Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $8000 DK - $8300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 39.95 DK - 45.21 Jaden Ivey FD - $5200 DK - $5400Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 34.22 The bad news is that the Pistons stink and have lost 13 straight games. You don’t have to know anything about anything to know that’s horrible. At the same time, there is still some nightly DFS value on this squad and they actually come in as favorites against the Wizards. What does that tell you about Washington? Cade Cunningham took 26 shots last game, finishing with 31 points against the Pacers. And on the season he’s averaging 22 points and 7.1 assists. The 4.8 turnovers a game are a problem, but here’s to hoping some of the usage sticks for him against the worst defensive efficiency team in the league. Meanwhile, Jaden Ivey has been starting at the two guard and is coming off a 25-point game against the Pacers. He’s not a good outside shooter, but at least has been taking some from distance. And I think that stacking these guards at their price points does give a higher floor. The Wiz are just such a garbage team that it’s hard to imagine them slowing anyone down. Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10600 DK - $11000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 55.33 DK - 59.5 Buddy Hield FD - $5300 DK - $6400Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 30.43 DK - 33.55 I have this guard grouping second on the list not because I think they are worse than the guys above, but because they are more expensive and there’s some real blowout risk in this game. The Pacers come in as -12.5 favorites against the terrible Trailblazers and they could run them out of the gym. Tyrese Haliburton is on one right now, averaging 32 points and 14 assists over the last three games. Those are just unreal numbers and, if anything, he’s run a little bad in the defensive categories. Portland hasn’t been terrible on defense (middle of the pack) and run a slower pace which does drive him down a...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10600 DK - $11000Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 55.62 DK - 59.27 Tyrese Haliburton has been absolutely on one over the last couple of games, putting up unreal numbers scoring 33 and 37 points respectively with 16 assists in each. It doesn’t get much better than that and the Pacers continue to run at a crazy pace each and every game. Hali is getting expensive here, and with good reason, but gets a good matchup against the Pistons who play a bottom-third defense and run a top-12 pace. While the Pacers can run funky rotations at times, that doesn’t apply to their point guard who is having an All-NBA kind of season so far. Cade Cunningham FD - $7700 DK - $7800Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 41.21 DK - 46.28 On the other side of the ball, the Pistons draw one of the better DFS matchups around considering the Pacers allow as many points as they score (more or less). Their 107.3 pace is, by far, the fastest in the league, 1.7 higher than the next-closest team. It’s why the total for this game is 247.5, 20 or so points higher than just about every other game on the slate. Cade Cunningham should be in line for a lot of minutes though it should be mentioned that his production can be more volatile than others in his price range. But he has 20-point, 10-assist upside here with rebounds to boot. I think he’s more than worth the price considering the matchup. Buddy Hield FD - $5000 DK - $5500Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 33.11 DK - 36.3 Like I said before, the Pacers do play weird rotations at times, but Buddy Hield is starting to look like a safer play if the current plan sticks. He’s taken over the starting shooting guard role and played 35 and 31 minutes over the last two since the switch. The scoring has been there with 31 and 24 points, taking 28 total shots in that span. We know he can bomb threes and the Pacers pace allows for him to get enough...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10200 DK - $10000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 53.66 DK - 58.45 Buddy Hield FD - $4800 DK - $5200Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 29.19 DK - 33 The Pacers are coming off an epic game on Tuesday and there was a reason we gave Tyrese Haliburton as our top option heading into that one. A ridiculous 157-152 (in regulation) win over the Hawks will do that and Hali finished with 37 points and 16 assists, going completely nuke in the third quarter on the way to the W. Not as good matchup here against the Raptors but the Pacers still have one of the highest totals on the slate for a reason. Meanwhile, Buddy Hield got the start over Bennedict Mathurin on Tuesday and made good use of it, going 9-11 from the field and 6-6 from three in 31 minutes. That’s out-of-the-box efficiency that isn’t likely to be replicated, but starting and playing minutes in the 30s is a recipe for value at his current price points. He’s an especially good FanDuel bargain. LaMelo Ball FD - $9900 DK - $10200Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 51.02 DK - 56.16 The game to really keep an eye on tonight is the Hornets and Wizards who come in with the highest over/under on the slate at 242.5. I don’t think we see the same heights as Hawks-Pacers, but this one should be up and down the court with little to no defense as well. LaMelo Ball has been locked into about a 36-37 minute rotation of late and over the last month is averaging 29 points, eight assists, and 5.5 rebounds while also adding some defensive stats as well. He’s in the same tier as Haliburton and choosing between them on this slate could be tough. Nickeil Alexander-Walker FD - $4200 DK - $3700Opponent - PHIProj Pts FD - 26.39 DK - 27.38 Jaden McDaniels is going to miss some time and it looks like Nickeil Alexander-Walker will draw the start in his place. It’s a big-time downgrade on the defensive end, but NAW does have a bit more in...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Tyrese Haliburton FD - $10300 DK - $10400Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 52.07 DK - 55.97 This Pacers-Hawks game has an insane (and I mean insane) 250 over/ under which almost seems like a joke. It’s 14 points higher than the next-closest game and 25 points more than most other tilts. We are paying a pretty price for Tyrese Haliburton at this point, but if there was ever a game that was “worth it”, it’s this one. The pace should be ultra-fast, Hali has been playing huge minutes and is averaging 23.5 points and 11.6 assists on 51/43/94 splits. Don’t sweat this decision all that much, click the button and fill out the rest of the lineup. Trae Young FD - $9200 DK - $9100Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 49.66 DK - 54.63 Speaking of the game with a ridiculous total, on the other side we have the Hawks with their own backcourt to roster. Again, with pricing, this gets a little tough because there is only so much salary. But if there was a game to really try to make it all fit and get cheaper plays in elsewhere, this is the one. Trae’s three-point shooting has been off this season, going only 28% from deep with the overall FG% way down off his career numbers as well. That’s definitely a concern, but the usage is still there and he’s getting to the line more this season as well. Bennedict Mathurin FD - $5400 DK - $5300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 31.36 DK - 33.74 We had a little window last week when it seemed like Bennedict Mathurin was going to be a mid-30s minutes guy going forward. But as it seems to happen with Indiana, the rotations just can kind of get wonky and it’s tough to trust anything beyond Haliburton. That being said, with this game likely going the way we think, getting Mathurin in the middle tier (because of the lower minutes of late), then it’s worth it to take the risk. The total is just too high and he’s got big-time scoring upside when things break right. Consider: He’s...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Jalen Brunson FD - $8000 DK - $8300Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 42.08 DK - 45.86 With a packed slate of games, it can sometimes be a bit weird playing players from a team at full strength, but the Knicks are in such a great spot we have to look at them. They play the Wizards who run the fastest pace in the league and play a bottom-five defense. Stacking against them in cash has been a winning formula as long as the games don’t turn into blowouts (tough to do). If it’s close, Brunson is a candidate to run major minutes, playing 39+ in each of the last two games, taking an average of 20 shots in that span. The price on both sites is totally reasonable and he should be at the core of cash game builds. De'Aaron Fox FD - $9300 DK - $9000Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 46.17 DK - 48.49M Along with the Knicks, the other team to think strongly about stacking here is the Kings who get to face off against the Spurs. San Antonio has the second-worst defensive efficiency in the NBA, giving up huge point totals seemingly every single night. They also get blown out a ton, so there’s risk here with the Sac guys. Fox hasn’t had any minutes restrictions since coming back from injury and has dropped 28 points in each of the last two games. Pray this one stays close and light the Beam with the Kings in cash. Darius Garland FD - $7400 DK - $7200Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 0 DK - 0 Donovan Mitchell FD - $9900 DK - $9500Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 55.43 DK - 57.69 Caris LeVert FD - $6500 DK - $6900Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 37.7 DK - 39.65 I’m putting all three of these guys together here for a reason. Not because I think you should play all three, but because both Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell are questionable at the time of this writing. If one were to sit, then the other plus Caris LeVert would be in play as excellent...
