GOALIE Sergei Bobrovsky FD - $9500 DK - $8000 Opponent - WPG Proj Pts FD - 15.49 DK - 3.87 After allowing five goals two games ago, the reigning Vezina Trophy winner allowed only one goal in his last outing vs. the Sabres and tonight Bobrovsky and the Blue Jackets welcome the Jets to town who are ranked 21st in the league on offense with 2.88 goals per game. The Jets lost 2-1 in overtime last night in Pittsburgh, so this will be a tough outing this evening against Columbus who are ranked 5th defensively while allowing only 2.44 goals per game. Goalie Bob is fifth in league with five wins and look for him to earn another victory tonight. He is my favorite goalie in all formats. Corey Crawford FD - $9100 DK - $7700 Opponent - NAS Proj Pts FD - 17.94 DK - 4.49 While Bobrovsky is my favorite play in all formats today, this Canadian net-minder is a very close second. Crawford has had a great start to the year as he also has five wins to go along with a GAA of 2.13 and a .937 save percentage. Tonight`s opponent the Nashville Predators have been poor lately as they have scored only five goals in their last three games and if you don`t like Bobrovsky, then fire up Crawford in all formats. GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $8400 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 20.44 DK - 5.11 Vasilevskiy is easily the top option at the position in all formats if he is back between the pipes for the Lightning. He has started all but one game this season and has been dominant with an 8-1 record and a .936 save percentage that sits #2 overall among goalies with five or more starts. Even after a few rough starts early where the offense backed him up, he has rebounded in a big way and has only allowed five goals against over his last five starts. Tonight he gets another top matchup as the Bolts are huge -220 home favorites facing a struggling Red Wings team that has lost five straight games. Vasilevskiy has reached a season-high salary on both sites but is still in play in all formats. Michal Neuvirth FD - $7400 DK - $7400 Opponent - OTT Proj Pts FD - 14.48 DK - 3.62 If you are playing tournaments and looking for some upside and separation, consider Michal Neuvirth. He is the Flyers backup which helps keep his price in the mid $7K range on both sites and he has been terrific to start the season. Through three starts, he has allowed just four goals for a league-leading .957 save % but has fallen on some bad luck and lost two of those games. The Flames own the 4th worst offense in the league with only 2.50 goals scored per game and Rinne's record is currently 3-0 in his home barn. The veteran netminder has been absolute money on home-ice this season and he is an elite play in every single format this evening. Vegas is down to their third-string goalie who I watched play the other night and he looked decent, but starting your first ever NHL game is an entirely different thing. I feel that this puts a lot less pressure on Crawford since his team should be able to score a few goals today. He is having a great start to the year as he has a 1.86 GAA and a .945 save % through seven games but because of the fact that the Hawks are on the road, I do not like targeting Crawford in cash game formats, but I believe that he is a solid GPP play this evening. The only hesitation in using him in GPP's is the upside has been somewhat limited as the Stars have been excellent at suppressing shots as Bishop has only faced 26 per game. The Stars are currently comfortable -135 home favorites which have him as my top cash game play of the night between the pipes. Corey Crawford FD - $9300 DK - $8400 Opponent - ARI Proj Pts FD - 15.46 DK - 3.87 We can't talk about hot starts for teams looking to rebound without touching on the Blackhawks and Corey Crawford. Since winning the Stanley Cup in the 2014-15 season the Hawks were eliminated in the first round in back to back years and missed the playoffs altogether last season. The Montreal Canadiens are an absolute mess right now and this will be their third west-coast game in four nights, which is a very tough task for an east-coast team. The Canadiens have scored only 1.43 goals per game so far which is by far the worst in the entire league and the Ducks are a respectable 14th in the league with 2.83 goals allowed per game. Gibson has a save % of .923 and has allowed two goals or less in his last four games. He is an elite play in all formats this evening. Chad Johnson FD - $7600 DK - $7600 Opponent - VAN Proj Pts FD - 17.63 DK - 4.41 The Sabres aren't great and I understand that, but they are improving and this a great situation for them to get a win tonight as the Canucks are playing in back-to-back road games. Buffalo is currently -165 favorites according to Vegas and the Canucks are ranked 26th in the league with only 2.50 goals scored per game. Johson did give up five goals in an overtime loss to the Golden Knights in his last start on the road, so he's probably better served as a GPP option only, but this just too favorable of a spot to ignore Johnson this evening.
