After a day off on Tuesday, the NBA is back with a vengeance with a massive 12 game slate of action on Wednesday. The potential debut of Zion Williamson has people buzzing, but for DFS purposes we're focusing on other things tonight. It's certainly a night to look for overwhelming value, with plays like Kemba Walker, Buddy Hield, Donovan Mitchell, Monte Morris, and Marvin Bagley still looking very under-priced. While we aren't forecasting a lot of true sub-$4,000 plays to enable a stars and scrubs strategy, you should be able to capture enough excellent mid-range value to play either Harden or LeBron. Which of the superstars to play is sort of a debate here, with Doug and James taking opposite sides on the discussion. Tune in to hear a break down of every single game on the slate, and all you need to know before jumping in to contests on FanDuel and...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Wednesday 1/22/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 1/22/20 After a crazy 14-game slate on Monday and a bizarre one-gamer on Tuesday, we're back at it with 12 games here. What I love is that we have only one double-digit spread. That's a DFS player's dream after a ton of blowouts on Monday and it makes the picks so much easier to make. With that in mind, let's kick things off with one of the hottest players in the NBA!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Ben Simmons FD - $9300 DK - $9300Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 51.07 DK - 51.82 Ever since Joel Embiid went down with injury, Simmons has been one of the best players in the NBA. In fact, the Aussie is averaging 21.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 2.1 steals across his last nine games played. The most important part about that is that he's averaging 40 minutes a game in that span while handling the ball on nearly every possession. That's led to a 53-point average on DraftKings while scoring at least 45 fantasy points in all but one of those games.  Monte Morris FD - $4000 DK - $4800Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 30.08 DK - 29.75 All of the injuries in Denver have really opened up things for Morris. While his fantasy production hasn't been great, there are signs that it will turn around shortly. When starting at point guard last season, Morris averaged 31 fantasy points per game. That looked like the guy we saw on Monday against the T'Wolves, with Morris dropping 27 DK points across 36 minutes of action. If he plays 36 minutes, we love him against a Houston club who surrenders the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. As long as Gary Harris and Jamal Murray remain out, Morris continues to be a great value below $5,000.  Goran Dragic and Dejounte Murray are both in consideration facing two of the worst defenses in the NBA (Washington and New Orleans). Shooting Guard Donovan Mitchell FD - $6200 DK - $7800Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 39.62 DK - 41.02 This FanDuel price is simply ridiculous. If you take out one dud where Mitchell played just 21 minutes...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday 1/20/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday 1/20/20 Monday in the NBA hits hard with 14 games spread throughout the day, and the sites are all over the place with how they break it down. While DraftKings packs nine games into their early slate, the FanDuel early consists of only three contests. This would make giving you early/main slate plays a real headache, so I'm just going to breakdown some of the top plays at each position for the entire day. Then if you need more feel free to pop on into our members chat for even more analysis right up until each slate locks. Not a member? Well then there is no time like the present to hit that red banner down there and get your free trial, but first, let's check out some picks! We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Lonzo Ball FD - $6700 DK - $7000 Opponent - MEM Proj Pts FD - 38.03 DK - 39.11 Lonzo Ball has been playing some of the best hoops of his young career this season. In just the past few weeks he's posted three triple-doubles which doubles his career total, and the Pelicans aren't shy about giving him complete run of the boards with him averaging 42 minutes per game over his last three. So it's a mystery why the sites aren't budging on his price. DraftKings has even decreased the cost by almost $1K just over the weekend. Since December 29, Ball is averaging 38.18 fantasy points per game, which should have him priced in the low to mid $7K range, making him an absolute bargain. Memphis come into the day with the 25th ranked defense from a fantasy perspective, allowing the fourth-most points and second-most rebounds to opposing point guards. Another triple-double could very well be in the cards for Ball tonight, and if so he should surely be a part of some winning cash game lineups. Monte Morris FD - $4000 DK - $4700 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD - 29.39 DK - 29.16 Jamal Murray has missed two games already with an ankle sprain, and it feels safe to say he's going to remain sidelined yet again tonight as the Nuggets head into Minnesota on the...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Sunday, 1/19/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Sunday, 1/19/20 With the NFL conference championship games going, the NBA has sort of ducked this slate. As of now we don't know what sort of slates are going to be offered, if any, but let's break down each game for kicks. Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! We've got you completely covered. Miami Heat at the San Antonio Spurs Miami is favored by 1 in a game with a 221 total. Well, well, well, it's a rematch of last Wednesday's game, which the Heat took down by a score of 106-100. That's not a super exciting DFS total, and these are two teams that are essentially fairly priced. Rudy Gay is out for the Spurs, and Dejounte Murray is questionable, but right now there isn't a lot of obvious value jumping to the forefront. But what are you going to do, skip a whole game on a two game slate? I think not. Let's take a look at the two squads. The Miami Heat Duncan Robinson FD - $3900 DK - $4600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 23.32 DK - 24.86 Kendrick Nunn FD - $5000 DK - $5600 Opponent - SA Proj Pts FD - 24.88 DK - 25.5 As far as our system is concerned the Heat's value comes primarily from the back-court, with Nunn and Robinson leading the charge. Robinson has shown that he's nothing special, but given that Spoelstra is happy to leave him out there for 35+ minutes a game you can't ignore him at essentially the minimum price on FanDuel. He's paid almost exactly 21 fantasy points in each of his last three games, which is really all you can ask for here. Nunn has been electric recently, and while he's pretty scoring dependent, he's been absolutely shooting the lights out on the looks he's been getting. He crushed these Spurs for 46.6 FanDuel points on 13/18 shooting in that game, and while you can't expect that every game he still looks like a cash game staple. After these two, things get a little more speculative. Our system doesn't love Bam, but he was totally fine in the Wednesday game. You can also consider Goran Dragic off the bench. The San Antonio Spurs DeMar DeRozan...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 1/18/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 1/18/20 Before a tiny two-game slate on Sunday, we have a nice nine-gamer here. There are two games being played earlier in the day but we're going to go ahead and avoid those. What's also good news is the fact that we have every game starting by 9ET, making the injury reports much easier to figure out. With that in mind, let's get into our favorite plays of the day! Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Be sure to read our free NBA and NFL Ebooks on building lineups, general strategy and more. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Chris Paul FD - $7100 DK - $7000Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 37.5 DK - 38.19 It's hard to understand why these sites keep Paul's price so affordable. Over his last 21 games played, Paul is averaging 38.9 DraftKings points per game across 33 minutes of action. That's the dude that we loved in his Clipper days and why he should be $1,000 more on each site. What makes him really attractive here is the matchup though, with Portland owning a 26th OPRK against opposing point guards this season. That's clear when you see that CP3 has at least 36 fantasy points in two of his three games against Portland this season.  Markelle Fultz FD - $5400 DK - $6200Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 32.2 DK - 32.04 Fultz just recorded the second triple-double of his career earlier this week against the Lakers and that emphasizes just how much he's grown this season. Not only has he scored at least 26 DraftKings points in eight of his last nine games, Fultz is also averaging 32 fantasy points per game in that span. The thing that's really added to his value is the fact that D.J. Augustin is injured. Those two were essentially splitting the point guard minutes before and his absence should guarantee Fultz 30-35 minutes every night. We happen to love this matchup against a Golden State club who sits 23rd in defensive efficiency as well.  Shabazz Napier is definitely too cheap with Jeff Teague being shipped off to Atlanta.  Shooting Guard D'Angelo Russell FD - $7300 DK - $7400Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 38.01 DK - 40.28 Russell is quietly having a nice year for the Warriors and it's clear that he's going to remain...
