FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Tuesday, 4/20/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Tuesday, 4/20/21 If you're as addicted to fantasy as I am, you're surely in the playoffs of your season-long formats. That means you probably have a good idea of how crazy the NBA landscape is right now, with players resting way too regularly. I mean, what the hell are the Toronto Raptors doing? These guys are fighting for a playoff spot and sit their starters every night. There's no rhyme or reason to anything it seems like, especially with a month left in the season! That can make DFS tough for us, but it also leaves a ton of value out there as well! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9400 DK - $9900 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 48.77 DK - 49.91 This is my favorite play of the day. With Brooklyn expected to miss James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Nicolas Claxton, Kyrie should be busier than ever here. With those guys off the floor, he has a usage rate flirting with 35 percent while averaging a ridiculous 1.6 DK points per minute. To put that in perspective, that'd equate to 48 fantasy points in just 30 minutes! We believe those 30 minutes are the floor, and it's even less surprising to see that when you see Irving's 47-point average over his last 13 games played. All of that doesn't even consider this tasty matchup, with the Pelicans surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Terry Rozier FD - $7800 DK - $8000 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 42.21 DK - 43.73 Scary Terry has found himself in a beautiful role, and it's allowed him to become a fantasy monster. The Hornets are currently missing Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball, Devonte' Graham, and Malik Monk, leaving Rozier as the only frontcourt player left. That has led to the best stretch of his career, scoring at least 52 fantasy points in three straight games while falling just shy of a 60-point average in that stretch. That's a heck of a total from a player sitting around $8K, and it's hard to understand why he's not closer to $10,000 on both sites. Facing New York can be a tough cookie...

Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon FD - $7500 DK - $7600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 42.01 DK - 43.88 Brogdon's price is just flat out wrong at this point. He played just 28 minutes in his first game back from injury, but in the 5 games since he's averaged 44.3 FanDuel points a game. That's just ridiculous production on this price point, and it doesn't hurt that the Spurs have allowed a top 10 total to opposing point guards this season. Ben Simmons FD - $7100 DK - $7800 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 39.14 DK - 39.2 Speaking of elite point guards that are far too cheap, I present Mr. Ben Simmons. He seems to have overcome his rough patch with back to back 40+ FanDuel point performances, and the Warriors are woefully unequipped to deal with Philly's size. They'll have their hands full with Embiid and (hopefully) Harris, and Simmons should be able to fill it up here. Also considered: Coby White. Shooting Guard Bradley Beal FD - $8500 DK - $9200 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 46.43 DK - 47.67 While Beal is worth a little bit less than it looked like he'd be earlier this season, this FanDuel price is pretty much in joke territory. He's averaged better than 5x points per dollar on these prices in his last four games, and gets a plus match-up with the Thunder here. The Thunder are a good match-up for opposing shooting guards in any circumstance, but Shai's absence should make this spot even better. Beal's a great play in any format. Joe Ingles FD - $6300 DK - $6200 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 33.18 DK - 35.1 It's hard not to like Ingles in this one given that Mitchell is already ruled out. Against these same Lakers Ingles dropped 20 points and 14 assists, though this comes with the disclaimer that he was largely running the point in Conley's absence. Conley will be back for this one, but Ingles should still get a lot more action with Mitchell shelved. Ingles won't have the upside he showed last game, but the...

Point Guard Luka Doncic FD - $10400 DK - $10900Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 54.44 DK - 57.16 Doncic draws the best matchup you can have these days in DFS against a Sacramento Kings who rank dead last in defensive efficiency this season and play at a top-10 pace. That’s about all you can ask for when targeting fantasy plays and that’s what we get with Doncic. He’s coming off a 19 assist game against the Knicks on Friday and over the last month has averaged 27 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds. With the Mavs still pushing for the playoffs they have to keep their foot on the gas with Doncic’s minutes and he has as high a floor as anyone on this slate. Terry Rozier FD - $7500 DK - $8300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 43.13 DK - 44.91 I like this play a lot more if Devonte' Graham is out again, but can roll with Rozier almost regardless. With Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball hurt there are a lot of minutes for him in the backcourt. Rozier has played 40 or more minutes in three of the last six games and taken 20 or more shots in the last two. This is a great matchup against a very weak Portland team on defense. Shooting Guard C.J. McCollum FD - $7900 DK - $8700Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 45.53 DK - 46.91 We already have word that Damian Lillard is going to miss this game on Sunday meaning we should be in line to play McCollum again in cash. The reasoning behind this is fairly straightforward and simple. With Lillard off the court, this season (and historically) McCollum is the primary beneficiary in the offense and has significant on-ball duties. For the season, CJ has a 27.5% usage rate. With Dame off the court, that number goes up to 30.5%, easily the highest on the team. The price hasn’t come up in conjunction with the new opportunity he should see on Sunday and they draw a good matchup against an injury-plagued Charlotte team. If Kawhi Leonard is out then Paul George (FD $9800 DK $9300) is definitely in play again. Small...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 4/17/21 We've got a shorter slate of NBA games on Saturday evening. Let's break down some cash plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Coby White FD - $4500 DK - $5200Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 28.49 DK - 30.31 White was a popular option on Friday evening and that was with good reason. He took over the starting role for the injured Tomas Satoransky and Zach Lavine is also on the shelf for the next few games at least. The Bulls lost, but White finished with the second-most shots on the team at 17. He had 27 points, seven assists, and five rebounds in a performance that completely crushed his price on both sites. He’s set up to do something similar against Cleveland on Saturday. I suspect he’s one of the highest-owned plays on the shorter slate of games. Killian Hayes FD - $3700 DK - $3400Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 19.84 DK - 20.66 Hayes was a total chalk option on DraftKings on Friday with the rookie getting the start and the Pistons really short on backcourt options. It’s shaping up to be the case again on Saturday with the price sticking right in the same area as a punt play. I’d caution that the five steals aren’t repeatable and the 27 minutes is definitely a concern even though this was a close win for the Pistons. It’s a great price which makes it easier to stomach but the defensive stats which feel rather outlier-ish definitely helped the line look a lot better than it could have been. All that being said, he’s almost too cheap to fade on a smaller slate. If Bradley Beal sits out the second half of the back-to-back then I think you can fire up Russell Westbrook (FD $11400 DK $10900) even at these crazy prices. He’s just been that good lately. Shooting Guard Josh Jackson FD - $5600 DK - $5100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 27.51 DK - 28.02 A lot of this play depends on the state of the Pistons on Saturday. It’s just so hard to figure with this team seeing as how they are fully in the tank with the minutes of even...
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Friday. 4/16/21
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Friday, 4/16/21 These slates can be very frustrating with limited information available, but we know a ton going into this one. That has me excited for this article because I really feel like we have a good grasp on the value. There are numerous superstar players missing, and it's going to lead to some great plays. There's a lot to discuss, so let's go ahead and get into it! Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Terry Rozier FD - $7000 DK - $8100 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 42.07 DK - 43.75 I hear the Hornets are setting up some try-outs before the game if you have interest! They're currently missing Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball, Malik Monk, P.J. Washington, and Devonte' Graham. That's pretty much the whole rotation, and it should allow Scary Terry to feast. With all of those guys off the floor, Rozier leads the club with a ridiculous 36 percent usage rate while providing 1.3 DK points per minute. Those are incredible numbers for a guy who's already in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 35 fantasy points per game. The icing on the cake is the matchup, though, with Brooklyn ranked 24th in points allowed and 25th in defensive efficiency. Coby White FD - $3800 DK - $5000 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 26.36 DK - 27.9 This is a risky play with White's role falling off a cliff recently, but one would have to believe he'll be one of the focal points of the offense here. We say that because Zach LaVine is out for the next week. That means about 20 shots, 35 minutes, and a 30 percent usage rate is out of the lineup, and White should be the one taking on most of that. If you look at the 42 games that White has played at least 25 minutes, he's averaging over 28 DraftKings points per game. If you get that from someone in this price range, you've stumbled into one of the best values of the day. Ja Morant is hovering around $7K on both sites and has one of the highest upsides of any player in that price range. Shooting Guard Fred VanVleet...
