Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Rio Olympic Games Rio Olympic Course - Rio, Brazil Par 71 - 7,103 Yards   After 112 years golf is finally back in the Olympic Games. The Canadians will be the defending champs as George Lyon took home the Gold Medal back in 1904. The USA took home Silver and Bronze. With the attention moved away from the players who are not participating(Rory, Spieth, Day, DJ, Scott) we are going to concentrate on the players who are in Rio this week. The 60 golfers who will tee it up on Thursday have a very unique opportunity to win an Olympic Medal for their respective countries. The tournament format, which Henrik Stenson just found out last week, is a regular 72 hole event over a four day period. The people in charge decided with this format as it was the easiest way to get the bid for golf to be approved in the shortest period of time to be able to build a course for the event. A stroke play event gives us DFS junkies a chance to get in on the action of the Olympics with some terrific contests on DraftKings. The tournament that leads the way this week is the $20 buyin, $1,000,000 Guarantee with a $100,000 prize to first place. The best part about this tournament over the Milli Makers is the very flat payout structure and much more limited entries. The course was designed by Gil Hanse and his team starting back in late 2012/early 2013. The team faced numerous Environmental  challenges including not having the ability to import or export any sand. All 79 bunkers are made up of native sand(3 different types) found in the area of the course. They pushed very hard to preserve as much of the natural landscape as possible and it shows in the final design. Hanse beat out some monsters in the golf course design industry(Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus Jr., Arnold Palmer) with his vision he compared to the sand belt courses in Australia and his own design of Castle Stuart Links, the host of the Scottish Open. Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups Travelers Championship TPC River Highlands - Cromwell, CT Par 70 - 6,841 Yards The seasons final major championship is in the book after Jimmy Walker hoisted the Wanamaker Trophy as the 2016 PGA Champion. Walker became the 4th first time major winner of the season(Willett, DJ, Stenson, Walker) making it just the 5th time in history this has happened. If you are a fan of parity on the PGA Tour, there is no better time in golf than right now! Let's move on to next week. This week the PGA Tour head to the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut for the 2016 Travelers Championship. The course is a Par 70 setup that isn't very long at 6,841 yards. Players of all makeups have a shot here which opens up the field in a big way from a DFS standpoint. There have been bombers and accuracy players who have had success here but one thing has been common through the years. The guys at the top of leaderboard hit a ton of greens and make plenty of birdies. For this reason I will be weighting Par 4 Scoring, Birdie or Better %, GIR and Proximity from 125-150 and 150-175 Yards. The winning score has been between -12 and -20 over the past five years so scoring will be huge this week. Let's take a look at some picks.   Below is a list of the key stats I am using in  my model on the cheatsheet this week:   Strokes Gained: Approach Strokes Gained: Around the Green Par 4 Scoring Average Birdie or Better % Proximity from 125-150 Yards Proximity from 150-175 Yards Greens in Regulation   If you have any questions leading up to lineup lock Thursday morning you can reach me in a variety of ways. Leave a Q below in the comment section and I will get you an answer. You can hit me up in the new chatroom here at DFSR(It's crazy busy with MLB talk so try and private message me for specific PGA Q's). Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings – PGA Championship

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups PGA Championship Baltusrol Golf Club - Springfield, NJ Par 70 - 7,428 Yards The RBC Canadian Open is now in the books and it was Jhonattan Vegas shooting a final round 64 to capture the trophy. It was very disappointing for the top 2 ranked Canadians, Graham DeLaet and David Hearn but we got a glimpse into some up and coming talent. Four Canadians in total made the cut(De Toit, Rank, Conners, Hadwin) with Jared De Toit making the final group on Sunday and eventually finishing with a tie for 9th. Other notable Top 10's came from Dustin Johnson(T2), Jon Rahm(T2), Brandt Snedeker(T5), and Matt Kuchar(T7). With a just a week removed from the OPEN Championship we head into the final Major of the season. Let's get started. Due to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio the PGA Championship has been pushed up into July giving us our second Major Championship in three weeks. The final major of the year, the PGA Championship, brings us to Springfield, New Jersey to the historic Baltusrol Golf Club. The course was opened in 1922 and put lead architect, A.W. Tillinghast, on the map. It was the first time two 18 hole golf courses had been built side by side at the same time. Baltrusol is also one of only four golf courses(Chambers Bay, Baltrusol GC, Oakmont CC, and Merion GC) in America to be named a historic landmark. The course last hosted the PGA Championship back in 2005 when Phil Mickelson birdied the 72nd hole to win by one stroke over Thomas Bjorn and Steve Elkington. The course is a Par 70 that stretches out to a lengthy 7,428 yards. The fairways are going to be tough to hit putting an emphasis on the longer hitters off the tee as they will have shorter approaches and much easier clubs to navigate from the rough. Not to say that the shorter, accuracy guys can't succeed here but they will need to be spot on with their irons for 200+ this week. All four Par 3's are also all over 196 yards putting more emphasis on accuracy from...

Daily Fantasy PGA Picks for DraftKings – RBC Canadian Open

Click Here to Purchase PGA Lineups RBC Canadian Open Glen Abbey Golf Club - Oakville, Ontario Par 72 - 7,253 Yards It turned out to be a two man show at the OPEN Championship as Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson when shot for shot giving us one hell of a Sunday afternoon show. It was Stenson and his final round 63 that eventually won out by three strokes. He finished at -20 with Mickelson at -17, which was still 11 shots clear of J.B. Holmes in third place. We now turn our attention to another countries national open before heading to Springfield, New Jersey for the PGA Championship and the years final major. Let's dig in. This week the PGA Tour heads to Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario for the RBC Canadian Open. It will be the 28th time Glen Abbey has hosted the event and second year in a row. Most recently, it also hosted in 2013, 2009 and 2008. The course is a 7,253 yard, Par 72 that sits smack in the middle of Hamilton and Toronto just off of Lake Ontario. There is plenty of sand traps scattered around the fairways and greens with a ton of water as well including the 16 mile river which comes into play on the back nine. Over the years there has been a mix of long hitters and accuracy guys who have had success here but one thing is common and that is Total Driving. Distance can only provide an advantage if it is accurate here. A drive placed in the wrong position can leave a tough approach with the amount of trees that come into play. Along with Total Driving I will be weighting Sand Save %, Birdie or Better %, GIR, and most of all Par 5 Scoring. Looking at last years Top 10 you will notice that their combined score on the Par 5's was -102 while Par 4 Scoring total was -16 and Par 3 was -6. A large majority of a players score will come on those four holes this week. Below is a list of the key stats...

It is a very exciting time for the sports as drivers will be facing a different style of track for the 6th straight week starting back at Pocono, Michigan, Sonoma, Daytona, Kentucky and now New Hampshire. The track is a 1.058 mile oval flat track that can be best compared to Phoenix and is also similar to Richmond and Martinsville in that they are all flat. Passing will tough and drivers will be forced to use a ton of brakes to get through the 12° banked corners. Not only will track history at New Hampshire be very relevant but I will also look at recent track history form other flat tracks, specifically Phoenix. Track position is extremely important this so I will be weighting qualifying quite high. There has not been a winner who has started outside of 13th in since Denny Hamlin won from the 32nd starting position back in September 2012. Before we get into the picks for this week let's take a look back at the finish to last years New Hampshire 301 where we witnessed one of the best passes in a long time(In my biased Kyle Busch fan opinion).   Are looking to get better as fantasy NASCAR but don't have the time to conduct all the research necessary? Check out my DFS NASCAR Cheatsheet which will give you the edge to cash more consistently on DraftKings. The cheatsheet includes driver salaries, current form(Last 5 races), Track History(Last 5 Years), Loop Data, weekly salary trends,  and practice and qualifying ranks. I have also created a weighting system which changes weekly and...
