Daily Fantasy NFL Football Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings, and DraftPot - Week 10 Editor's note: Get ready for Raybon's insightful article on NFL's week 10! He's done an amazing job breaking down the top plays of the week, but obviously, he could never include every single great play. If you want point projections for individual players? Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks. Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft. Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial I was going to write a detailed analysis of why you shouldn’t ignore RB-WR stacks, or other negative correlations. But in light of the recent industry news, I’ll sum it up quickly: RB-WR and other negatively correlated same-team stacks shouldn’t be avoided in tournaments provided each player is a good value independent of the other. When a RB or WR gains yardage, it keeps the offense on the field and creates a synergistic effect where both players have more opportunities to rack up volume and score TDs, which is what happened with DeAngelo Williams and Antonio Brown in Week 9. Now, as you probably know, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman declared Tuesday that daily fantasy sports constitute illegal gambling in the state and ordered DraftKings and FanDuel to stop running games in the state. I’m a New Yorker. Even if you’re not, your state could be next. Please help support daily gamers in New York, and the entire DFS industry, by signing this petition: http://www.fantasysportsforall.com/ Thank you. Hopefully we can all continue to play the game we love. QUARTERBACKS Tom Brady - FD 9100 DK 8600 Opponent- NYG The overall fantasy QB1, Brady travels to the Meadowlands to take on a Giants defense allowing the second-most passing yards per game in the NFL (308). Brady himself is third in the league in passing yards per game (338.6). The Patriots team total is hovering around 31, and Brady has been in on 77 percent of the Patriots offensive touchdowns this season. Aaron Rodgers - FD 9200 DK 7500 Opponent- DET With Randall Cobb (shoulder) and Davante Adams (ankle) appearing to be over nagging early-season injuries, now makes a good time to buy in on Rodgers against a Lions defense ranked in the bottom-five in terms of fantasy points per game allowed to QBs. Rodgers’ price is down $1,100 on DraftKings and $500 on FanDuel from when the season began. The Packers have a Vegas implied total of 29.5, and Rodgers has accounted for 83 percent of Packers offensive TDs this season. Blake Bortles - FD 7800 DK 5600 Opponent- BAL...

Pts - 47 DK Proj. Pts - 48.65 On the 2nd night of a back to back, and the 3rd game in 4 nights, one has to imagine that the Thunder are smart enough to give Durant a little room to catch his breath. An extra minute or three before coming back in, an earlier exit in the third - stuff like that. And the thing is? Our projection system thinks you can probably play Westbrook here even if that isn't the case. Even with Durant playing full minutes, Westbrook has had a ridiculous 40% usage rate through his first 84 minutes on the season. And he's still doing the rest of his God-mode stuff, like wrestling rebounds away from guys twice his size, clogging passing lanes, and so on. Meanwhile, Houston has been an absolute mess in all phases of the game, and a back-court of Harden and Lawson is a lot less intimidating for opposing guards than the Beverley/Harden duo the Rockets featured last season. You're obviously paying up here, put even with that caveat, I think you can justify playing Westbrook in every format. Mo Williams - FD 5500 DK 5300 Opponent - PHI FD Proj. Pts - 28.2 DK Proj. Pts - 30.46 It's a risk to play Williams when you look at how his minutes have taken a hit in the Cavs' recent two blow-outs, but on a short slate like this, the reward may well be worth it. Williams played 37 minutes in their opener against the Bulls, and while you might not be able to lock him in for 37 a game going...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 10/20/15

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 10/20/15 Another night of playoff baseball, another night of... pretty darned similar picks. Sorry, there just isn't a lot we can do with the same teams playing the same opponents in pretty much the same ballparks. There will be a few slight differences, though. Enjoy! If you're new to the playoff picks, I'll be giving you one play per position to whet your appetite. You can also grab a free trial of the projection system that makes these picks possible. Your free trial also includes access to our NFL and NHL tools - so get started today! Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Jacob deGrom - FD 10600 DK 11600 Opponent- CHC (Hendricks) R Park- @Nym Kyle Hendricks - FD 7700 DK 8800 Opponent- NYM (DeGrom) R Park- @Nym You're picking between National League pitchers in this one, and each has a little bit of his own flavor to offer. DeGrom is a legit #1 starter, and facing the Cubs makes him a high risk, but very high reward proposition. DeGrom's 9.66 K/9 were 9th in the league among qualified starters, and it led to him having an MLB 7th best 2.92 xFIP as well. The Cubs, for their part, had the very highest strike-out rate in the majors (24%!) against right handed pitching this season, and were a highly volatile 14th best in the majors in terms of wOBA. For cash games, DeGrom represents a nice way to get in a big chunk of salary at a pretty reasonable price. In the other dugout, though, Kyle Hendricks is looking like a pretty intriguing tournament option. He's way cheaper the DeGrom, and the Mets were in the bottom third of the league when it comes to wOBA against right handed pitching. Hendricks is also probably underrated by the main stream media out there - his 8.35 K/9, good control, and well above average ground-ball rate make up a fine daily fantasy package. He'll also save you a ton, letting you play some significantly more qualified hitters.   Editor's Note: With these two game slates you are going to see a lot of repeat plays. There's no way to avoid it and the narratives don't change too much as long as the prices stay put. So please don't hate on the repeats here. There are only so many words. Catchers Salvador Perez - FD 2400 DK 3300 Opponent- Tor (Dickey) R Park- @Tor He went 0-4 in the last game, and he's looking a little banged up. But what Doug wrote a few days ago still holds true: With some of the plays today you'll see...

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 10/13/15

Daily Fantasy MLB Baseball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Starsdraft 10/13/15 Another super-duper-short slate, but I know you all are like me - just trying to wring out the last little bits of the daily fantasy baseball season. Picture me giving you the look a bartender gives an alcoholic who has just come in out of a hurricane at 11pm, looking for his usual seat at the bar. I'm sighing, waving you over to your stool, and pouring your usual without you asking for it. If you're new to the playoff picks, I'll be giving you one play per position to whet your appetite. You can also grab a free trial of the projection system that makes these picks possible. Your free trial also includes access to our NFL and NHL tools - so get started today! Click here for a free 3 Day Free Trial Pitchers Clayton Kershaw - FD 12700 DK 14400 Matz L Park- @Lad I imagine you might have seen this coming. Even at these ungodly salaries, our projection system likes Kershaw as the best bang for your buck in 50/50s and double-ups tomorrow. Is it any surprise? The guy's putting up vintage Bob Gibson numbers, and the Mets have a decent handful of guys who are seriously terrible against left handed pitching. The Metropolitans got to him in game 1, and this is short rest and all, but if you want safety on the shortest of slates, you really ought not to look elsewhere. Edited to add: I just talked to Doug, who says the "not clutch" narrative is going to reduce Kershaw's ownership percentage tonight. If that's miraculously the case, then he'll probably just be a great play regardless. If you buy in to 5 game sample sizes or whatever, this daily fantasy sports thing isn't going to go well for you. Lance Lynn - FD 8400 DK 7500 Opponent- Chc (Hammel) R Park- @Stl We've gotten eaten for lunch recommending Cards pitchers against the Cubs so far, but by golly, it's an awful short sample size. Lynn's a strike-out pitcher (8.71 career K/9) with control issues, which makes him the perfect feast or famine start for big tourneys today. When he's good, he can put up gaudy numbers. When he's less than great, he can get absolutely wrecked. The Cubs have been playing the role of the wrecking ball in this short series so far, but let's not forget that this is the same team that put up an historic 24% k rate against right handed pitching in 2015. You can't call it a sure thing, but with the world honing in on Kershaw today, it certainly makes for an interesting gamble....
