Quarterbacks Dak Prescott FD 7700 DK 6700 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Cooper Rush FD 6100 DK 5000 Opponent CIN Proj Points FD - 11.81 DK - 12.44 Prescott underwent surgery on his thumb and while he was not placed on the IR, he will miss multiple games paving the way for Cooper Rush to take over under center. It is a huge downgrade not only at the position but also affects the entire offense as a whole and the reason I have listed it here. The biggest downgrade goes to CeeDee Lamb who not only gets another tough matchup against the Bengals but has also seen his price increase from week one. This Cowboys offense is a full fade for me until Dak comes back. Zach Wilson FD 6400 DK 5000 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 0 DK - 0 Joe Flacco FD 6400 DK 5100 Opponent CLE Proj Points FD - 11.53 DK - 12.14 Another offense I will be fading until their quarterback returns is the New York Jets with backup Joe Flacco under center. Wilson could return as soon as Week 4. Running Backs Alvin Kamara FD 7200 DK 7400 Opponent TB Proj Points FD - 11.7 DK - 13.05 Kamara showed up on the injury report this week after sustaining a rib injury in the Saints win last week. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and while he attended practice on Thursday, he did not partake in any drills. He is listed as questionable for their Week 2 matchup against the Bucs and the downside for the Saints here is that backup running back Mark Ingram is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Best to avoid the Saints backfield this week. D'Andre Swift FD 8200 DK 7000 Opponent WAS Proj Points FD - 15.85 DK - 17.59 Swift is dealing with an ankle injury and was a non-participant in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. While listed as questionable for the Lions week 2 matchup against the Commanders, Swift did return to practice on Friday and is...

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 2

Posted by on Sep 16, 2022 in featured, Football Strategy |

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 2 Week one is in the books and it's now time to gear up for another profitable week. Doug once again got things started with his Cash Game article and now I will be looking at some of my favorite stacks to help you take down GPP contests. I am going to do things a little different and look at a wide variety of stacks including the chalky/most popular choices, some off-the-board stacks, as well as some leverage/low-owned stacks to help us separate our lineups from the herd. Let's get started. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. High Floor/High Upside Chalk - Las Vegas Raiders Derek Carr FD 7300 DK 6200 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 17.58 DK - 18.4 Davante Adams FD 8800 DK 8600 Opponent ARI Proj Points FD - 21.48 DK - 26.16 There is a good chance this stack is the most popular one this week and it makes a ton of sense as it provides us both a very high floor and ceiling. Adams came over to the Raiders in the offseason to join his College teammate Derek Carr and while we were unsure how it would work out going into the season, we learned a ton in week one. Carr targeted Adams 17 times for an insane 46% target share(highest in the league) and while Adams only caught 10 of them, he turned it into 141 yards, got into the endzone once, and tallied 33 DK/25.1 FD points. The price justifiably went up on both of them as they return to Las Vegas for their home opener in another terrific matchup. They face the Cardinals who got destroyed by the Chiefs in week one giving up 360 passing yards and five passing touchdowns to Patrick Mahomes. While it was Travis Kelce(8-121-1) doing most of the damage, the Cards did not have a corner that rated out better than 75th in week one when looking at coverage rankings(via PFF). This game has the highest total(51.5) on the main slate by a wide margin with the Raiders favoured by 5.5 points. This is easily my favorite stack of the week and one I will build around in all formats. Other options to stack in this game: Darren Waller(TE) makes a ton of sense after seeing what Travis Kelce did to this defense a week ago. Waller was good, not great in week one catching 4 of 6 targets for 79 yards. The...

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Leverage Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 1

Daily Fantasy NFL GPP Leverage Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Week 1 The 2022 NFL season is back and we are ready to deliver all of our DFS content week in and week out. Doug got things started earlier in the week with his cash game picks and now it's time to look at some GPP stacks that may could be under-the-radar and help us get to the GPP pot of gold. Let's get started. Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NFL and MLB optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! New Orleans Saints Jameis Winston FD 6700 DK 5300 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 17.56 DK - 18.2 Alvin Kamara FD 8500 DK 7600 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 15.96 DK - 17.6 Chris Olave FD 5000 DK 4500 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 6.76 DK - 8.14 Let's kick things off with the Saints who have one of the best matchups in week one against a Falcons defense that ranked 29th in both rushing and passing DVOA in 2021 and made minimal improvements in the offseason. While you would think with this matchup they would be higher owned I just don't think that will be the case with the lowest totals(41.5) on the slate combined with so many other great options that won't be hard to stack given the very fair week one pricing. Let's start with Jameis Winston who is no stranger to chucking the ball downfield with 12+ yards per completion in all six seasons in which he has started at least seven games. He comes into the 2022 season with better weapons including the return of Michael Thomas(questionable for week one) and the Saints also drafted Chris Olave with the 11th pick and with Thomas and Landry expected to dominate the underneath routes, Olave should get a lot of work downfield which brings with it a ton of fantasy upside. If he comes out and shines in week one, there is a chance his price takes a huge jump into week two so this could be the time to buy low and get in before he becomes a household name. There is a chance Michael Thomas misses week one as he is dealing with an injury and that has me wanting some exposure to Alvin Kamara. I am not normally stacking running backs with my QB/WR stacks but Kamara fits as he is one of the best pass-catching backs in the league. What I like most about Kamara in GPP as he will provide some leverage off the very...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Divisional Round Saturday – Sunday Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Divisional Round Saturday - Sunday Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Josh Allen FD 8800 DK 7600 Opponent KCProj Points FD - 23.38 DK - 24.02 Josh Allen is coming off one of the most impressive playoff performances you will ever see. In a complete dismantling of the Patriots in the Wild Card round, Allen through for 308 yards and five touchdowns on only 25 total attempts. He also put up 66 rushing yards for good measure and the Bills won 47-17. Now he’ll take things to Kansas City in what should be a high-scoring game between these two teams. Considering how Allen has scored his points all year, he’s a pretty tough fade in this scenario. There is just almost no way he’s not putting up enough points to hit value in this one again the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes FD 8500 DK 7300 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 21.68 DK - 22.16 These two are facing each other and are pretty far ahead of the rest of the field when it comes to fantasy scoring. It looks like even at the top of the price scale, you are playing one or the other in cash. Mahomes is coming off a peak game of his own last week, going for 404 yards and five touchdowns in the easy win over the Steelers. Sure, he had to throw a bit more because of Kansas City falling down early, but it only just added up to more points. This game could be a shootout with both teams likely to keep their collective feet on the gas the whole time. Running Back Jerick McKinnon FD 6000 DK 4800 Opponent BUFProj Points FD - 12.47 DK - 13.97 This is a close one here. On the one hand, he looked as good as any Kansas City Chief running back has looked this season last week against the Steelers. Frankly, he looked like the guy the 49ers signed to a big contract a couple of years ago. On the other hand, if Clyde Edwards-Helaire is back full then all of a sudden the Chiefs have kind of a crowded backfield and things could get weird in terms of reps. Because of the price, I’m tempted to just role with McKinnon here and hope KC is playing the hit hand. But he’s not as close as a lock as you...

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wild Card Weekend – Sunday Main Slate

Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings Wild Card Weekend - Sunday Main Slate Want access to the projections that power these picks? For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and NBA - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterback Patrick Mahomes FD 8700 DK 7400 Opponent PITProj Points FD - 24.7 DK - 25.26 Mahomes is projected significantly higher than any other quarterback on this slate, and it’s for good reason. After struggling a bit to start the season, especially in the interception department, that was all turned around late and he finished the season strong. Over the last five weeks, Mahomes threw 12 touchdowns to just one pick, completing more than 70% of his passes in the process. The Steelers have been a good defense against the pass this season, but the Chiefs are heavy favorites at home here and Mahomes clearly has the highest floor of this group. Dak Prescott FD 8000 DK 6400 Opponent SFProj Points FD - 17.64 DK - 18.29 We have Mahomes projected for significantly more than any other quarterback on this Sunday slate, so getting away from him in cash games isn’t a direction I’m going. But if that were the case, I think we can pivot to Dak Prescott who is coming $700 less on both sites. The Cowboys have the second-highest implied total on the slate at home against the 49ers. And Dad has been accurate of late, completing passes at more than a 70% clip over his last four games. He’s also got out and run a bit more in that stretch as well. Again, I much prefer Mahomes here, but lineups might be just a bit easier to build with Dak under center. Running Back Leonard Fournette FD 7300 DK 5900 Opponent PHIProj Points FD - 18.32 DK - 20.88 Fournette is fully healthy now and looks like he will take back over lead-back duties for the Buccaneers. In his last full week before the injury, Fournette played 80% of the snaps and touched the ball 26 times (19 carries, seven targets). He should get right back into a similar role against the Eagles and Tampa Bay is a -6.5 home favorite in this one. The price is palatable on Fournette here and I suspect he’s a popular play considering the circumstances. Elijah Mitchell FD 7400 DK 5500 Opponent DALProj Points FD - 15.7 DK - 16.25 This is a trickier slate when it comes to running back with a lot of the situations tough to trust. We do know that...
