First of all, there's no real such thing as a "sleeper," in that you're not really going to sleep on a guy until he wakes up. What you're looking at with cheap plays are guys who are priced very reasonably who could go off if all things break right. Sniffing out the best cheap plays with upside is really the only way to have a chance in hell at taking down some of these utterly massive NFL tournaments. You'll pay up for the big names, and then hope your bargain plays pay off. That's where we come in - here are some sleepers that we love for Week 16. On to the picks Jonathan Stewart - FD 6200 DK 5200 DD 9100 DFSTR Stewart has topped 20 touches in each of his last two games, putting up a legitimately excellent fantasy night against the Saints two weeks ago. And now? He gets his best match-up of the season: Cleveland's 31st ranked run defense, and their offense that couldn't score if its life depended on it. If offenses had a life. I was going to say "couldn't score on prom night," but that sounded too stupid. Sue me. Where was I? Right. I think the Panthers will be content to drive it down Cleveland's throat, especially after the way the Bengals' run game tore them to shreds last week. Love this spot. Fred Jackson - FD 6700 DK 5500 DD 9450 DFSTR Jackson is back, and he's clearly the man in Buffalo. He competently salted away a big win against the Packers, accumulating nearly 100 total yards on 23 touches. And now he'll square off against the pitiful Raiders. I just can't imagine for a...

Daily Fantasy Football Week 16 Picks – DraftKings – “Three Tiers!”

Posted by on Dec 20, 2014 in featured, Uncategorized, Weekly Fantasy Football Picks | 0 comments

Daily Fantasy Football Picks for Week 16 - DraftKings DFSR is excited to bring you Bryce McVay. Dude knows his stuff and he'll be bringing you picks specifically for DraftKings with an emphasis on that site's scoring system and value. We are pumped to have a great new voice in the DFS landscape. Ready to make the leap and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces these picks? Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel, Draftster, and DraftKings. And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baseball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. Want picks for FanDuel, Draftster, and Draftster as well? Check em out. I will be providing a slightly different strategy to my picks. Specifically, I am going to give three tiers for each position. I can’t put an exact price range on where mid-level picks begin and end, but generally if two players differ by over $1,000 then they are separate tiers. The chief reason for these tiers is to show that there is more than one way to skin a cat, or this case win a double up. If you choose plays based on tiers and create a short list, then this gives you multiple ways to form a lineup. Start creating lineups using a high-end QB and see what you produce. Then start over with a high-end RB and so on and so forth. Compare the lineups and make the call on which one you feel is the highest producer. This method will eliminate the problem of getting to your last one or two positions and simply picking the highest priced player at those remaining positions. If you get down to the last few spots and realize you have too much or too little cap space left then it’s back to the drawing board. You want to avoid picking plays because you have the room. Stick to your short list. One final note, I only play DraftKings and I have noticed that DK is not offering very many leagues that include the Saturday games. My favorite style of league are the guaranteed prize pool double-ups, thus I am only offering picks for the Sunday games as these are the leagues I will be playing in. I wish everybody a very special and happy holidays as we creep near 2015 and look forward to bringing in the New Year with my family and friends. Quarterback Generally, the QB position is underpriced this week. I don’t think there is much reason to get creativity. Nevertheless, I will still create multiple lineups with...
