Luka had a brief three game lull for a few different reasons - weird game scripts and tough match-ups primarily - but got back in the saddle with a devastating 25/15/17 line against the Kings. While Doncic is not a traditional point guard, it's worth noting that his combination of size and vision matches up very well against Portland's undersized back court. I love Luka in all formats on FanDuel, and he should be the highest owned big money option on the slate. Shabazz Napier FD - $5000 DK - $5000 Opponent - IND Proj Pts FD - 31.37 DK - 32.01 With Teague out of the picture permanently and no replacement imminent, Napier is positioned to slide right back into the role he inhabited when Teague was injured earlier in the year. In the last two games Teague missed Napier put together an average line of 21/4.5/5 in 32 minutes of action. He is far too cheap for that level of production, and while Indiana is far from an ideal match-up thanks to their slow pace and solid defense this is just a price and opportunity mismatch that we aren't likely to pass up. Chris Paul FD - $7000 DK - $6900 Opponent - MIA Proj Pts FD - 38.61 DK - 39.1 CP3 hasn't been a flashy play this season, but he has been a solid one on these prices. He's averaged almost exactly 5x points per dollar on these prices all season, and he's been even better recently. He's playing slightly longer rotations than he was earlier this year while supplying his same solid production, and it looks like the sites have over-corrected for a challenging Miami match-up. While Holiday has been out for a while, FanDuel has not totally accounted for what his absence means for Ball, as you can probably tell by the disparity between his FanDuel and DraftKings prices. Ball has averaged a triple double in his last three games, has topped 30 in his last 8, and even performed against these very Jazz in that stretch. In that meeting the Pelicans put up 126 points in regulation, and Ball chipped in 21/8/7 in the effort. He's just too cheap on FanDuel right now, and almost match-up proof at these prices. Elfrid Payton FD - $5700 DK - $5500 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 31.37 DK - 31.06 The trick to playing Knicks this season is grabbing the right Knicks in the right game scripts. Payton has, at times, been one of those "right Knicks," as he should have a lot of time of possession in a roughly 32 minute rotation in close games. Phoenix isn't a dream match-up these days, but they are still plenty solid, playing the league's 10th fastest pace with league average defensive efficiency. Something like the 15/6/7 he put up against New Orleans is very much in play here. Also considered: Kemba Walker, though I'll be monitoring his status on the second half of a back to back. Shooting Guard Lou Williams FD - $6200 DK - $6900 Opponent - ORL Proj Pts FD - 38.57 DK - 40.44 Lou Will grabbed a start on Sunday against the Nuggets and more than answered the call, putting together a solid 26/4/4 in 34 minutes. He headed back to the bench against the Cavs, but I don't think we can draw a lot of conclusions about his reduced playing time given that the Clippers were up by 35 heading into the fourth quarter. We're talking about a guy who's averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds per game while leading the team with a 31 percent usage rate.  That's a ton of usage to make-up and it has turned Simmons into one of the best fantasy producers in the NBA. Not only has he scored at least 35 DK points in 15-straight games, Simmons is also averaging 17.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 2.2 steals per game in that stretch. That's all you can hope for, especially against a 19th-ranked Nets defense.  Tomas Satoransky FD - $4600 DK - $6000Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 27.88 DK - 27.82 Satoransky's price on DraftKings is a bit surprising with his recent struggles but it's more indicative of where he should be priced at in a matchup like this. Playing against the Wizards is a treat for anyone, with Washington ranked dead-last in both points allowed and defensive efficiency. Not to mention, they own a 30th OPRK against opposing PGs according to DraftKings. We have to love that for a stat-stuffing player like Sato, with the versatile point guard averaging 27.8 DraftKings points per game across his last 14 fixtures, despite playing poor recently. While he's still posting a double-double every game, scoring no fewer than 19 points on a given night, and stuffing the stat sheet until it bursts, Doncic has failed to pay value in three straight contests. This has brought his FanDuel price down to earth a bit. This could not come at a better time as Doncic and the Mavs head west for a game against the hapless Warriors. Golden State is a bottom dweller not only in the standings, but also defensively against opposing point guards. This is an excellent time to take a chance on Luka, who should dominate tonight, crushing value on FanDuel, and though the DraftKings price is up there, the matchup warrants exposure across the industry. Patrick Beverley FD - $5100 DK - $5300 Opponent - CLE Proj Pts FD - 32.32 DK - 31.74 Since we kicked this thing off with a top tier stud, let's balance the point with a bit of value, shall we? It was his second straight double-double and his fourth in his last seven contests, a stretch during which he's managed to pay at least 6X PPD (points per dollar) in all but one game. At this point, it seems Ball is a lock to pick up at least 30 minutes per game, and he remains underpriced across the industry. On a night with so much uncertainty, Ball feels like a sure thing for your cash game needs. Derrick Rose FD - $6900 DK - $6700 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 38.42 DK - 39.01 If you haven't been paying attention, you may not have noticed that Derrick Rose has been looking quite sharp out there lately. He's riding a streak of five straight games scoring 20+ points, and since January 1st he's scored 1.31 fantasy points per minute in just about 30 minutes per game. This has brought his price up in the short term, but in a pace up contest against the Pelicans who allow the fourth-most fantasy soring to opposing point guards, Rose should have little trouble paying value even at a slightly inflated cost. Consider Ben Simmons (FD $8200 DK $8200), he vanished in the second half the other night against the Mavericks, but still managed to pay off 5.5X PPD, and will continue to be the heart of the Sixers game plan while Joel Embiid remains out.
