Before we get started, just note that Luka Doncic's status will determine a lot of where lineups are going to head today. If he's out, basically every remaining Maverick is in play from a DFS perspective. If he plays, you can't run them. You'll have to keep an eye out as it leads up to lineup lock. Point Guard Markelle Fultz FD - $5800 DK - $6500 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 37.77 DK - 38.01 Fultz has picked up right where he left off at the end of last season, helping us understand why Orlando was happy to pay the former number 1 overall pick handsomely. He's been a similar player in all but one way - he's shooting way more often. He's added 5 shots a game (a 50% increase!) in spite of playing just 2 more minutes per game, and has 8+ assists in each of the Magic's last two non-blowout affairs. While the Cleveland back-court is promising offensively, they still have significant defensive struggles, and Fultz looks like a great value to me here. Elfrid Payton FD - $5300 DK - $6000 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 34.08 DK - 35.8 Stacking the Atlanta game has been a winning strategy so far this season, so we'll at least consider keeping the ball rolling with the relevant Knicks today. Payton's minutes have been up and down, which is why his fantasy points per game don't look great, but in close games, he's been playing a very active 33+. He'll likely draw Trae Young here, which could lead to another 19/8/5 type night like he just put up against the Pacers. It's a little closer on DraftKings at the higher price point, but he gets a full green light from us on FanDuel. Keep an eye on Evan Fournier's status. He missed practice on Sunday, and if he doesn't suit up Michael Carter-Williams would be in play in spite of his limited production on 30+ minutes last game. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11400 DK - $11100 Opponent - DAL Proj Pts FD - 56.92 DK - 60.4 You'll likely have to pay up...

Point Guard Mike Conley FD - $6600 DK - $6900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 35.88 DK - 38.06 Conley has turned into the guy we hoped he'd be from the moment he joined the Jazz, contributing across multiple categories en route to being a great high floor mid-range point guard. He's shooting 3 more times a game, and making 7% more of the shots he takes. He's basically improved upon his last good year in Memphis, and I'm sure Jazz fans have to be delighted. The Spurs are building upon the up-tempo game they ran during the bubble, playing the 12th fastest pace this year. Conley is still too cheap for this new production, and I'll happily run him in cash games. Kyrie Irving FD - $9500 DK - $9000 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 51.18 DK - 53.67 Well, if you thought Durant joining the Nets was going to slow down Kyrie's usage, you are looking mistaken. Kyrie is shooting almost exactly the same number of shots as he was last year, with the big difference being that defenses can't just sell out to stop him anymore. He hasn't paid these prices just yet, but that should come as he finally puts together a game where he's not running terribly from the field and he plays his full run of minutes. And Washington? Yikes. They're rocking the league's 3rd fastest pace and 5th worst defensive efficiency. Kyrie is a great play in any format. Also considered: Steph Curry. It's basically a challenge play between him and Kyrie, but I'll lean into Kyrie on the basis of the match-up. Shooting Guard Paul George FD - $8000 DK - $8700 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 44.02 DK - 45.89 George's price is still being depressed by a number of weird games that saw him lose his minutes to start this season, but we know from the Clippers' three close games that he should be good for 36 minutes in close games. He's averaged 40 fantasy points a minute in 32 minutes a game this season, which you'd be happy with here. Phoenix has been an...

Point Guard De'Aaron Fox FD - $8000 DK - $9400Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 44.56 DK - 44.91 These guys played on Thursday evening and put up 241 combined. This should, once again, be a pace up, low defense matchup. Fox finished with 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds in his 35 minutes. In a rematch, that’s probably a low line. It’s worth it to note that he shot 9-23 from the field. That crazy usage should carry over in this matchup and it’s realistic to think the points tick up here. Fox is close to a lock in cash games on FanDuel where the price is kind of a joke. DraftKings is closer. Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7500 DK - $7400Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 41.55 DK - 43 Aaron Holiday FD - $3700 DK - $3800Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 24.16 DK - 24.43 With TJ Warren out of the Pacers’ mix for the foreseeable future, there’s usage to go around for this team. That’s well-timed with the matchup against the Knicks on Saturday. It didn’t totally bear out on Thursday against the Knicks with Brogdon putting up only 13 shots, but in general over the last year plus, Brogdon goes from a full-strength 24% usage to 27% when Warren is off the court. The price didn’t move all that much on the implied uptick in opportunity and though the Knicks have found some defensive identity this season, it’s hard to imagine it sustains with this personnel. Meanwhile, Holiday got the start for Warren on Thursday playing 22 minutes on the wing. He had some foul trouble and it was a blowout which led to only 22 minutes. But he still put up 12 points and two assists with some other stats around the fringes. It’s an unspectacular play, but he’s cheap which often fits a need on these kinds of slates. Shooting Guard Victor Oladipo FD - $7200 DK - $6700Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 35.83 DK - 37.33 With Warren out of the mix on Thursday, Oladpio put up 14 shots against the Cavs in 34 minutes. He put up his most...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 1/1/21 Welcome to 2021! Things can't get any worse than last year, so, things are already off to a good start. There's nothing better than sitting at home and watching basketball after a long New Year's Eve and we've got some great picks here to kick the year off right! We've got a plump 10-game slate ahead of us, so, let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Stephen Curry FD - $9900 DK - $9600 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 50.11 DK - 53.22 Curry is going to remain in these articles until he gets the $10,000 price tag he deserves. The reason we believe he's a five-figure player is his role, averaging 20 shots a game while leading the club with a 31.4 percent usage rate. Those are some of the highest usage numbers of his career and it's just a matter of time before he starts dropping 50-point games at ease. Facing off against Danian Lillard is a good way to start, with Lillard being one of the worst defensive point guards in the NBA. Steph has scored at least 42 DK points in seven-straight games against the Blazers en route to a 52-point average. Raul Neto FD - $4500 DK - $3400 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 4.53 DK - 4.47 With Russell Westbrook expected to sit in the second half of a back-to-back set, the Wizards are going to be all over this article. Neto is actually the direct beneficiary, starting at point guard for Russ. While he's relatively unproductive when Westbrook plays, Neto proved in his one start that he can go beast mode when given the opportunity. In fact, Raul collected 22 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals across 32 minutes of action in that rare start. That equates to 41 fantasy points which would be an absurd 12X value on DraftKings at this price tag. Obviously, 12X is one of the best rates you'll see all season. With Atlanta owning one of the worst defenses in the NBA, Kyrie Irving is an intriguing option. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $9500 DK - $9400 Opponent - MIN...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Thursday, 12/31/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Thursday, 12/31/20 This marks the final day of 2020! Good riddance! The good news is that basketball chugs along and we continue to grind out DFS profits. After a six-game slate on Wednesday, we're looking at a seven-game ledger here. We have no teams playing the second half of a back-to-back set and that makes things much easier on us. We'll give you a bunch of main slate plays today, and sprinkle in a few select plays from earlier slates as well. So, without further ado, let's get into it! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7700 DK - $7300 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 39.46 DK - 40.81 Brogdon is quietly one of the best all-around point guards in the NBA and people need to take notice of how good this kid truly is. What makes him so special are his stat-stuffing ways, averaging 20.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. That's led to him scoring at least 32 DraftKings points in all four fixtures this season and that's a heck of a floor from a player south of $8K. All of that pairs beautifully with this matchup, facing a Cleveland team that owned the worst defensive rating in the NBA last season. That was certainly evident when Brogdon averaged 45 DK points per game in three outings against them last year. Elfrid Payton FD - $5200 DK - $5900 Opponent - TOR Proj Pts FD - 38.46 DK - 38.13 Payton found his way into this article on Tuesday and we're going to keep going back to him until his price rises to where it should be. What kept it so low were two terrible games to start the year but scoring 33 and 43 DK points in his last two outings show just how good he can be. Much like Brogdon, Payton provides value through stat-stuffing and that gives him a pretty nice floor considering his shot is busted. We're talking about a dude who's collected 41 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists in those two games and he seems to always flirt with triple-doubles when given the minutes to do so. The best...
