Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $9800 DK - $10300Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 55.48 DK - 58.24 Since January 15th, or his last 13 games, Dame has been nothing short of extraordinary. In that stretch, which included some games without C.J. McCollum, Lillard has averaged 39 minutes per game and an absurd 39 points, nine assists and five rebounds along with some blocks and steals to boot. Few players have put up this kind of fantasy run and while the price is up, it’s not really up enough. He’ll play the Pelicans who run the third-fastest pace in the league and there’s no secret why this game has the highest total on the slate. Lillard, at sub-$10K will probably be the chalk play on FanDuel. Lonzo Ball FD - $6700 DK - $7300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 38.52 DK - 39.89 The Pelicans have been dealing with some injury issues and Brandon Ingram is once again questionable for this game. Ball makes for a fine cash play though considering he produces, fantasy-wise, in a number of different ways. Over his last five games he’s put up double-digit points four times, rebounds twice and assists once (getting close two other times). It’s made for a 11 point, eight rebound, seven assist average with nearly two steals per game. The Blazers don’t defend opposing guards all that well, run a top-11 pace and have the 25th-ranked defense in the league. This is a good spot for Ball and he’s been playing about 37 minutes per game in the short term. If Demar DeRozan sits this out then Dejounte Murray (FD 5100 DK 5200) would be a very good play. Listen to Episode 50 of the We Got Nets, Brooklyn Nets Podcast Shooting Guard Zach LaVine FD - $9000 DK - $8200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 44.71 DK - 46.43 Lavine is coming too cheap on DraftKings facing off against DFS gold in the form of the Wizards. Washington runs a breakneck pace and plays almost no defense so it’s no secret we’re often stacking plays against them. Lavine is coming off a rough, 9-turnover game, against the Sixers in...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday, 2/10/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday, 2/10/20 The trade deadline is in our rearview, the All-Star break is coming down the pike, but there's still plenty of basketball action to sink our teeth into for a Monday slate. Let's get to it on a pretty full NBA slate for DraftKings and FanDuel. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Reggie Jackson FD - $5900 DK - $6600Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 33.88 DK - 35.6 Jackson continues to put up a ton of shots in the Pistons “offense” with Derrick Rose on the shelf and that isn’t likely to change as long as the latter is out. He’s scored 25, 28, and 20 points in each of the last three games with nine assists in two of the last three. It’s the dimes that are particularly encouraging for maintaining a higher fantasy floor and the minutes should be there as long as the game stays close. The Pistons have very few options at these point and the matchup against the Hornets is okay enough considering they are awful at defense, though do run a super slow (98.7) pace. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $6500 DK - $6900Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 36.2 DK - 37.39 There’s been some weird game scripts with Brogdon of late which do place him as a prime candidate for a cash game play on Monday because the price is still in check. He’s shot poorly from three over the last five (29%) and the minutes have fluctuated in a weird way. But I do believe the plan in close ones is to play him 33-34 and that’s enough to make a play at these prices on both sites. The Nets don’t bring a ton of perimeter defense and have trouble defending the pick and roll. This is a good spot for Brogdon who should have a higher minutes floor. If D'Angelo Russell sits out again then Jordan McLaughlin (FD $4600 DK $5300) would be a solid cash game play again considering the minutes floor would be pretty high. If Jimmy Butler remains out then Kendrick Nunn (FD $4600 DK $6000) and Goran Dragic (FD $5400 DK $5900) are both still very much in play. Shooting Guard Caris...

Point Guard Kendrick Nunn FD - $4900 DK - $5600 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 27.08 DK - 27.92 With Butler already ruled out, the Heat are all very much in play again today. Nunn saw reasonable cash game play last game, and while he didn't knock your socks off, he did put together a perfectly respectable 25.7 FanDuel points. And honestly, that looked like his floor. Nunn shot just 6 of 19 from the field and his teammates left a few of his assists on the table as well. Nunn is a good shooter, and Portland's back court isn't exactly known for their defense. I think he bounces back and is an excellent cash game play here. JA Morant FD - $6200 DK - $6300 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 36.41 DK - 37.5 Your run of the mill DFS players will look at Morant's game log and proclaim that he has been "struggling recently," and elect not to play him. Not this DFS writer. Morant has been involved in literally 5 straight blowouts, and we know that in normal game scripts he gets a 32-34 minute rotation. He's $1,000 cheaper than his peak prices, and going up against a Washington team that represents literally the league's best DFS match-up is a great way to get back on track. Keep an eye on the Trae Young situation. If he sits both Teague and Goodwin would be squarely in play. Shooting Guard Kevin Huerter FD - $5000 DK - $6100 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 31.78 DK - 32.82 This play is mostly fueled by Trae's potential absence, but has plenty of legs even if Trae plays. Huerter has been playing 36-42 minutes in close games, and while blowouts are always a risk for the terrible Hawks going up against a terrible Knicks team that also lost one of their best scorers certainly makes this a little bit more appealing. You can't play Huerter on DraftKings if Trae plays, but on FanDuel I think he's a great option either way. Lou Williams FD - $5400 DK - $6800 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD -...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 2/8/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 2/8/20 After a wild trade deadline on Thursday, this is one of the first slates with these new-look teams. The good news is that we don't have a whole lot of the trade participants on this slate and that should make it a little easier to figure it out. There is one day-game between the Bucks and Magic though and we'll go ahead and skip that since its not part of the main slate. That leaves us with eight games, so, let's go ahead and get into it. Point Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6400 DK - $7800Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 40.49 DK - 42.06 When Kyrie Irving is out, Dinwiddie is always one of the best options on the board. If you look at the first 32 starts that Dinwiddie made for Irving, he averaged 38.4 fantasy points per game. That's no surprise when you see that he led the team in usage rate (29 percent) and minutes played (35), as the focal point of this offense. While he's struggled in the last two games without him, a 32-game sample size is obviously way more reliable than a two-gamer. That recent slide has lowered his price to a number we can't overlook either, as Dinwiddie was $2,000 more on FanDuel in the midst of that expanded role.   Reggie Jackson FD - $6000 DK - $6600Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 33.39 DK - 34.89 Jackson has established himself as the Pistons go-to player. The reason for that is because Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose and Luke Kennard are all injured while Andre Drummond is now playing in Cleveland. Recently Jackson has led the team with 16 shots per game and 29 percent usage rate. He's averaged 29 fantasy points per game since his return from injury, after dropping a season-best 48.3 DraftKings points on Wednesday. The best part of all of this might be the matchup though, facing a Knicks team who sits 22nd in defensive efficiency.  Jamal Murray is coming off a 31-point gem in his most recent game and gets a good matchup against Phoenix here.  Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan FD - $7700 DK - $8100Opponent - SACProj Pts...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday, 2/7/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 2/7/20 The trade deadline is over and there were quite a few moves that will have DFS implications going forward over the course of the season. Unfortunately, most of the teams playing on this slate were relatively unaffected. But there’s still plenty to dive into on DraftKings and FanDuel. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kendrick Nunn FD - $4600 DK - $4800Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 28.88 DK - 29.56 Goran Dragic FD - $5300 DK - $5300Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 30.18 DK - 31.92 The Heat were major players at the trade deadline, adding Jae Crowder and Andre Iguodala from the Grizzlies which could poise them for a strong playoff run. But it’s unlikely those guys play on Friday and we have early news that Jimmy Butler is doubtful and Tyler Herro is out. That could mean a ton of minutes for both Nunn and Dragic in this game against the Kings. Last game, with Butler leaving early against the Clippers, Nunn led the team in shots (17) and he has a 23% usage rate with Butler off the court this season. Meanwhile, Dragic has a 28% usage rate when Jimmy is on the bench (he hasn’t missed a game this season) and could enter the starting lineup. I suspect he and Nunn control much of the offense and they have a good matchup against a Kings team ranked 20th in defensive efficiency. Neither Dragic or Nunn are priced correctly for the inevitable minutes and opportunity bumps coming on Friday. Both should see heavy ownership. Reggie Jackson FD - $5700 DK - $6100Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 31.54 DK - 33.13 The Pistons dumped Andre Drummond at the trade deadline for a bag of balls and not much else. Plus, Derrick Rose will sit Friday’s game out after not getting dealt at the deadline. The Pistons are a mess. But Jackson should see plenty of of run in this game, following a chalky night on Wednesday when he played 34 minutes, jacked up 24 shots and finished with a 25 point, nine assist, five rebound night against the Suns. This is a worse matchup against the Thunder for sure and...
