This dude is leading the NBA with 64 DraftKings points per game, scoring at least 52 fantasy points in all but one game this year. That's no surprise when looking at his role, leading the league with a 38 percent usage rate. He's going to play 35-40 minutes, take 20-25 shots and handle the ball on every possession. That makes him impossible to fade against Houston, who rank 28th in points allowed and 29th in defensive efficiency. They're also surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing PGs, which was on full display when Doncic dropped 60-plus fantasy points in both of their meetings last season. Jamal Murray FD - $6400 DK - $6500 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 32.3 DK - 33.41 Doncic is the best pure points play on the board, but Murray is our favorite per-dollar play out there. The Nuggets lost Nikola Jokic to dreaded COVID protocols, and it will force the rest of this offense to step up. Murray is the primary benefactor, leading the team with a 39 percent usage rate when Joker is laughing it up on the bench. The simple fact is, Denver needs to make up 35 minutes, 15-20 shots, and primary ball-handling duties in addition to Jokic's 30-point triple-double averages. Murray should do most of that, which is impressive since he's scored at least 32 DraftKings points in six of his last seven games. We also don't mind that the Knicks own a 25th OPRK against opposing point guards, either. Monte Morris (FD $5300 DK $5200) has at least 28 DK points in B2B games and shouldn't be this cheap as Washington's starting point guard. De'Aaron Fox FD - $8800 DK - $8800Opponent - BKNProj Pts FD - 42.92 DK - 45.97 De’Aaron Fox is having his best season on the statistics front, scoring 25.5 points per game on 55% shooting, getting better from beyond the arc at 38% on more than five attempts. It’s been a nice boost for the point guard and the Kings have won six of the last seven games he’s played. Now he’ll get the Nets who have, somewhat surprisingly been decent on defense this season, ranked fourth in efficiency at that end of the court. But I like Fox’s DraftKings price at sub-$9K and he’s in a value spot for sure. Mike Conley FD - $5600 DK - $5600Opponent - NYProj Pts FD - 30.3 DK - 33.06 The Jazz are having one of the truly surprising seasons we’ve seen considering everyone thought they would be in the tank for Victor Wembanyama from the very start. But they are 9-5 and have looked strong to start the season even with a bunch of new faces. Conley has had some rough shooting games in the short-term, but it’s only served to lower his price on both sites. He’s still averaging 11 points and eight assists on the season with some defensive stats and rebounds thrown in there as well. I say this as he has provided a more consistent floor and arguably higher PTS/$ upside than some of his peers who are routinely $11K on both sites. He gets elite usage(32%) and is averaging 33.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 6.8 rebounds which has provided us with at least 45 DK points in every game and he is also playing some of his best ball of the season averaging 59 fantasy points over his last seven games. The Spurs are slightly below average when looking at overall defensive efficiency but rank 27th in fantasy points allowed to guards so I will have a ton of exposure to Curry in all formats. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander FD - $10000 DK - $8900 Opponent - BOS Proj Pts FD - 48.11 DK - 49.72 Speaking of value, especially on DraftKings, we have SGA who is coming off a monster 60+ point performance but has seen price dip back below $9K and near a season-low. I really don't understand it for a guy who is averaging 31.1 points, 5.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and a massive3.6 blocks+steals per game. He has also provided us with 42 or more DK points in 10 of 12 games and 50 or more in seven of those. This game has the highest total on the slate and while the Thunder are big dogs here, they face a Celtics team that has struggled defensively ranking 24th in that metric this season. All things considered, SGA is my favorite PTS/$ pay-up on this slate. He may not get the usage of other stars in the league but his best value for us in fantasy is the balance he provides across multiple categories as he comes in averaging 21.6 points, 9.9 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game providing us with 40 or more fantasy points in 10 of 11 games and 50 or more in six of those. This game has the second-highest total on the slate and the Pacers face a Raptors team that is short it's best player and have struggled defensively in the short term. He played 45 minutes in the double-overtime win over the Thunder and finished with a slate-breaking 36 points and 12 assists.
