A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there! Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good. Stack Targets Milwaukee Brewers vs.Dan Straily (CIN) The Brewers put on quite a show last night at Cincinnati scoring 9 runs and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it again today! Not only will they be playing at one of the friendliest parks to hitters (Great American Ballpark), but they also draw up a beautiful matchup against right-hander, Dan Straily. Dan Straily is another guy in the Reds' rotation that has struggled this season. He is coming into this contest sporting a 4.35 ERA to go along with a 5.11 xFIP. His peripherals aren't good and what stood out to me the most was his walk percentage. He's walking over 10% of batters that go up against him, so look for the Brewers to have plenty of opportunities to score in this contest. Baltimore Orioles vs. Jake Odorizzi(TB) Let's be honest -- Odorizzi has not been that good this season. He's coming into this contest with 4.47 ERA that is backed up by a 4.37 xFIP. He's been getting hit hard (36.0% hard contact rate) and going up against an Orioles' squad...

We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article but here we will look at guys that have the best chances to hit one into the seats! Let us know what you think, comment below! Now’s your chance to get DFSR Pro with MLB Optimal Lineups, Projections and Player Cards. Or try a free trial of our base package with projections for every player. A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!   Lefty Long Ball Target Carlos Gonzalez FD 3500 DK 4300 Opponent - ATL (Foltynewicz) Park - @ATLFD - 11.71 DK - 8.99 Who cares if this game isn't at Coors Field! Carlos Gonzalez has one of the prettiest swings in the game today and I'll be all over him. He will be going up against right-hander, Mike Foltynewicz. Don't know Mike? Let's just say lefties devour him every time he steps foot on that mound. They own a whooping .384 wOBA to go along with a .618 SLG this season. We all know the type of power Gonzalez has, so go ahead and roster him into your lineups tonight. You won't regret it! Righty Long Ball Target Ryan Braun FD 3700 DK 4800 Opponent - CIN (Young) Park - @CINFD - 11.1 DK - 8.91 My righty dong call of the day belongs to -- Ryan Braun. He will be going up against John Lamb today, which provides him with a beautiful matchup. On the year, righties own a .370 wOBA and have hit 10 homers against Lamb this season. They have done some damage against him, so what better person to roster on this Brewers' squad than, Mr.Braun. He owns a .243 ISO and .411 wOBA against southpaws this season, so watch out for the 32-year-old tonight. And playing at Great American (Small)Park will certainly help him out! So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end...

Daily Fantasy Baseball News and Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 7/16/16 Welcome to the daily MLB updates and news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it! Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock today. By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the batting lineup changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below! START YOUR FREE TRIAL! What We Know Personnel Brock Holt and Travis Shaw will be getingt a breather in today's contest. Shin-Soo Choo will sit out of today's contest as well with back issues. Tommy La Stella will hit leadoff for the Cubs today.. Brandon Phillips left Friday's game with a calf injury. We can consider him day-to-day for now. Travis Shaw left Wednesday's game with a left foot contusion. He is considered day-to-day for now. Ketel Marte is considered day-to-day with an ankle sprain. Daniel Murphy is dealing with hamstring issues. Consider him day-to-day for now. Top Tournament Stack Yankees This Yankees-Red Sox contest sure is going to be a fun with a projected run total of 9.5, so go ahead and get some exposure to this game. I know people will be all over Boston, but why not give the Yankees a shot? I know their offense is not as good as Boston's offense, but they have a beautiful matchup. They will be going up against the 23-year-old southpaw, Eduardo Rodriguez. I know the Sox' think highly of this kid, but he just has not been able to put it together so far this season. He is coming into this contest sporting an 8.59 ERA to go along with a 6.96 FIP (YIKES). Not only will the Yankees be going up against a guy with an ERA over eight, but hitters own a 35.7% hard contact rate and 47.7 FB%. Pitching at Yankees Park certainly won't help him out in this contest, so look for them to put some runs on the board.   The "Every Lineup" Guy Carlos Gonzalez FD 3500 DK 4300 Opponent - ATL (Foltynewicz) Park - @ATLFD - 11.71 DK - 8.99 Although this game doesn't take place at Coors, you can go ahead and get exposure to the Rockies' left-handed bats.. My favorite of them all is of course, Carlos Gonzalez. Since 2013, Cargo owns a .403 wOBA to go along...

What We Know Personnel Matt Carpenter suffered an oblique strain last night and will likely hit the shelf. Look for Kolten Wong and Jedd Gyrko to replace him on the diamond. Jean Segure was pulled out of last night's game with bruised triceps and is considered day-to-day as of now. Steve Clevenger is heading to the 60-day DL with a hand injury. Jemile Weeks is heading to the 60-day DL with a hamstring injury. Travis Shaw left Wednesday's game with a left foot contusion. He is considered day-to-day for now. Curt Casali suffered a head injury in yesterday's contest and is considered day-to-day as of now. Brandon Moss is heading to the 15-day DL with an ankle sprain. Randal Grichuk will get another opportunity in the big leagues Marco Estrada is placed on the 15-day DL with a back injury. Tajuan Walker is heading to the 15-day DL with a foot injurt. Matt Harvey is heading to the 15-day DL with shoulder issues. Top Tournament Stacks Rockies/Phillies Welcome back into our lives, Coors! We don't have a lot of great options on the bump today, but we do have a whole lot of stacks to attack! With that being said, we will be able to pay up for some bats tonight and what better stacks to grab on your roster than the Phillies and Rockies? Not only will this game be played at Coors, but it also has a 12.5 run total. Both pitchers on the mound (Chad Bettis and Adam Morgan) have struggled this season, so look for Coors Field to have some fireworks of their own tonight. Tigers Since 2015, Drew Hutchison has struggled mightily. He owns a 5.56 ERA to go along with a 4.52 FIP, which shows us that he's not a very good pitcher. The other thing that will hurt him in this contest is pitching at home. I know pitching at home is supposed to help a pitcher,...
