FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Wednesday, 2/5/20 The trade deadline got a-rockin' last night with a four-team deal going down between the Rockets, Timberwolves, Hawks and Nuggets. It could have some fantasy impact for tonight's slate.  There could be some late moves Wednesday as well and that always causes chaos for DFS purposes. That means players can get pulled in the middle of games and it could also open up some value right before lock. With that in mind, let's get into our plays of the day!Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Point Guard Trae Young FD - $9600 DK - $10100Opponent - MINProj Pts FD - 49.93 DK - 53.16 It's strange that Young hasn't been given the price increase that he deserves. The simple fact is, he is the Atlanta offense. That's evident when you see that he ranks fourth in the NBA with a 33.9 percent usage rate while taking 20.6 shots per game. That's a truly absurd role and it doesn't even take into consideration that he's one of the league leaders with 9.0 assists per game as well. That has led to this 51-point DraftKings average and we absolutely love that sort of role and form against a Minnesota team who ranks 27th in points allowed. In their one meeting this season, Trae dropped 57 fantasy points against them despite shooting below 40 percent from the field.  Mike Conley FD - $4300 DK - $5100Opponent - DENProj Pts FD - 24.71 DK - 25.57 With Conley being re-inserted into the starting lineup, he remains a nice value until he gets closer to $6,000. We're talking about a guy who's traditionally been a $7,000-player throughout his career and a bunch of injuries has lowered these prices to these enticing numbers. In his return to the starting lineup against Portland on Saturday, Conley collected 34.5 DraftKings points across 30 minutes of action. That's what we expected to see all season and we anticipate him continuing that form at full health. While Denver is certainly a tough matchup, these price tags limit that risk.  Reggie Jackson (FD 5000 DK 4900) is coming off a 1-of-16 disaster but remains too cheap with his huge usage.  Shooting Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $7000 DK...

Point Guard Damian Lillard FD - $10900 DK - $10300 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 52.18 DK - 54.49 What to do with Damian Lillard? Well, if this Redditor is to be believed, he has accounted for more points over the last six games than any player ever has in a six game period. That's pretty good. The last slate where I wrote about Lillard I said that players don't tend to fundamentally change at the stage where Lillard is in his career, but it certainly looks like he may have done just that. You can't count on the ridiculous accuracy from deep, but the fact that he's shooting 29-30 times in normal games while also dishing 10+ assists can't be ignored. It's also working - the Blazers have won 5 of their last 6 games against very tough competition. Denver qualifies as a tough opponent, but I don't think it's crazy to just ride this Lillard hot streak. Austin Rivers FD - $4000 DK - $3600 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 24.31 DK - 24.74 Our system is really hoping that two things align here. First, Westbrook needs to sit. Second, Rivers needs to be healthy enough to play (he missed Monday's practice with an illness). If those two things do come together, though, Rivers is an auto-inclusion as the most clear value play on the slate. I think it's likely enough that those come together for you to plan for that as of this writing. Also considered: Eric Bledsoe. Monte Morris is an interesting big tournament play, as he saw all the minutes you could want even with Gary Harris returning last game. Harris did come off the bench, though, so if he returns to the starting lineup Morris becomes a lot less appealing. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11600 DK - $12000 Opponent - CHA Proj Pts FD - 65.29 DK - 68.04 With an incredible bounty of big money options tonight, you're going to be making some tough decisions. I just don't see how Harden isn't the first big money guy to go into the lineup, though. With Westbrook off the court...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Monday, 2/3/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Monday, 2/3/20 Super Bowl Sunday hangover? No worries because we've got the remedy. It's a bunch of NBA cash game picks for FanDuel and DraftKings. We've got you completely covered. Point Guard Reggie Jackson FD - $4500 DK - $4700Opponent - MEMProj Pts FD - 30.59 DK - 31.64 This play is dependent on a couple of different things. The first is that Derrick Rose sits Monday’s game out. He left early in the Denver game on Sunday because of a sore right groin and didn’t return. Th other factor is if the Pistons really have removed the minutes restrictions on Reggie Jackson going forward. I’m a little nervous that Jackson played 34 minutes in the overtime game against the Nuggets but I’m also encouraged that Jackson played 34 minutes in the overtime game against the Nuggets. He led the team with 18 shots and would be one of the slate’s very best bargains on both sites if the two factors above came to fruition. As it stands, I would probably only need to know Rose was out to feel comfortable playing Jackson at these price points. Elfrid Payton FD - $6400 DK - $6500Opponent - CLEProj Pts FD - 36.11 DK - 35.65 Payton sat out Saturday’s game after being suspended because of his role in the scuffle between the Knicks and Grizzlies on Wednesday. But he’s been the running the majority of the point guard minutes for New York, going 32 or more in each of his previous five games with an 11-point, 10-assist, six-rebound average in that timeframe. Because he’s able to add so many different stats across the line, he makes for a safer cash game play in this price tier with a matchup against a bottom third defensive team to boot. If 27+ minutes is the new norm for Dejounte Murray (FD $5300 DK $5200) then he’s starting to look like a cash game play as well with real upside because of the defensive stats. Make sure to listen to the best Brooklyn Nets Podcast around with the latest episode of the We Got Nets Podcast Shooting Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $7100 DK - $8000Opponent - PHOProj Pts FD - 38.44 DK...

Point Guard Eric Bledsoe FD - $6100 DK - $6700 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 36.78 DK - 37.45 Bledsoe saw some cash game play on Friday even in a very competitive slate, and I have a strong feeling he'll be among the highest owned point guards on a tiny Sunday slate. With Hill and Divicenzo likely out the Bucks honestly don't have a whole lot of other traditional point guard options, and Bledsoe has already been totally reasonable on these prices recently. While the Suns have improved defensively this season they still play a top 10 pace with a league average defense, and Bledsoe should have plenty of possessions to pay his value. Russell Westbrook FD - $11200 DK - $10200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 56.51 DK - 59.24 Lonzo Ball FD - $6600 DK - $7000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 36.36 DK - 37.3 The Rockets/Pelicans game has by far the highest total on the day (245!), and a tighter spread at 4.5 than many people would have imagined. If this game does stay close, these two look like equally good values at different price points today. Lonzo's mini-Westbrook approach gives him a ton of floor, and Westbrook himself has been on a tear recently with Harden nursing a sore thigh. I'd be fine with either of these guys for cash game purposes tonight. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $11000 DK - $11200 Opponent - NO Proj Pts FD - 58.8 DK - 61.27 Rumors of Harden's demise appear to have been exaggerated, as any concerns about his thigh causing long term issues were relieved on Friday night. Big game James simply dominated the Mavs, netting 35 points and 6 assists while crashing the boards for 16 rebounds. If he's going to be playing at this frenetic pace he's still too cheap, and even the 8% price increase isn't enough to scare us off him in such an excellent match-up. Jrue Holiday FD - $7800 DK - $8000 Opponent - HOU Proj Pts FD - 42.28 DK - 42.35 Holiday has been thriving recently, with his latest opus being a...

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks – Saturday, 2/1/20

FanDuel NBA Picks and DraftKings NBA Picks - Saturday, 2/1/20 While we have 10 games on the Saturday schedule, nine of them make-up the night slate. The one omission is a matchup between the Clippers and T'Wolves and we'll go ahead and fade that one altogether. That leaves a ton of great options on the board, so, we'll do our best to mix the best values plays with the correct studs. With that in mind, let's get into this slate.  Head on over a for your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our NBA FanDuel and DraftKings optimizer, our NFL Optimizer and NHL Projections as well. Plus our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! First time with NBA or NFL? Point Guard Kyrie Irving FD - $8900 DK - $9100Opponent - WASProj Pts FD - 48.93 DK - 50.06 Irving is in the midst of a monster game on Friday against the Chicago Bulls and it's hard to overlook anytime anyone faces the Wizards. The simple fact is, Washington ranks dead-last in points allowed, defensive efficiency and fantasy points surrendered to opposing point guards. That's a truly frightening against a guy like Irving, with the stud guard averaging 49 fantasy points per game for the season. In that Friday game, Irving finished with 54 points, five rebounds and five assists and it's scary to think that he's coming in with that sort of momentum in the best matchup possible.  Jalen Brunson FD - $5000 DK - $5300Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 25.63 DK - 26.36 J.J. Barea FD - $3800 DK - $4600Opponent - ATLProj Pts FD - 22.69 DK - 24.19 I really thought that Brunson would be the guy with Luka Doncic going down but Barea getting a start on Friday would indicate otherwise. In that game, Brunson had seven points, three rebounds and three assists across 20 minutes off the bench while Barea had 11 points, five rebounds and nine assists as a starter. That means we have to go with Barea as the superior choice because he's also the cheaper option as well. With that in mind, if Brunson gets the start here, pivot to him. The reason we like these two is because Doncic's 36 percent usage rate is gone along with his 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. That's a ton of usage for these PGs to makeup and we have to love that against a 29th-ranked Hawks defense.  If Frank Ntilikina remains out...
