We even witnessed a teammate battle between Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch in the closing laps which eventually led to Carl bumping Kyle on the final turn to take the checkered flag. Check it out below: This is what the fans pay to see. There is no alliances on the final lap of a race. Overall, it was another incredible race from start to finish as the new downforce package combined with the amazing tire setup that Goodyear brought to Richmond lead to four wide racing all day long. This week NASCAR heads to Talladega, Alabama for the Geico 500 this Sunday afternoon. That's right, it's time for some Superspeedway racing boys and girls. Where the "Big One" is bound to happen with pack racing and speeds of 200+ MPH. Picking a winner seems like a bit of a crap shoot as only one driver(Brad Keselowski) has multiple wins here in the last five years(10 races). This doesn't mean we just get click happy and select any six drivers with pretty cars. I mean that can work. Just ask a few of my friends who kicked my butt back at Daytona who never played a DFS NASCAR lineup in their life. I am holding no anger towards them. Honestly. Ok, back on track. Literally. The data which we collect may not prove to be as important this week but it can still steer you in the right direction(all the puns in this article). Looking at the big picture at Talladega there are 14 drivers in the field this week with wins here in their career but just five...

Check out the closing laps below: This week NASCAR stays on a short track run with a trip to Richmond International Raceway for the Toyota Owners 400 this Sunday. Richmond is a .75 mile D shaped oval with 14° banking in the corners. This year the spring race here at Richmond will be an afternoon race for the first time since 1997 in an effort to increase attendance. It is the third short track race in the last four weeks but don't compare Richmond to Bristol or Martinsville. First of all it is a quarter mile longer and a lot faster than those tracks. It can be somewhat compared to Phoenix which is a one mile track with slightly less banking. Top news of the week? Tony Stewart is back behind the wheel of the #14 Chevrolet. He returns after an injury layoff to begin his final season in NASCAR. As of right now Brian Vickers is listed as the driver of the #14 on DraftKings so be sure not to roster him. It is not likely they will add "Smoke" for the race this week. The return of Tony has slightly overshadowed the current hot topic in the Sprint Cup series. Lug nuts! There are teams pushing the limits after NASCAR has limited the number of officials in the pits which has put the responsibility on the teams to the amount of lug nuts used on the car. Some teams are only putting four on each tire to help reduce the...
Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – Food City 500

Click here to sign up Food City 500 Britol Motor Speedway - Bristol, TN Track - .533 Mile Oval Short Track 24°-30° Banking in the Corners Another week, another Kyle Busch win. The #18 team didn't have the best car throughout the race last week but they made the correct adjustments and came out on top when it counted the most. Kyle joined Jimmie Johnson as the only other driver with multiple wins in 2016 and look to battle each other all season long for the top spot. Don't forget about Kevin Harvick and the #4 team either. He finished 10th in Texas which was his sixth Top 10 in seven races. With Texas in the books we get back to bumping and banging as the Sprint Cup series heads to Bristol. This week the drivers get their first taste of Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016 as they prepare for the Food City 500 on Sunday afternoon. Bristol is a track with many nicknames(Worlds Fastest Half Mile, The Bullring, Thunder Valley) and is one of the best spectacles in NASCAR. Get ready for some bumping and banging and drivers short on patience. Bristol is a half mile track with 24°-30° banking in the turns that creates exciting door to door racing for 500 laps. For fantasy it is tough to build cash game lineups here at Bristol as the race is conducive to lots of cautions and crashes. Even the best drivers can be sent to garage early if they aren't lucky. Like Superspeedway racing, it may be a great week to enter multiple GPP lineups and build around your core drivers. I will again be selling a cheatsheet every week of the NASCAR season. It will include drivers, salaries for DraftKings and FantasyFeud, post qualifying Vegas Odds, current form(last 5 races), track history(last 5 races), and I update the cheatsheet...
Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – Duck Commander 500

Click here to sign up Duck Commander 500 Martinsville Speedway - Martinsville, Virginia Track - .526 Mile Short Track 12° Banking in the Corners Kyle Busch got the monkey off his back at Martinsville in a big way this past weekend. He picked up his first career Camping World Truck series win at the paper clip on Saturday afternoon leading 123 of 255 laps in the race. On Sunday he dominated again, leading 352 laps on his way to his first Sprint Cup series win at Martinsville. Kyle wasn't a main pick last week but an honorable mention, however I failed to have enough exposure limiting my success last week. Shame on me! Looking at a few of my other picks, early favorite Jimmie Johnson didn't lead a lap but closed with another Top 10 here at Martinsville. Denny Hamlin , another favorite to win, wheel hopped into the wall around half way through the race and ended up in 39th. This one really hurt as I had about 60% exposure to the #11 team. A swap of Kyle for Hamlin would have been huge as my value plays in Brian Vickers and AJ Allmendinger paid off in a big way. Allmendinger finished 2nd behind Kyle and Vickers came in 7th. Overall the picks looked good and just missed on a big cash. All in all a positive week. Let's carry it over into Texas. This week the drivers get back to a mile and a half track and the new rules package when they head to Fort Worth, Texas for the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. It is one of the older intermediate track and fastest on the circuit. The drivers love racing here as it has multiple lanes and presents a ton of passing opportunities which should only increase with the new rules package. It should...
Daily Fantasy NASCAR Picks for DraftKings & FantasyFeud – STP 500

Click here to sign up STP 500 Martinsville Speedway - Martinsville, Virginia Track - .526 Mile Short Track 12° Banking in the Corners After the Easter break and a week off from NASCAR we are back for more exciting action in the Sprint Cup Series. This week the haulers head to Martinsville, Virgina for the STP 500. Martinsville Speedway is half mile short track that is nicknamed the "Paper Clip" due to its shape. It has very little banking(12°) and the only way to pass is to use your car as a weapon. You will see more bumping and banging here than almost any other track. Denny Hamlin won the spring race here last year holding off Brad Keselowski on the final laps then performed a great burnout. Check out the final laps below: You might remember the fall race at Martinsville a tad bit more, especially if you are a Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano or Matt Kenseth fan. Joey Logano was well on his way to a victory in the Round 0f 8 during last years Chase for the Sprint Cup. That was until Matt Kenseth decided to extract his revenge for being taken out two weeks prior at Kansas. It was that wreck that allowed Jeff Gordon to pick up the win(the last of his amazing career) and punch his ticket in the Final Four of the Chase in his final season in NASCAR. For fantasy purposes, it is again another great GPP week. Almost no driver is safe from contact even the lead drivers who will catch lap traffic fairly quickly on a green flag run. It is very tough to pass making it very hard to find value in drivers who qualify near the back. If you are going to take a risk on a guy starting back make sure he is experienced in Matrinsville. The pole winner has led...
