DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Sunday, 12/4
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 12/4/22 The injuries have been awful this season, but we're starting to turn things around. We've had a multitude of All-Stars return this week, and more are right around the corner. That can cause some chaos from a DFS perspective, but it's imperative to capitalize on these moves and adjust your process as quickly as possible. We feel like we've done that here, so let's start with one of the most exciting players in the NBA. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Ja Morant FD - $9900 DK - $10500 Opponent - DET Proj Pts FD - 49.4 DK - 50.69 Morant is the most exciting player in the NBA. He's become even better with Desmond Bane (toe) sidelined, posting a 37 percent usage rate with Bane off the floor this year. That's led to Ja scoring at least 41 DraftKings points in 13 of his last 14 games, totaling a 47-point average in that span. He's also flashed a 73-point upside this year, scoring at least 57 fantasy points on six occasions. We believe one of those ceiling games is in play against this disastrous Detroit defense, with the Pistons ranked 29th in both defensive efficiency and points allowed. The minutes, usage, and shot attempts are all up with Bane out, making Ja one of the safest plays on the slate. Cameron Payne FD - $6800 DK - $6900 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 34.38 DK - 35.54 Payne has been phenomenal when filling in for Chris Paul over the last two years. In 12 starts for CP3 last season, Payne provided a 34-point average across 30 minutes a night. He's made precisely 12 starts for Paul again this year, averaging 33 DK points per game across 32 minutes a night. It's obviously a trend at this point, and it's hard to understand why he's still below $7,000 on both sites. He's also coming off a season-high 49 DraftKings points in his most recent outing and has the best matchup in fantasy here. San Antonio sits dead last in points allowed and defensive efficiency. Tyrese Haliburton (FD $9400 DK $9100) is leading the NBA in assists and should go nuts against a defensively inept Portland backcourt. Shooting...

Guards Stephen Curry FD - $10500 DK - $10900 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 53.32 DK - 58.72 We have another small Saturday slate with very few top-tier players which makes it easy to pencil Cury in as our top overall pick tonight. It helps this game has the highest total on the board and Steph gets to play the third-worst defence in the league in a projected fast-paced game. For Steph, he has been one of the most consistent fantasy players this season averaging 30.8 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.9 rebounds and has tallied 44 or more DraftKings points in 19 of 21 games. The only thing that could spoil the party is a blowout but on a four-game slate, I am not overly worried and will have a ton of exposure in all formats. Anfernee Simons FD - $8400 DK - $8300 Opponent - UTA Proj Pts FD - 40.24 DK - 44.41 Despite a peaking price point, Simons comes into Saturday's action checking every box and it starts with sheer volume. While Portland has struggled with Lillard out of the lineup(1-5), Simons has benefited in a big way for fantasy playing 37 or more minutes in all six games while averaging 21 shots, almost three more per game. He is not only getting the volume, he is delivering on the rising price averaging just over 42 fantasy points a game and flashing 50+ point upside multiple times. In a matchup against a Jazz team who are playing on a back-to-back, rank 24th in defensive efficiency, and 10th in pace, Simons is my top play at the guard position tonight. D'Angelo Russell FD - $6800 DK - $6800 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 38.43 DK - 41.34 From a PTS/$ standpoint, our system absolutely loves Russell in this spot as this game has the second-highest total(231) on the slate as the Timberwolves are home to the Thunder. After a slow and very inconsistent start to the season, Russell found some consistency over the last month shooting around 10% better from the field while also adding about two assists per game which has also led to three double-doubles in his last five. I am not a fan of the rising price but it is very relative to the size of the slate so I will lock...

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Jordan Clarkson FD - $6600 DK - $7100Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 36.14 DK - 40.51 Collin Sexton FD - $5100 DK - $5500Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 31.11 DK - 33.79 The Jazz are likely to be popular plays on this slate going up against the Pacers at home. The game has the highest implied total on the schedule at 238.5 and that’s about five points higher than the next-closest game. While it was assumed Utah would fully be in the tank for this season, that’s been anything but the case and they are actually 13-11 with a +1.6 point differential. A big reason has been Clarkson who is averaging career highs in points (19.5 per game) and assists (4.9). Much of it has simply been from the minutes boost with starting, but we’ll take it. He’s coming at fair prices on both sites. And then there is Collin Sexton who has been getting the starts with Mike Conley out. And that’s going to be the case again in this game. His minutes ceiling isn’t as high as Clarkson’s in the backcourt, but he should be good for at least 30 in this one. He’s taken double-digit shots in each of the last three games and scored 20 or more in two of them. He’s kind of score or bust from a fantasy perspective but the price on both sites is totally fair in the lower-$5K range. Cameron Payne FD - $6000 DK - $6400Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 32.44 DK - 35.31 It hasn’t looked particularly good for Payne over the last few games even though he’s still starting for the injured Chris Paul. He hasn’t been getting up quite as many shots as before and the assists numbers have dropped as well. But on Friday he gets the Rockets who are the third-worst defense in the league while running a top-10 pace. I do think there is still value on Payne here with such a good matchup and the price stagnating in the $6K range. Small Forward Lauri Markkanen FD - $7500 DK - $7900Opponent - INDProj Pts...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Wednesday, 11/30
FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 11/30/22 We could be in for a wild slate here. We have 26 of the 30 NBA teams taking the floor, leaving us with one of the largest player pools of the season. With large player pools come lengthy injury reports. We have dozens of big-name players missing out today, and more will be coming. With that in mind, let's kick things off with the point guards. Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our MLB Optimizer, and NHL Projections as well. Plus, our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Jamal Murray FD - $7100 DK - $7200 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 36.44 DK - 37.33 Murray got off to a slow start in his return from ACL surgery, but he's been rolling recently. The Nuggets point guard has at least 33 DraftKings points in 10 of his last 11 games, scoring 45 fantasy points in three of his last four. That's the bubble Murray we saw a few years ago, and he was approaching a five-figure price tag when he played like that in Orlando. One of those 45-point gems came against the Rockets, which is no surprise since they rank 24th in points allowed and 28th in defensive efficiency while surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing PGs. He also did that damage in just 25 minutes in that blowout, and it'd be scary to see the line he could post in his usual 35 minutes. De'Anthony Melton FD - $6200 DK - $7600 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 34.94 DK - 34.41 Um, why did these DFS sites drop Melton's price? It has to be because of the return of Joel Embiid, but that doesn't really matter. The Sixers are still missing Tyrese Maxey and James Harden, leaving Melton with as many backcourt minutes as he can handle. The stat-stuffer has scored at least 23 DK points in 13 of his last 15 games, generating a 32-point average in that span. That's all you can ask for from a player in this price range, and it should continue with Harden and Maxey's monster usage sitting on the sidelines. He's also flashed a 40-point upside four times over the last three weeks, and he can do that anytime with his elite per-minute averages. Tyrese Haliburton (FD $9600...
Luka Doncic against the Warriors leads the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Tuesday, November 29, 2022
Luka Doncic against the Warriors leads the DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks - Tuesday, November 29, 2022 Head on over for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, NFL optimal lineups, and our NHL Optimizer. Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Luka Doncic FD - $12000 DK - $12600Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 59.7 DK - 64.03 On a short slate, it won’t be easy to fit Luka Doncic’s salary into lineups simply because we might not find enough savings. But he’s a tough fade here all things considered. For a guy who was already a superstar and MVP candidate, Doncic has taken it to even another level, averaging 33 points per game to go with his 8.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists. This game against the Warriors has the highest total (227.5) of the three and should be an up-and-down affair. It’s easier to fit Doncic on FanDuel where the price is a little lower, but DraftKings will be a tough pull unless a true punt comes into play, which might not be the case. Jalen Brunson FD - $8600 DK - $7700Opponent - DETProj Pts FD - 41.92 DK - 44.52 The Knicks get the best matchup of the slate against the Detroit Pistons who rank 29th in defensive efficiency on the season. This game has a 225 over/ under with the Knicks as -4 favorites. Brunson has stepped it up of late, averaging 30.8 points and 6.8 assists over the last four games. One of those was an overtime game, but he’s taking more than 20 shots per game in that stretch. The Knicks are desperate for a win here after losing three of their last four. I think he plays a lot of minutes as long as the game stays close. Reggie Jackson FD - $5500 DK - $5300Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 28.47 DK - 32.05 With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and now John Wall out for this game, it sure seems like Reggie Jackson should be in line for major minutes. After all, the Clippers are way down on scorers and guys who can create their own shots. But Jackson’s minutes and production have been a bit variable this season, which is one of the reasons his price remains in the lower middle tier. But I do think this is the prime spot for him to...
