MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Cam Talbot FD - $8300 DK - $8500 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 13.9 DK - 3.48 How good did the Oilers look in game one? To me, they looked like a team that will not be satisfied with just making it o the playoffs this season and it starts between the pipes. He somehow finished 4th in the Vezina voting last year but, in my opinion, should have been higher after posting 42 wins, a 2.39 GAA, and .919 Save %. It's tough when competing against the likes of Price, Bobrovsky, and Holtby but he is an elite goalie and even comes at a discount on FanDuel. He stopped all 27 shots on opening night and now gets another tasty division matchup vs. the Canucks who ranked second last in offense last season and will be playing their first game of the season tonight. I normally try and target a goalie playing at home for cash games but will make an exception tonight. Matt Murray FD - $8900 DK - $7800 Opponent - NAS Proj Pts FD - 18.87 DK - 4.72 It's been a rough start to the season for Murray and the Stanley Cup Champion Penguins but I think this gives us an opportunity to get him at a lower ownership making him a top GPP play tonight. He is the top projected goalie in the system and was an instrumental piece in the Penguins success last year. With Marc-Andre Fleury out of the picture, he will be relied upon even more this year and the coach is showing him the trust by getting him back in the fire tonight. I don't think you need to play him in cash games but like I said, if he is going to be lower owned, he is a top GPP play.   Also consider Antti Raanta(ARI) and...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/6/17 Hello hockey fans and welcome to nice little three-game slate on Friday. Las Vegas is playing their first ever game and we have some nice offensive production expected in all three games. Let's dive right in and check out today's picks. Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $8800 DK - $8200 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 17.75 DK - 4.44 Three game slates can sometimes be tricky for cash games but tonight we are blessed with last years Vezina Trophy winner. Bobrovsky also ended up third in the Hart Trophy voting behind McDavid and Crosby as he led the league with an elite 2.06 GAA and .931 save % while recording 41 wins for the Blue Jackets. The matchup is not the best he will see all season as the Islanders ranked 10th in overall offense last season(2.91 goals per game) but he is at home adn the Jackets open as -160 favorites. I will be rolling him out in all formats. Ben Bishop FD - $8800 DK - $8400 Opponent - VEG Proj Pts FD - 20.33 DK - 5.08 Bishop is the most expensive option on both sites tonight but the Stars open their season at home as huge -240 favorites to the expansion Vegas Golden Knights. Bishop is coming off a down season where he posted a .910 save % between two teams(Lighting & Kings), his lowest in any season where he played high volume games. He gets a fresh start on a new team in 2017/18 and should be able to bounce back and it starts tonight vs. a sub-optimal Knights lineup that lacks a star player on offense and has the look of a bottom feeder for a few years. It is probably best to reserve Bishop for GPP's tonight considering we get last year's Vezina Trophy winner at the same price on FanDuel...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/5/17

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/5/17 It was quite an opening night in the NHL and it started with the Leafs trampling over the Jets in Winnipeg and walking away with a 7-2 win. We then witnessed the Penguins banner and Stanley Cup ceremony as they opened at home but unfortunately for them, they fell short in a high scoring 5-4 loss. We then got treated to the famous "Battle of Alberta" but it ended up fairly one-sided as defending Hart Trophy winner, Connor McDavid put on a one-man show scoring all three Edmonton goals in a 3-0 shutout win. Then in the late game, the Flyers went cross country to San Jose with their new-look youth movement but were lead by veteran Wayne Simmonds and his hat-trick taking down the Sharks 5-3. Can anything top night one? Well, to start off we get double the games tonight(8) so I believe there is a very good chance you will be entertained once again. Let's jump right into the top picks at each position. GOALIE Henrik Lundqvist FD - $8600 DK - $8400 Opponent - COL Proj Pts FD - 17.72 DK - 4.43 Tonight the chalk in net will most likely fall on King Henrik's shoulders but it makes a ton of sense. The Rangers will open the season at home and are currently big -200 favorites facing the Avalanche. Yes, those Avalanche who finished last season as the league's worst team with 48 points and not surprisingly they also ranked dead last in offense scoring just over two goals per game. For Lundqvist, he posted a career-low .910 save % in his 12th season but still managed to record 30 wins for the fourth straight and 11th time in his Hall of Fame career and I fully expect a rebound in 2017/18. He is safe in all formats, especially on FanDuel where he is fifth most expensive option....

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/4/17

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/4/17 ALL ABOARD!! Welcome to another awesome NHL season at DFSR. Chris Durell and myself will be co-driving the train again this season and we couldn't be more excited. We have a new team in the league this year, the Las Vegas Golden Knights. The team has hired a few gambling counselors I'm sure. There are so many superstars in the making and I could keep going on and on, but I'll save the talking for the article. Let's dive right into the picks shall we? If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and NFL LINEUPS NOW! GOALIE Cam Talbot FD - $8300 DK - $8300 Opponent - CGY Proj Pts FD - 18.67 DK - 4.67 Did I mention that I'm excited about the NHL season? And guess what my friends? We get to witness the battle of Alberta on opening night. This rivalry isn't for the faint of heart and I totally recommend that you tune into this game. Edmonton is currently the biggest favorite of the night at -190 and I can't see the Flames putting up much of a fight here. Talbot has solidified himself as a top 10 tender and the Oilers look even better this year. Last season, the workhorse started 73 games which were seven more than any other goalie in the league. He had 42 wins, which was tied for first. He was second in the league with a GAA of 2.39, 14th with a save % of .919 and tied for third with seven shutouts. The Flames were ranked a below average 17th on offense last season and they don't look much better on paper this year. I can vision a lot of people flocking towards Jones against Philly, but I'm not a fan of San Jose this season, so I am all-in on Talbot here. He is an elite play in all formats. **Update: Oilers down to -150 favorites but still loving Talbot as an elite play in net** Matt Murray FD - $9100 DK - $8100 Opponent - STL Proj Pts FD - 18.65 DK - 4.66 If for some reason you don't like Talbot, then this two-time Lord Stanley champion is my second best choice on this small four-game slate. I'll warn you though that the Blues were ranked 12th on offense last season, but Pittsburgh's offense was ranked first in the league, so expect some goal support here. In 2016 Murray only played 49 games because of an injury, but he...

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings 4/27/17   Hello hockey fans and welcome to a preview of the awesome Eastern Conference semi-final matchups that are about to begin. The Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins face-off in a battle of the top two teams from the east and the Ottawa Senators and the New York Rangers square off in the other matchup. I will be giving you my insight and predictions for these two series'. Let's get started shall we?   Hockey is back and with it come our NHL projections which help inform these picks every night. When you purchase a DFSR NHL subscription to our base hockey projections you also get access to our brand new MLB DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal MLB lineu, s and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create MLB lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users crush the MLB season. If you want to see the numbers behind our projections, create lineups with a single click, or research as deeply as your heart desires, click the button below to test out yourself. MAKE NHL and MLB LINEUPS NOW! NEW YORK RANGERS VS. OTTAWA SENATORS NYR Offense (4th) vs. OTT Defense (9th) OTT Offense (19th) vs. NYR Defense (12th) The Rangers took care of the Montreal Canadiens in the first round in six games. It was a close battle throughout the series, but Henrik Lundqvist proved that he is still an elite goalie and that he can carry his team on his back. The Rangers out-scored the Habs 14-11 with two of the six games going into overtime. The leading scorer for New York was Mika Zibanejad with a measley four points. He had a goal, three assists, and 16 shots. The boys in blue are tough to roster in cash games because they spread the love around so much, but if I were to recommend one player for safety in this series it would be Rick Nash as he had two goals, an assist and a whopping 23 shots on goal last series. For your tournament lineups, the top two lines are (1) Chris Kreider, Derek Stepan and Mats Zuccarello and (2) Jimmy Vesey, Mika Zibanejad and Rick Nash. If the Rangers all of a sudden find an offensive spark, then both of these lines are decent GPP plays. On the defensive end, Ryan McDonagh plays on the #1 PP so he's in play for GPP's and a nice cheap cash game play could be Nick Holden as he has three shots and seven blocks while averaging 20 minutes of...
