against the Nuggets and more than answered the call, putting together a solid 26/4/4 in 34 minutes. He headed back to the bench against the Cavs, but I don't think we can draw a lot of conclusions about his reduced playing time given that the Clippers were up by 35 heading into the fourth quarter. His playing time should get back to normal in what should...
