It was just another accomplishment achieved by 2015 player of the year Jordan Spieth. He picked up 5 wins including the first two majors(Masters & US Open), T4 at the Open Championship, and 2nd at the PGA Championship. Jason Day, who won the PGA Championship, battled Spieth for the player of year and Fedex Cup Championship right up until the Tour Championship. It was Spieth who showed up to win at East Lake by 4 strokes and take home the $10,000,000 prize. It might have been because I paid more attention to the PGA Tour and watched more golf this year than ever before in my life but the excitement surrounding the up and coming talent seems to be reaching new levels. The rookie crop gave us Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Carlos Ortiz, Adam Hadwin, Daniel Berger to name a few. This season's rookies have a tall order following up 2015 rookies but players like Emiliano Grillo, Patton Kizzire, and Micheal Kim will definitely be fun to watch and have a good shot at early success on the PGA Tour. It will all begin this Thursday at the Frys.com Open. The 2015/2016 PGA Tour season will kick this week in Napa, California for the Frys.com Open. The course hosting will be Silverado Country Club(North Course). This will be the second year this course has hosted the Frys.com open so we don't have much data to go off of this week. The course has tree lined fairways with bunkers and water also used as a defense. When looking at last years results you notice that driving accuracy was not a key stat with many of the top golfers below average for the week. Distance on the other hand was key as the top of the leaderboard was full of golfers who drove it 295+ yards off the tee. The other...

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Tour Championship East Lake Golf Club - Atlanta, GA Par 70, 7,307 Yards The BMW Championship wrapped up Sunday afternoon with Jason Day winning in dominating fashion. He played all four rounds under 70 and never really had much of a push from the rest of the field. The hit just over 75% of greens in regulation and gained over a stroke on the field putting for the week. He is on a tremendous run of elite golf at the moment and was rewarded with not only another win but Jason also took over the #1 spot in the Official World Golf Rankings. He does, however, have one more accomplishment to take care of this week. Win the Tour Championship and claim the Fedex Cup and the $10,000,000 prize. If you plan to fade him this week, you might be the only one in the world doing so. The Tour Championship is finally upon us and we will get to see a champion crowned this Sunday afternoon. The points have reset prior to the start of the Tour Championship and is setup so that any golfer in the top 5 in the rankings who wins this week will claim the Fedex Cup. There is a scenario, however, which will allow any of the 30 remaining golfers to win the Fedex Cup but the lower you are ranked the harder it will be. For instance, the 30th ranked golfer would need the leader(Day) to finish in the bottom two this week while winning the tournament themselves. A tall task considering how Day has been playing. When looking back, the last five Fedex Cup Champions have also won the year end Tour Championship tournament. It makes for an exciting final tournament with all the scenarios available and will be a great display of golf in the final week of the season. East Lake Golf Club was once home to the Atlanta Athletic Club and dates all the way back to 1908. It is probably most famous for being the childhood golf course of...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, Victiv, & Fantasy Feud – Deutsche Bank Championship
DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. If you are new to DraftKings PGA DFS be sure to click on the banner below. Want to see how these picks and more fit into lineups for The Deutsche Bank Championship? Chris is selling lineups plus a cheatsheet for only $5. He covers 3 DraftKings, 1 Victiv and 1 Fantasy Feud lineup. Just scroll to the bottom of the picks. This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership. Deutsche Bank Championship TPC Boston - Norton, MA Par 71, 7,214 Yards Jason Day took over the Fedex Cup points lead after a 6 stroke win at the Barclays last weekend. Day played very well in picking up his third win in four events including the PGA Championship and his first major. With the elite field at the Barclays Day was still able to pull away on Sunday, birdieing five of the final nice holes. The favorite going into the tournament, Jordan Spieth, failed to make the cut and struggled mightily but only fell one spot behind Day in the standings due to his gigantic lead going in. Both Day and Spieth will have a shot at taking over #1 in the world this weekend with a win. Not an easy task as Rory(Current #1) will be back to try climb up the Fedex Cup points and stay at #1 in the world. Either way it will make for an exciting weekend in round 2 of the playoffs. On to next week! The 2nd round of the PGA Tour Fedex Cup playoffs will be the Deutsche Bank Championship. Unlike the Barclays rotating course schedule, the Deutsche Bank Championship has been played at TPC Boston since 2003 when the Fedex Cup Playoffs started. The course is a Par 71, 7214 Yard test for the final 100 players in the race for the Fedex Cup. Come Sunday afternoon, only the top 70 players in the standings will move on to BMW Championship. When looking back at previous Deutsche Bank leaderboards the one thing that sticks out is the frequency of the elite players in the game. The final score usually ranges between -15 and -20 so scoring will be essential again this week. The course has three Par 5's and two of them will be easily approachable in two for most of the field. To contend this week golfers will have to go -2 to -4 each day on these holes. There are also a number of shorter par 4 holes and two of them are driveable by most of the field. I will...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, Victiv, & Fantasy Feud – The Barclays
DFSR is proud to bring you our newest contributor Chris Durell. He'll be bringing weekly PGA picks, analysis and breakdowns to help you cash on DraftKings. The Barclays Plainfield Country Club - Edison, NJ Par 72, 7,091 Yards Davis Love III won the Wyndham Championship on Sunday to secure his spot in the Fedex Cup playoffs. He came into the tournament in 186th in the standings and with the win moved to 76th in the standings and inside the top 100 cutline which will come after the Barclays this weekend. Four other players broke the bubble and played their way into the first playoff event at the Barclays. Jason Gore, with his 2nd place finish, moved from 166th in the standings to 98th. The other three to play their way in were Jonas Blixt(135th - 121st), Camillo Villegas(129th - 123rd), and Ryo Ishikawa(130th - 124th). Overall, it was an exciting event this past weekend. Tiger Woods had his best finish in two years and was a final round away from contending for another win. The crowds were huge throughout the entire weekend and Tiger playing like Tiger is only a good thing for the game. He didn't make the Fedex Cup playoffs but ended his season on a high note after a season of lows. This week the PGA Tour heads to Plainfield Country Club for the first of four playoff events in the race for the Fedex Cup and 10 million dollars. The top 125 golfers in the Fedex Cup standings have made it to the playoffs but not all will be teeing it up this weekend at the Barclays(Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia, & Louis Oosthuisen most notably). The top 100 in the standings following this tournament will advance to the the Deutsche Bank Championship next week. From there the top 70 will advance to the BMW Championship and from there the top 30 advance to the Tour Championship at East Lake. The cutline for this tournament will still be top 70 and ties. The main course at Plainfield Country Club was originally designed by Donald Ross back in 1916. During the past 10 years architect Gil Hanse has lead some massive changes to the course including the removal of over 1200 trees, additions of bunkers lost years ago,...
Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings, Victiv, & Fantasy Feud – WGC Bridgestone Invitational

This is a separate service than our traditional monthly membership. WGC Bridgestone Invitational Firestone Country Club(South Course) - Akron, OH Par 70, 7,400 Yards Yards This week the PGA Tour will head to the Firestone Country Club for the World Golf Championship - Bridgestone Invitational. The top 70 golfers in the world plus invites will compete against one another for a shot at winning a WGC event that Tiger Woods has dominated over the years. The players won't have to worry about Tiger this year as he will not be playing. Forget about Tiger, there are so many golfers under 30 years old right now who are competing week in and week out. It makes for exciting golf and great finishes almost ever tournament. Before this year I have never paid this much attention to every tournament each week as I have this year now that I am writing about it. This is due to the massively growing DFS industry. It is a great time to be a golf and sports fan in general. Ok, on to the course this week. Firestone Country Club has been home to the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in 16 of the 17 years it has been around. The course was opened in 1929 and designed by Bert Way. It was redesigned in 1959 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and became the course it is today with the help of some Jack Nicklaus tweaks along the way. The course is a Par 70, 7400 yard test for the golfers. It has two Par 5's(526/667 yards), four Par 3's(200/219/180/221 Yards) and 12 Par 4's(Between 399 & 394 Yards). To make it to the top of the leaderboard the players will have to excel on the Par 4 holes. With 8 of the 12 Par 4's 442+ Yards, driving distance will be a factor to have a decent approach at the greens. Not only is distance important, but accuracy will be as well with the rough not as friendly as most and will definitely penalize those who land in there on their first shot. With the greens being very fast not only will Greens in Regulation be important but Proximity...
