Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9900 DK - $9900Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 53.14 DK - 58.02 The Hawks have played in blowouts in two of the last three games (one in their favor, one not so much) leading to reduced minutes for Young in the short-term. That’s also led to the price stagnating and now he gets an awesome matchup against the Wizards in what projects to be a breakneck, up and down game. These are the fourth and sixth-fastest paced teams in the league this season and there’s a reason the total on this game is through the roof. Young is averaging just a hair under 30 points a game this season with nine assists and in closer games 37 to 38 minutes sure seems like the plan for the second-year volume shooter. I suspect Trae has higher ownership on this slate that could have a lot of cheaper value considering the injury news around some of the other teams. T.J. McConnell FD - $3800 DK - $4000Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 26.67 DK - 26.55 Aaron Holiday FD - $3700 DK - $4000Opponent - CHIProj Pts FD - 26.26 DK - 27.1 Malcolm Brogdon has already been labeled as doubtful for Friday’s game after leaving Wednesday’s game early with a knee issue. Combine that with Victor Oladipo having sat out the last couple of games and questionable for Friday as well. That could leave a great many guard minutes up for grabs for the Pacers against the Bulls. McConnell stepped in against the Bucks on Wednesday and played 30 minutes after Brogdon left the game. The former finished with 14 points, six assists and four rebounds along with a couple of steals. If he drew the start for Brogdon he’d be an excellent value play. Meanwhile, Holiday has been starting for Oladipo over the last couple of games for Oladipo and would be in line of the start again if the former sat again. Both guys are coming on the cheaper side and would make for a high floor stack in cash (relative to price) with the amount of minutes they could be playing. Shooting...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday 3/5/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday 3/5/20 After a big nine game slate on Wednesday, things have calmed down with a little four gamer for Thursday. While Wednesday's slate was categorized by an over-abundance of cheap value on Boston and Cleveland, Thursday is sort of the opposite. While the plays might not be as obvious, there still should be plenty of ways to get an edge, so let's take a look. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $7300 DK - $8600 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 42.67 DK - 44.14 The question of the night, as it has been ever since Fred VanVleet and Serge Ibaka have been sidelined, is whether the Raptors will still be shorthanded. If they are you can expect to see nearly unanimous ownership on Lowry and the other pieces in what is by far the best match-up on the slate in Golden State. On FanDuel Lowry's price is so negligent that you'll play him without a second thought regardless of the status of the other guys. You can't convince me that whoever maintains FD's pricing algorithm isn't on vacation right now. Shake Milton FD - $5400 DK - $6500 Opponent - SAC Proj Pts FD - 31.32 DK - 32.34 With Simmons and Embiid out indefinitely and Josh Richardson still in the concussion protocol, there are still plenty of minutes and shots to go around in Philadelphia. While some of the other pieces are getting expensive, there is some chance that Milton is just a flat out bargain right now. Yes, he was less than spectacular against the Lakers, but try not to forget that he was absolutely stunning in a similarly bad match-up in the game prior against the Clips. We may have been spoiled by him topping 50 fantasy points in that one, but I think the prior games of 30+ fantasy points are pretty likely here. On a short slate, I'll happily jam him in there against the second worst defense on the slate in Sacramento. Shooting Guard Norman Powell FD - $5500 DK - $6600 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 34.56 DK - 34.93 Powell's viability is totally dependent on Fred VanVleet's status. If FVV...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday, 3/4/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 3/4/20 This time of the year is crazy. There are so many injuries and a stupid amount of questionable decisions made by coaches. That causes mayhem in terms of DFS and we'll try our best to sort it out for you here. With that in mind, let's get into our favorite plays of the day!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10400 DK - $10900Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 58.92 DK - 63.41With some significant injury news around other teams on this slate, there's potentially going to be a lot of cheap value at other positions. And that lines up real well with being able to pay up for Luka Doncic on this slate. He gets a dream matchup against the Pelicans who run a super-fast pace and aren't all that adept on defense as evidenced by the 139 points the Timberwolves put up just last night. Luka's price is down some in the short term with the ankle injury causing him to miss a game and some lower fantasy outputs over the last week or so. But that's fine, it just makes him a pretty easy buy and the big money play to lock into cash games on both sites. Ja Morant FD - $6700 DK - $7200Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 38.31 DK - 39.42 Morant has established himself as the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year and he'll be going full force from here on out with Zion Williamson right on his tail. That's not the only motivation for Morant, as he's also trying to hold on to that eight-seed in the west too. That should lead to big usage and even bigger minutes which has already been on the rise because of the injuries to Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. That's evident when you see that Ja is averaging 38 DraftKings points per game over his last four fixtures. Not to mention, Brooklyn owns a 26th OPRK against opposing point guards according to DK.  Collin Sexton FD - $5700 DK - $6600Opponent - BOSProj Pts FD - 33.09 DK - 34.29 Sexton has quietly had a great season for the Cavs and it's hard to understand...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 3/3/20

Point Guard Shake Milton FD - $5700 DK - $6300Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 32 DK - 33.06 The Sixers have been through hell with injuries in the short term with them losing Ben Simmons (no timetable) and then Joel Embiid and now Josh Richardson will sit with a concussion. That’s meant losses in two of the last three but also led to the emergence of Shake Milton as a legit fantasy option. In the last three games Milton has been scoring machine averaging 29 points and five assists per game. He took 20 shots against the Clippers and that number could sustain considering Philly is really short on legit scoring options at this point. This is a bad matchup against the Lakers, but Milton isn’t priced up enough considering the uptick in usage and the Sixers’ woes. De'Aaron Fox FD - $7500 DK - $8000Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 41.7 DK - 42.06 The Kings have won five in a row and are still in the discussion (kind of) for a playoff berth in the Western Conference. On Tuesday they draw a fantastic matchup against Washington who rank as the second worst defensive efficiency in the league this season while also playing a top-six pace. Fox, unlike some other point guards is a little more scoring dependent but the pace-up matchup should lend itself to volume shooting. That being said, there is at least some risk here because the Kings haven’t pressed his minutes beyond 33 in the last two weeks. But he should have a high floor because of the context. If Fred VanVleet remains out then Kyle Lowry (FD 6900 DK 8100) is still in play for cash games. Shooting Guard Devin Booker FD - $7500 DK - $8300Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 42.29 DK - 44.6 The Suns are without Kelly Oubre and that’s led, in some part, to a ton of minutes in the short term for Booker who’s played 38 or more in four of the last five games. That being said, with defenses focusing a bit more on the Suns’ star the usage hasn’t been there in the way we would...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 3/1/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 3/1/20 Welcome to a night of Sunday DFS NBA action! It's a modest four game slate that's honestly a little bit nuts, so let's get right to it. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $7200 DK - $7700 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 41.96 DK - 42.16 Fox was a late scratch on Thursday, and a late add on Friday. Concerns about his abdomen issue appear to have been overblown, as he racked up 42.3 FanDuel points in 33 minutes of action against the Grizzlies. Well, his FanDuel price is still down from his injury, and point guard is pretty rough tonight. A great match-up with what's left of the Pistons is just the icing on the cake, and it's hard to imagine Fox not being in all my FanDuel lineups tonight. Kyle Lowry FD - $7500 DK - $8100 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 39.66 DK - 40.93 Point guard drops off very quickly after Fox, as far as our model is concerned. That said, if Fred VanVleet were to miss this one (he's currently questionable), Lowry would go from a solid play to a great one. With FVV and Ibaka out of the lineup against Charlotte, Lowry was 67% owned in cash and delivered 47.2 fantasy points. Taking VanVleet's ball handling off the court just leaves Lowry with almost all of the non-Siakam ball handling duties, and in those cases he's easily an $8k player. Even if the Raptors are healthy here, point guard is thin enough that Lowry should deliver a reasonably high floor in what Vegas sees as a five point game. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $9900 DK - $10400 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 50.75 DK - 52.34 Beal is just playing angry out there right now, and while the price has gone up some it probably still isn't fully adjusted for his absurd usage and time of possession right now. In his last five games Beal has averaged 29 shots a game - a 30% increase over his season averages - and he's paid his price handily in his last four. Tonight he gets the best match-up of...
