We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock today. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the batting lineup changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Personnel J.D. Matinez is on the 15-day DL with an elbow injury. Stephen Moya was recalled to the big leagues and will get the majority of the starts in the outfield. Jose Bautista is also headed to the 15-day DL with a toe strain. Eziquiel Carrera will get the majority of the starts in right-field and will hit leadoff. Adonis Garcia was out of the lineup on Friday, but is still considered day-to-day with an ankle injury. Nick Martinez will get the nod today against the Cardinals. Wade Miley is headed to the 15-day DL with a shoulder injury. Adrain Sampson will take his place in the rotation. Robbie Grossman and Trevor Plouffe are not in the Twins' starting lineup. Top Tournament Stack Blue Jays Gallardo has only pitched in 18 innings this season, as he's coming off a shoulder injury, but he has not look well at all. He's only struken out 10% of the batters he has faced, while walking 8% of them. He is pitching to contact, which is never a good thing, especially when you will be going up against a powerful Jays' lineup. It's going to take some time for him to find his groove and be able to be an effective pitcher in the big leagues, but until then, go ahead and stack the Blue Jays! These guys put on a show last night (scored 13 runs), will be going up against a tired bullpen and a banged up pitcher. Everything favors the Jays' in this matchup; so don't think to hard and just stack against Gallardo.   The "Every Lineup" Guys Max Scherzer FD 11500 DK 13900 Opponent - SD (Rea) Park - @SDFD - 47.89 DK - 27.5 Max Scherzer is going up against the Padres. What more do I have to say? One of the most dominant pitchers in baseball will be going up against one of the worst offenses. This game...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets Carlos Santana FD 4000 DK 5400 Opponent - CHW (Shields) Park - @CLEFD - 11.3 DK - 8.6 James Shields is on the bump for the White Sox today, so that means I am going to stack against him and build my lineup around my man, Carlos Santana. I know big game Shields was a starter you would pretty much roster on your daily teams every time he was going out on that hill, but that isn't the case anymore. He has just been awful, and ever since he was traded to the White Sox, it has only gotten worst. With that being said, Santana and his .220 ISO against right-handed pitchers, is my first long ball target on the day. Besides Shields' horrific start to the year -- left-handed bats have crushed him the past couple of seasons. Since 2015, they own a .379 wOBA to go along with a .516 SLG. They are hitting for a very high average and a ton of power, so watch out for the Indians' lefties, especially Carlos Santana. Nolan Arenado FD 4100 DK 4700 Opponent - MIA (Chen) Park - @MIAFD - 10.48 DK - 8.12 Unfortunately this game will be played at spacious Marlins Park rather than Coors Field, but I still love Nolan Arenado. Arenado will be going up against southpaw Wei-Yin Chen. Right-handed hitters own a 1.69 HR/9 to go along with a .496 SLG against him, since 2015. As you...

Daily Fantasy MLB Pitcher Breakdown FanDuel and DraftKings- 6/18/16 Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Pitching Targets Early Slate Note: We discussed Steven Matz, Dallas Keuchel, Max Scherzer and Michael Pineda in the Main Article. And will be going over a few more options below. Zack Greinke FD 11000 DK 13000 Opponent - PHI (Eickhoff) Park - @PHIFD - 37.35 DK - 20.46 Zack Greinkie got off to a pretty rough start, but he's back! He is coming into this contest delivering four of his nine quality starts in the last month. During that span, he also owns a 1.13 ERA to go along with a 0.88 WHIP. Now that's the Greinkie we are all accustomed to seeing back in L.A.! I know his K% isn't exactly where you'd like it to be at 20%, especially with a hefty price tag, but he has been dominant and will be going up against a not-so-good Phillies offense. Go ahead and grab him for your DFS squads today. MainSlate Jon Lester FD 11400 DK 12900 Opponent - PIT (Niese) Park - @CHCFD - 41.18 DK - 22.68 If you're trying to get cute and fade Max Scherzer against the [Padres], then I recommend going with Jon Lester. Not only is he $1,000 cheaper on DraftKings and $100 cheaper on FanDuel (I would just pay the extra $100 on FanDuel), but he has been extremely dominant this season. He is coming into this contest sporting an amazing 1.89 ERA that is backed up by a 2.84 FIP. He also owns a stellar 20.5 K-BB%, which shows you the control and command he has in his pitches. The matchup isn't the best, as he will...

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Cleveland Indians vs. James Shields (CLE) James Shields on the road against a solid Cleveland Indians offense? Sign me up! It hurts me to say it, but James Shields just has just not looked great out there, so I'm going to stack against him. He is coming into this contest sporting an 8.2 K-BB%. His K percentage is under 20% and his walk percentage is all the way at 10%, which isn't a very good combination (looks at how bad he's been as of late, and that will show you part of the reason why he's been in this funk). The other problem James Shields has is the fact that opposing bats are hitting him hard. They own a 35.5% hard contact rate and 50.% medium contact rate, so they are getting to him and making the most of it. With his inabilities to punch guys out, with his control issues and with how hard they are hitting him this season -- is the reason why I will be stacking the Cleveland Indians (.317 wOBA T-10th in MLB and .171...

We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   Long Ball Targets Paul Goldschmidt FD 4500 DK 5300 Opponent - PHI (Morgan) Park - @PHIFD - 13 DK - 10.1 Paul Goldschmidt is one of the best hitters in the game and going up against southpaw Adam Morgan makes him a very appealing pickup tonight. Let's just say that Goldy owns a .448 wOBA and .235 ISO against southpaws, since 2015. He has just devoured lefties and going up against one that struggles against right-handed bats, makes this pickup even more intriguing. Since 2015, right-handed bats own a .511 SLG and .355 wOBA against Morgan. They have roughed him up quite a bit and I see Goldy doing the same thing tonight. He won't be playing at Chase Field, but Citizens Bank Park is also friendly to hitters. Look for Goldy and his 42.8% hard contact rate against lefties to put one in the stands tonight! Michael Saunders FD 3600 DK 5000 Opponent - BAL (Wright) Park - @BALFD - 10.64 DK - 8.26 Michael Saunders isn't a guy you typically think of when you hear "Blue Jays," but this kid has been spectacular this season. He is coming into this contest sporting a .386 wOBA, 143 wRC+ and .214 ISO against right-handed pitchers. And guess what -- he will be going up against a not-so-good righty in Mike Wright. Mike Wright has only had three good starts this year and the rest -- well have just been awful. He is coming into...
