FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday 3/30/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday 3/30/21 After a crazy 11-game slate on Monday, we're down to just four games here. While the Clippers-Magic game is likely to be lopsided, we anticipate the other three games staying close. What's also fascinating about this slate is that we have numerous teams who participated at the trade deadline. That should make things interesting, and it'll definitely play a huge factor in this article. With that in mind, let's get into it! Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $7900 DK - $8700 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 44.18 DK - 43.91 It seems really weird that Simmons price has dropped below $8K on FanDuel. This guy has been nothing but productive since Joel Embiid went down, playing some of the best basketball of his career. In fact, B-Sim is averaging 39 DraftKings points per game across his last 15 outings. That tremendous production is no surprise when you see that Sim has a 25 percent usage rate with Embiid off the floor while averaging over 1.2 DK points per minute. He's been doing that damage despite many of those games being blowouts, and a close game with the Nuggets should force him into 35-40 minutes. It happens to be a quality matchup, too, with Denver ranked 21st in defensive efficiency. Terry Rozier FD - $7500 DK - $7700 Opponent - WAS Proj Pts FD - 40.23 DK - 41.79 Scary Terry has been giving opponents nightmares all season long, and it's crazy to think how good he can be with LaMelo Ball out for the foreseeable future. The breakout guard is posting a career-best 35 DK points per game for the season and lead the starters with a 25 percent usage rate with Ball off the floor. That boost in usage has allowed Rozier to score at least 36 DK points in each of his last four fixtures, averaging 43 fantasy points per game in that span. That lofty average is actually below our projection, and it's easy to see why when looking at this matchup. Washington currently ranks 27th in defensive efficiency while playing at the fastest pace in the NBA. Russell Westbrook is the most expensive player on...

This is going to be a slightly different article than usual, because this is a very different slate than we've become accustomed to. Saturday featured perhaps the craziest night of injuries in DFS history, with an unprecedented number of late injuries to players of all calibers. As such, many of these players are questionable tonight, and any attempt to write a regular picks article is likely to be worthless by the time lineups finally lock. Instead, we're going to take a look at the key information you need to keep an eye out for tonight, and how you should be prepared to proceed if certain news comes out. Washington vs. Indiana There are a handful of under-priced Pacers that you can play if incredible value doesn't open up elsewhere. We've got a close eye on Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon in particular. The Wizards pair a bottom-five defense with the league's fastest PACE, and It will be tough to go wrong running Pacers out there almost no matter what happens elsewhere. On the Washington side, you'll need to keep an eye on Bradley Beal's status. He left Saturday's game early, and Garrison Mathews saw 31 minutes as a result. I'm not super bullish on Mathews necessarily, but Russell Westbrook would be in line for huge usage if Beal were to miss this one. New Orleans vs. Boston The main news to keep an eye on here concerns the point guards of both teams. Both Kemba Walker and Lonzo Ball are currently listed as questionable, but they are in very different situations. It's believed that Walker missed Saturday's game due to rest, and it's likely he'll play here. It's a nice match-up with the Pelicans, but no Celtics are really jumping off the page here. There's also the possibility of Evan Fournier making his debut, which would further complicate things. Ball, on the other hand, pulled himself from Thursday's practice and wound up missing his last game, and I'd guess he's closer to a 30% chance to play here. If he winds up sitting, that gives Nickeil Alexander-Walker a bunch of extra...

Point Guard Kyle Lowry FD - $6600 DK - $7500Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 40.59 DK - 42.88 Lowry didn’t get traded at the deadline, much to the surprise of, well, almost everyone. But the Raptors couldn’t find a deal they liked and decided to keep the best player in franchise history. The plan is to still run him major minutes and he played 35 in a close game against the Suns on Friday even with some foul trouble. This is a short slate and Toronto, who still very much would like to make the playoffs have the best matchup against the Trailblazers and their second-worst defense in the league. Michael Carter-Williams FD - $5300 DK - $6300Opponent - LALProj Pts FD - 29.07 DK - 29.82 Carter-Williams didn’t get the start on Friday night for the Magic but it was only because he didn’t feel well at the last second before tip-off. He still came in off the bench when his tum tum started feeling better. The Magic made team-gutting moves at the trade deadline, but didn’t bring back much in the way of guards other than rookie RJ Hampton. I still think there are a lot of minutes for MCW here who averaged 11 points, six assists and five rebounds in *only* 28 minutes last game. The floor is higher for him if he’s starting again and the FanDuel price is a little too cheap. Shooting Guard Fred VanVleet FD - $7400 DK - $7800Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 44.65 DK - 45.29 Like Lowry, there are still a lot of minutes for the Raptors’ starters going forward and Fred VanVleet plays as many minutes as anyone in the league. He’s played 39 or more in four of the last five games and has put up 10+ three-pointers in three of the last four. This is a great matchup against the Blazers who struggle with perimeter defense and FVV has some higher scoring upside in this game. On the shorter slate, it’s tough to face his minutes floor considering the matchup is the best on the slate. C.J. McCollum FD - $7900 DK - $8000Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 44.31...

This Saturday set of games could prove to be very tricky when it comes to injury news. There are a lot of high-profile guys who are questionable as of this writing. I'll try to walk through some of the scenarios to watch out for and how they will affect the slate. Point Guard News we are waiting on Luka Doncic FD - $10800 DK - $10800Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 1.52 DK - 1.59 Jalen Brunson FD - $4800 DK - $4200Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 34.89 DK - 36.38 If Luka Doncic sits out again then Jalen Brunson (FD 4800 DK 4200) is a strong play again at these price points. I know the returns weren’t all that great on Friday, but I’d be happy to go right back in this direction if he got the start for Dallas. Conversely, if Luka Doncic (FD 10800 DK 10800) plays and is given a full bill of health then he is a good play in this matchup at these prices. This is just one of the many wait-and-see issues we are faced with on Saturday. If Kawhi Leonard is out again then Reggie Jackson (FD $4800 DK $4700) and/ or Terance Mann (FD $3900 DK $3900) would be interesting in the starting role. Both started last game, but Marcus Morris sat that one out as well. Tomas Satoransky FD - $4500 DK - $4800Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 27.97 DK - 28.44 The Bulls are a new-look team now with the addition of Nikola Vucevic and the offense should have even more firepower now. Satoransky has been locked into the starting point guard role for Chicago and playing around 30 minutes when the games right. He’s been good for about 10 points and six assists per game over the last week or so and the assist numbers should be in line to tick up with a more functional offensive big in the mix. Shooting Guard Joe Ingles FD - $5400 DK - $5800Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 30.05 DK - 31.83 Mike Conley is expected to miss this game due to rest on the back-to-back which should have Joe Ingles once again...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday 3/26/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 3/26/21 If you love crazy DFS slates, this is the one for you. We had what felt like a million trades on Thursday, and it makes this the most uncertain slate of the season. We're not quite sure if these new acquisitions are ready to go yet, and you won't know until shortly before the slate commences. That means value will eventually open up, especially with Orlando trading away their entire roster. That's a team to look out for because there could be some great values on that roster in the coming weeks. The only issue is, we're not quite sure what that rotation will look like yet! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard John Wall FD - $8200 DK - $8300 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 44.09 DK - 45.4 The Rockets are beyond terrible, and it's sad because Wall has had a really nice bounceback season for them. Amazingly, the former All-Star has scored at least 33 DraftKings points in 19 of his last 21 games, averaging 40 fantasy points per game in those 19 outings. He's been even better recently, posting a 42-point average over his last six outings while playing 35 minutes a night. That minute total might be the most important thing because it means Wall is no longer hampered by the Achilles injury that knocked him out for a year. The matchup is fantastic, too, with Minnesota ranked 26th in defensive efficiency while owning a 23rd OPRK against opposing point guards. Jordan Poole FD - $6200 DK - $6500 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 37.82 DK - 39.81 Poole has quietly been an amazing player for the Warriors over the last month, and his role continues to expand with Stephen Curry sidelined. That has led to him scoring at least 24 DraftKings points in nine of his 10 games since returning, generating a 32-point average over his last five fixtures. The thing that's made him so valuable is his role, playing 33 minutes a night while attempting over 16 shots a game. Those are rare sites from a $6K player, and his role should continue to be monstrous as long as Chef Curry is cooking at home....
