GOALIE Andrei Vasilevskiy FD - $9300 DK - $8500 Opponent - EDM Proj Pts FD - 25.04 DK - 18.88 Vasilevskiy is the most expensive option on both sites and for good reason, as he has returned to Vezina form in a huge way since early December going 20-1-2 in his last 23 starts with an impressive .934 save %. He enters tonight's matchup as an early -205 home favorite as the Oilers come to town without arguably the best player in the world in Connor McDavid who is out 2-3 weeks with a quad injury. Despite some amazing values on both sites tonight, I am locked into Vasilevskiy as my top goalie in all options. Elvis Merzlikins FD - $8800 DK - $7300 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 21.39 DK - 16.37 One of those values that immediately jumped off the page when I loaded data into the sheet was Elvis Merlizikins in the low $7K range on DraftKings. Joonas Korpisalo is traveling with the team but still unlikely to get a start on Thursday which would get Merlikins another start and he has been nothing short of incredible in Korpisalo's absence. He is coming off back to back losses(one in OT) but only allowed two goals in each of those games and now has a ridiculous .959 save % over his last 10 starts with five(5!!) shutouts. The only hesitation is the start comes on the road but the good news is that he faces the 21st ranked offense in Buffalo. He is GPP only for me on FanDuel but is in play in all formats on DraftKings at just $7,300. Mackenzie Blackwood FD - $7500 DK - $7800 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 20.11 DK - 14.62 On FanDuel, the value play I am targeting is Blackwood who...

GOALIE Carey Price FD - $8700 DK - $8300 Opponent - ANA Proj Pts FD - 22.43 DK - 16.7 For a while, it appeared the Habs would not win another game(joking mostly) but they have bounced back in a big way winning seven of their last 10 games. Not only has the offense stepped up, Price has been terrific posting a .940 save % and two shutouts in his last 10 starts for an average of 19.4 DK/24.9 FD points per game. Tonight the Habs are at home as big -185 favorites against a Ducks team that ranks 28th in road offense scoring just 2.3 goals per game. The Price is right is tonight and he is a go in all formats. Brian Elliott FD - $8000 DK - $8200 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 19.49 DK - 13.92 Speaking of teams rising fast in the standings on the back of a hot goalie, the Flyers come into this one with a 7-2-1 record over their last 10 games. Elliott has been getting the lion's share of the work between the pipes lately with Carter Hart injured and comes into this one with shutouts in two of his last three starts and has won four of his last five. Like Price, he also gets a plus matchup against a Devils team that has lost six of their last seven games and rank 25th in road offense on the season scoring just 2.4 goals per game. I prefer Price in cash games on DraftKings but the decision is a little closer on FanDuel given Elliott comes at a $800 discount. Also Consider: Semyon Varlamov/Thomas Greiss(NYI) in a plus matchup at home vs. the Kings 27th...

GOALIE Alexandar Georgiev FD - $7500 DK - $7400 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 19.94 DK - 15.16 From a fantasy standpoint, these last few slates before the All-Star Break are horrendous. Tonight is definitely the best of them with five games but still not great and it starts with goaltending, or the lack thereof. I will be focusing on Georgiev who has faced these Islanders in each of his last two starts beating them both times and stopping 70 of 74 shots(.946 save %) in the process. Overall, he has flashed all season and sits with a .913 save % coming into this one where the Rangers are small favorites over the Isles and their 18th ranked road offense. Given the lack of options and the fact Georgiev comes in the mid $7K range on both sites, he will be my core goalie in all formats. Also Consider: Matt Murra(PIT) as a GPP play, especially on DraftKings, coming in hot having won five straight while posting a .926 save % or Sergei Bobrovsky(FLA) as a value option coming in hot winning three straight starts with a .925 save % CENTERS Mika Zibanejad FD - $7500 DK - $6900 Opponent - NYI Proj Pts FD - 19.04 DK - 14.95 At center, I am going to build around Mika Zibanejad for multiple reasons starting with the slight discount from the Penguins centers who face a Flyers team that has been much better defensively at home. After that, it comes down to shot volume as Zibanejad is coming off a six-shot game against Columbus and five-shot, two-point game against these Islanders. He has tallied 33 shots in his last 10 games and for the season averages over four combined shots/blocks per game giving him a high floor and with the upside, he is my favorite play at the position tonight. Stack with: Chris Kreider, Artemi Panarin(PP) Sean Couturier FD - $6700 DK - $6000 Opponent - PIT Proj Pts FD - 13.09 DK - 10.25 On the season, Coots hasn't been as consistent as the Flyers or their fans(me!) would like but he stands...

GOALIE Ilya Samsonov FD - $8200 DK - $8300 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 21.57 DK - 15.48 The Capitals open as massive -305 home favorites in this game which automatically puts the entire team on the fantasy radar. Let's start at goalie with Samsonov who has been arguably the best goalie in hockey since mid-November winning eight of his last nine starts with a very impressive .933 save % and an average of 16.9 DK/23.1 FD points per game. He now gets to face a Devils team that ranks 30th overall on offense scoring 2.7 goals per game and have been worse on the road scoring just 2.5 per game. Samsonov is my top goalie in all formats on FanDuel where he is the 10th most expensive option at the position and is second to only my next write-up on DraftKings. Ben Bishop FD - $9100 DK - $8200 Opponent - BUF Proj Pts FD - 23.08 DK - 17.13 On DraftKings, it is more of a 1A/1B situation with Samsonov and Ben Bishop who also checks almost every box tonight. Like Samsonov, he has been very good lately winning four straight while stopping 140 of 146 shots(.959 save %). The Stars are also big favorites(-210) tonight at home where Bishop has been elite with a .939 save % while winning 11 of 16 games and now faces a Sabres team that has dropped eight of their last 10 road games. Bishop is in play in all formats. Also Consider: Thomas Greiss(NYI) as a projected low-owned pivot who is in a plus matchup at home as a -170 favorite CENTERS Nathan MacKinnon FD - $8700 DK - $7900 Opponent - SJ Proj Pts FD - 23.96 DK - 18.99 MacKinnon leads all skaters in raw points projections tonight as he seemingly checks every single box. It starts with the elite floor he provides as he has a whopping 49 shots in his last 10 games and that is backed up by the 5th best iCorsi/60 rate(shot att) in the league this year. He also gives...

The offense has been tremendous but a huge reason for the success has been the return to Vezina form for Vasilevskiy who is coming off back to back shutouts and has won eight straight starts while r3cording an elite .946 save %. Tonight, he is in a terrific spot as a -285 home favorite against the Kings who have dropped seven of their last 10 games and also rank 27th offensively on the road. Fire up Vasilevskiy in all formats. Tristan Jarry FD - $8500 DK - $8200 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 22.33 DK - 16.92 On Draftkings, I am pretty much locked in on Vasilevskiy as my cash goalie but on FanDuel it is a little closer and I would really consider Jarry here. He has given up three goals in each of his last four starts but has been tremendous for the Penguins lately(8-1-1 with a .925 save % over his last 10 starts) and all season(15-6-1 with a .932 save %). Like Vasilevskiy, Jarry and Penguins are also in a plus matchup tonight as a -190 home favorite against the Wild who have lost five of their last seven games while scoring just one goal in four of them. Jarry can be considered in all formats on FanDuel and is an excellent pivot off Vasilevskiy on DraftKings. CENTERS Auston Matthews FD - $8600 DK - $7700 Opponent - NJ Proj Pts FD - 22.43 DK - 17.28 The center position is loaded once again and while MacKinnon tops the raw points projections he draws a tough matchup against the Stars #1 rated defense.
