Quicken Loans National Robert Trent Jones Golf Club - Gainsville, VA Par 71, 7,385 Yards The RBC Canadian Open has wrapped up and the Canadian drought continues. David Hearn held the lead going into Sunday but could only muster an even par round to finish two strokes back of winner Jason Day. Another Canadian, Adam Hadwin, shot a 66 on Sunday to finish T7 for the week. As a Canadian myself, I was thrilled to see two guys in the top 10. As for Jason Day, it was clear he quickly shook off the missed putt at the Open Championship in Scotland. He had a 21 foot putt on 18 to get to -17 and take the clubhouse lead and put it right in the middle of the cup. Going into the PGA Championship, Day will definitely be one of the favorites. Now onto this week. The PGA Tour travels to Gainsville, Virginia this week for the Quicken Loans National at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. This will be the first time the PGA Tour has visited this course for a stroke play event. The course has hosted the Presidents Cup four times(2005,2000,1996,1994) but not many of the players in the field played those events. I have highlighted the records of those who played the 2005 event in my cheatsheet this week. As there will be no course history to look at I have provided the Quicken Loans National results for each player over the past five years. It will give us a feel for what players get up for this tournament. The course has 11 Par 4's, three Par 5's, and four Par 3's. Six of the Par 4 holes are 450+ yards with the longest stretching to 500 yards. I will be looking closely at Par 4 Performance this week as well as Birdie or Better % from 175-200 Yards. There will be a lot of approaches on the par 4's from that distance and combine that with the Par 3 holes that are 175,190,200,210 yards in length. As for other stats, I will be looking at Strokes Gained:...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks and Lineups – Travelers Championship

Travelers Championship TPC River Highlands - Cromwell, CT Par 70 - 6841 Yards The US Open almost carried over until Monday where we could have seen an 18 hole playoff between Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth. I might of had to take the entire day off for that one. For a brief moment Dustin Johnson had a 13 foot Eagle putt for the win after an incredible approach shot on the Par 5, 18th hole. He missed the putt leaving himself a 6 footer to send the tournament into a playoff. He missed that putt as well. The first time DJ has 3 putted inside 15 feet all year. What a time to make such a mistake. On the positive side of things, Jordan Speith took home his second consecutive Major Title and became only the 6th player in history to win both the Masters and US Open in the same year. This kid just never gives up and pushes himself on every shot. It was really fun to watch the closing 9 holes even though the course and USGA took heavy criticism during the week. I can understand the players complaints on the greens. They were awful. Most of the time it looked like plinko to try and find the hole. I have never seen so many guys 3 putt on tour before. As for the course overall I thought it was fun to watch players navigate through 4 days of such a challenging course. Every shot required great thought and planning to avoid danger and setup the next shot. It required amazing mental focus to stay upbeat when things start to take a turn for the worst. All in all another successful Major Championship which saw the best players in the world rise to the top. The Millionaire Maker saw another single entry take down the top prize. That is now 2 for 2 and should definitely help get some more new people playing DFS PGA when they know it doesn't require hundreds of lineups to compete in these tournaments. It was definitely a weird week when it came to scoring though. I had multiple lineups with 6...
Draftkings Daily PGA Picks – U.S. Open

U.S. Open Chambers Bay Golf Club - University Place, WA Par 70 - Rd. 1/3 - 7769 Yards Rd. 2/4 - 7792 Yards The Fedex St. Jude Classic wrapped up yesterday with Fabian Gomez taking home the giant cheque for $1.08 Million. He went into the final round tied with Greg Owen but played very smart and consistent throughout Sunday to win by four. As for my picks, they didn't fair as well as Fabian. The week started off poorly when, after his first 9 holes, Dustin Johnson withdrew. Ended up hitting 50% of the picks. The cash game lineup I proved in the cheatsheet scored 419 points and easily cashed in all 50/50's and head to heads I played. Overall it was another profitable weekend but we are still looking for that big payday! Good week to hit that big payday as the U.S. Open has finally arrived. This year Chambers Bay Golf Club will host the 115th U.S. Open Championship. This years U.S. Open is going to be like no other in the past. The course sets up more like a British Open with its wide rolling fairways, dunes throughout, thick fescue roughs, and large undulating greens. With the course setup like a links course it can play dramatically tougher if the wind should pick up. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and is situated in an old gravel and sand mine. The course opened in 2007 and within 8 months was awarded the 2010 U.S. Amateur and the 2015 U.S. Open. Unlike almost any other Strokes Play Event on tour this U.S. Open will have two holes that alternate par values and yardages throughout the tournament. Hole 1 will be a Par 4(496 yards) on Days 1 & 3 and a Par 5(598 yards) on Days 2 & 4. Hole 18 will be a Par 5(604 yards) on Days 1 & 3 and a Par 4(525 yards) on Days 2 & 4. When looking at stats to target for this tournament there are a few I feel are more important than others. First of...
Dratkings Daily PGA Picks and Lineups – Fedex St. Jude Classic
Fedex St. Jude Classic DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. Fedex St. Jude Classic TPC Southwind - Memphis, TN Par 70, 7239 Yards Welcome back to another week of Daily Fantasy PGA Tour Golf. Last week we finished up with another positive week with 9 out of 11 picks making the cut to go along with 4 Top 10's, 6 Top 20's, & 8 golfers finishing T26 or better. As far as cash games go, things have been cruising along nicely. Still waiting to find that GPP Glory and hopefully it will be the US Open Millionaire Maker on Draftkings. Not asking for much. Just a little bankroll booster. Once again I have forgot until now to get in some satellites. Been a crazy couple months with work and June snuck up on me. There are satellites running across all sports to get into the Millionaire Maker so be sure to enter a few of your lineups in them to get in to the big dance cheap. The PGA Tour and the ST. Jude Classic return to TPC Southwind for a 27th time. The course was built in the Memphis Countryside and has many natural lakes, streams and ponds incorporated into the course. The Par 3 11th hole is very similar to the the 17th at TPC Sawgrass as it is a short Par 3 shot to an Island green. The course itself is quite nice. The tournament, however, is a different story. It lacks top talent as its timing isn't great sandwiched between the Memorial and 2 weeks prior to the US Open. The top names that do show up are looking to fine tune their games for the US Open while some others are still looking to move up inside the Top 60 in the world to gain entry(Bowditch/Donald). The fairways at Southwind are very tough to hit even for an accuracy player so the long hitter will have an advantage as both players will be hitting from the rough 50% or more of the time. This then correlates to looking for guys who are highly ranked in GIR other than fairway. With the course being a Par 70 there are only 2 Par 5's so I will be...
Draftkings Daily PGA Picks – The Memorial Tournament
The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Muirfield Village Golf Club - Dublin, OH Par 72, 7392 Yards Back for another week of Daily Fantasy Golf and coming off another successful week at the Byron Nelson(8/10 cuts made, 4 Top 10's, 6 of the 8 who made cut finished inside T22). Steven Bowditch opened on Thursday with a 62 and capped his win with a 64 on Sunday. He won by 4 strokes and played terrific throughout the tournament. The tournament was delayed due to rain and the 14th hole which started out as a Par 4 on Thursday, finished as a Par 3, 100 Yarder for the remaining 3 days due to the fairway under water. Overall, a very odd week ending in a longshot winner. Nice to see, even nicer if he was in my lineups. I can assure you there won't be a longshot winner this week. Unlike last week's no show of top talent, this week has 15 of the worlds top 25 in the field for the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide. The course is Muirfield Village Golf Club built by Jack Nicklaus and was opened in 1974. It is the only venue to host all 3 Team Match Play Championships(Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup, Presidents Cup). The course has been annually ranked as a Top 20 course in America and Top 50 in the world. It presents a tough test for the players in many areas. First, a player must be accurate off the tee as the fairways are narrow and getting a GIR from rough is quite tough as the greens are guarded by water and sand throughout the course. The greens are average size but extremely fast. It will be important to not only hit the green but get it close to have shots at birdies. Proximity will be more important than GIR this week. If you are not hitting the greens in regulation Scrambling will become crucial to save pars and not give strokes back on the tough holes. When looking at the course setup there is 4 Par 3's(184-200 yards), 10 Par 4's(363-484 yards), and 4 Par 5's(527-567 yards). The wining score last year was -13 which is about average over the past 5-6 years. I will also be looking at scoring average overall this week as it takes a really good player to win here at Jack's Place. Below are all the...
