Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets (All stats on the charts are since 2014) (Stats talked about in the write-up are this years stats) Starlin Castro FD 3200 DK 4400 Opponent - COL (Bettis) Park - @COLFD - 10.63 DK - 8.46 Starlin Castro isn't a guy you typically think of when you hear "home run" but there are a couple of things I like about the 26-year-old. 1. He is playing at Coors. We all know what happens and Coors and everyone has a chance to go yard -- so why not Castro? 2. His matchup against Chad Bettis. Bettis is one of those pitchers that has reverse splits. He's been solid against left-handed bats this season but has struggled big-time against right-handed bats. Let's just say righties own a .542 SLG and .382 wOBA. I know Castro doesn't have elite power, or beautiful splits against right-handed pitchers, but Bettis is awful vs. righties and a trip to Coors will allow Castro to showcase his power. (He's worth the $4,400 on DraftKings). Brandon Moss FD 3700 DK 4100 Opponent - HOU (McHugh) Park - @STLFD - 9.72 DK - 7.34 Brandon Moss has just been on fire! He has six dingers in his last ten contests, to go along with a .424 AVG. Not only has he been killing it, but he also draws a favorable matchup going up against right-handed pitcher Collin McHugh. McHugh has struggled against left-handed batters on the year. In 35 innings...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitcher Breakdown FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/14/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article but here we will look at other dudes to consider. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Note: We discussed Madison Bumgarnerand David Price in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. John Lackey FD 9900 DK 11300 Opponent - WSH (Gonzalez) Park - @WSHFD - 31.75 DK - 16.83 Madison Bumgarner seems to be the clear-cut top arm on tonight's slate, so I will go ahead and give you some tournament options. And the first guy on the list is John Lackey. At the age of 37, John Lackey is still putting in work! He is coming into tonight's contest sporting a 2.63 ERA that is backed up by a 2.98 FIP. He has also held opponents to a .197 AVG and owns a 27.1 K%! He is just pitching out of his mind. I guess some players really do get better with age. He will be pitching in spacious Nationals Park tonight, which should help the veteran out. I know pitching against Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy will scare a lot of DFS'ers away from Lackey, [but] he has been phenomenal, and the Nationals are in the middle of the pack against right-handed pitchers. He will be low-owned today, so go ahead and plug him in some tournament lineups. Jhoulys Chacin FD 6000 DK 7000 Opponent - MIN (Santana) Park - @LAAFD - 29.18 DK - 15 I have decided to change things a bit here. I will name a few "cheap" or "value play" guys that I see delivering a quality start and will allow you to pay up for a Coors stack or any stack of your choice. (Tournaments only please)...

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/14/16

Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/14/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other stacking targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article and pitching breakdown but here we will look at other dudes to consider. A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets N.Y. Yankees vs. Jorge De La Rosa (COL) The Yankees are going to be playing their next two contests at Coors, so go ahead and load up on some Yankees' bats for the next couple of days. I know they already play in a great hitters park out in Yankee Stadium, but the altitude and humidity at Colorado just makes the ball fly out of the bat, which will help these veterans out quite a bit. They will also be going up against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa. He is making his first start fresh out of the 15-day DL, so it could take some time for him to get the rust out of his arm. Before his stint to the DL, he had made nine starts and owned a 2.27 HR/9 rate and 5.64 FIP (ouch). The Yankees are actually one of the worse teams in the league against southpaws, but they will be playing at Coors and going up against De La Rosa, who struggled mightily before heading to the DL (he gave up over two homers per...

What We Know Personnel Cesar Ramos is getting the nod against the Athletics. He will be replacing Yu Darvish. And rumors are, Yu Darvish might be heading to the DL with shoulder and neck issues. Angel's superstar, Mike Trout left yesterday's contest with a right thumb contusion. He is currently listed as day-to-day. Jose Bautista is expected to return to the lineup tonight. He has been out since Thursday nursing his right quad. Ike Davis signed with the New York Yankees on Sunday and should get the majority of the starts against right-handed pitchers. Adrian Beltre sat out yet again on Sunday due to a strained left hamstring. He could be headed to the DL, but no word yet. Jurickson Profar is going to continue to handle third base until the veteran is back in the lineup. Mallex Smith will be hitting lead off tonight for the Braves. Edwin Encarnacion is out of the lineup on Monday. Justin Smoak will start at first base and Jose Bautista will be the DH. Maikel Franco is out of the lineup on Monday. Andres Blanco will hit 3rd and start in his place. Top Tournament Stack Tigers On the year, Shields owns a 4.96 FIP and 5.06 ERA. He was off to a great start, but it has not been so great in the month of June. He also owns a 1.56 HR/9 rate. He has had trouble keeping the ball inside the ballpark, and that is very dangerous against this powerful offense. "Big Game Shields" has not had a big game in his last two outings. It has actually been the complete opposite. He has not been able to get passed the third inning, and going up against a power-hitting Tigers squad will make things tough for him. With this game having a 9.5 run-total, you can expect the Tigers to do some damage. The Tigers we all know hit lefties extremely well, but they also...

And will be going over a few more options below. Zack Greinke FD 10500 DK 10300 Opponent - LAD (Bolsinger) Park - @ARIFD - 35.45 DK - 19.23 Wow, this is one ugly slate we got on our hands. Tonight is one of those nights I recommenced playing less than your usual bankroll and just cross your fingers. With that being said, the first guy I will go ahead and talk about is Zack Greinkie. Greinkie will be going up against his old team the L.A. Dodgers. Revenge game perhaps? If you're into narrative picks, then this is your top pitching option of the night! Greinkie was off to a bumpy start, but has picked it up as of late. He has delivered four quality starts in his last five outings, including a complete game shutout (in his last outing). He owns a 3.33 FIP to go along with a 1.17 WHIP. He sure has been good, but his 20.7 K% isn't the prettiest of things (for tournaments). He isn't a guy with huge upside, but I do think he is in play against a not so great offense in the Dodgers. He is in play for me tonight in all formats. P.S. He is probably my top arm of the night for cash games. Max against the Cubbies sure scares me, but he has a ton of upside as well. It's between these two guys and the rest is -- well -- scary. Carlos Carrasco FD 9400 DK 9800 Opponent - KC...
