Now go get that deposit bonus.   Passing Touchdowns There are a number of quality quarterback options to choose from this week in this format. I really couldn’t fault on using a handful of guys. This is where you undoubtedly will see the most separation. Peyton Manning Fairly obvious play here. He’s thrown for at least three touchdowns in six of his last seven games. Though not the biggest line of the day, this game does project to be high scoring. One issue with Manning I will say is that the Chargers are a solid team against the pass. Manning isn’t necessarily matchup proof, though he’s close especially in a non-salary cap format. The Broncos are happy to throw a ton no matter the situation and I think that always puts Peyton in play. They are also among the highest in the league at throwing in the red zone. That’s just the stat we need to pile on the touchdowns even in suboptimal matchups. Drew Brees The bad news first: He and the Saints were just terrible last week against the Bengals. Let’s get that part out of the way. They got smoked in a true headscratcher of a performance. Personally, I think it’s an outlier in terms of Brees’ production as he’s been insanely accurate over the course of the season. A great cure for the hangover of a bad offensive game is the Bears’ defense. They get rained on through the air and are allowing the third worse net yards through the air per game. I do wish this game was in the dome instead of outside in Chicago at night. That actually could be a real thing that hampers the Saints. But otherwise, an accurate quarterback facing a porous secondary is just the right kind of scenario.   All-Purpose Yards Le’Veon Bell Going to be a very popular play this week and with...

Sick deal.   Point Guard Russell Westbrook - FD 9900 DK 10700 DFSTR 8200 On such a short night it is important to make every single decision correctly. And it will be tough knowing where to allocate your bigger dollars especially without the access to any significant punt plays. With Durant still on restricted minutes Westbrook becomes one of the highest usage guys around. That he can do just about everything on the stat sheet keeps the floor high. This is where I'll be putting my big dollar tonight. He's averaging 25/7/7 over his last three and is facing Kyrie who's not exactly known for defense. Patrick Beverley - FD 5300 DK 5600 DFSTR 4800 Allows the perfect way to spend less and get more that we need on a short slate. The Rockets are playing super short handed all around. Beverely got the start last night and should see in the mid 30's worth of minutes. He's becomes a bit more of a scorer of late, which is encouraging. He's known primarily as a defender and that's true, but in this matchup against Collison (another good defender) I'll take Patrick at the discount.   Shooting Guard James Harden - FD 10300 DK 11400 DFSTR 9400 He's the other big money guy I'll get my hands on tonight. That came out weird but you get the point. With Howard out of the lineup he's the primary facilitator of the offense (though having Beverley back takes that pressure off him some). Harden is probably the safest big money play on the board. It didn't look like he was hampered at all last night and should be a full go tonight. The choices at SG are so thin that I don't get the sense you need to fade him tonight. Consider drawing straws on the other guys.   Small Forward Rudy Gay - FD 8500 DK 8900 DFSTR 7700 Since Boogie has been out, Gay has taken more than 17 shots per game and played high 30s minutes very routinely. And at this point, Trevor Ariza's defensive reputation is outstripping...

Sick deal.   Point Guard Cory Joseph - FD 4700 DK 5000 DFSTR 3000 Was a huge percentage start in cash games last night and I don't expect that to change really at all tonight (though it'll dip some on the performance) so long as Tony Parker is out again. Seeing as how Parker was ruled out long before game time, it doesn't seem like he's going to come back right away. Of course, this is worth monitoring leading into game time, but if Parker sits again then you are getting huge minutes out of a decent point guard for very low costs. And you might grab some extra value considering how bad he was Tuesday. But he played all the minutes and that means a lot at these prices. Kemba Walker - FD 7200 DK 8000 DFSTR 7100 It's been some time since I put Walker on this list, but I think his price is at a point where you should strongly consider him in this matchup. The Celtics play at one of the fastest paces in the league and are allowing 7% more scoring than league average to opposing point guards. You are getting a lower priced starting PG who pushes above 35 minutes every night. He's prone to a disappearing act or two now and again. But I just love this matchup. Jeff Teague - FD 7300 DK 8200 DFSTR 6400 If he plays his minutes Teague seems to pay these prices easily. It's just the minutes that are sometimes in question. Regardless, he's had some huge games of late I suspect this could be another one. If the Sixers stay scrappy even better as we want Teague getting full run. It's worth it to note that on the season Philly has been a bit better against point guards, but I think the pace of this game favors Teague.   Shooting Guard Wesley Matthews - FD 6100 DK 6200 DFSTR 5100 I know some of this is Kevin Martin's fault, but overall the T-Wolves have been bruuuttaaaallll* against shooting guards this season. They are getting just blitzed by the position, allowing 12% more scoring and 13% more...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Draftster 12/8/14

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal.   Point Guard Deron Williams - FD 7800 DK 8200 DFSTR 6900 The guy is often overlooked because he plays on a boring team and there are typically other point guard values on any given night that we can overlook D-Will rather easily. But he's been paying this price more often than not and tonight gets matchup up against Kyrie and Cavs who are about average in defending the opposing point guard. I like D-Will's upside even at this price and don't think he'll be a high percentage start. This is a nice matchup for a guy who does enough across the box score to keep the floor high. Kyle Lowry - FD 9100 DK 10100 DFSTR 7500 Greivis Vasquez - FD 4800 DK 5100 DFSTR 4400 Both of these guys have seen huge usage rate bumps since Demar Derozan's gone down. Lowry especially has taken full reins over the offense and before the Cleveland game has put up over 50 fantasy points in the previous three games. He's been a beast. Meanwhile Greivis still hasn't seen his price full catch up now that he's around and over thirty minutes per game out of the starting lineup. Honestly, playing these guys together in the point guard positions is a fine strategy considering just how much they'll be handling the ball. Consider Mo Williams or Zach Lavine   Shooting Guard Not a ton to love about this position tonight. Rodney Stuckey - FD 5000 DK 4600 DFSTR 4600 Getting just enough minutes to keep himself relevant. Stuckey, when he has the run, should be able to easily beat these prices. He can score quickly and does just enough around the margins to make the idea of getting him into a cash game (even playing less that thirty minutes a game) stomach-able. Again, the minutes for me are right at the breaking point. He has to play at least 26-28 minutes to make him safe. But it seems as if his role in that respect is secure. Avery Bradley - FD 5100 DK 4500 DFSTR 4800 Doesn't offer a whole ton of upside. But what I'm looking for on this...

Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings and Draftster 12/4/14

Sign up now and get a free 3 day trial to our lineup construction tool for FanDuel and DraftKings. And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. Short Slate = Short picks.   Point Guard Kyrie Irving - FD 8300 DK 9300 DFSTR 7200 If you are going to pay for a point guard he is probably the guy. As you will see tonight, the decisions are less than clear when it comes to the top value plays. It isn't an easy slate by any means. And while I'm usually pretty excited at the prospect of less options because they decisions made by your opponents tend to cascade if even off by one guy, this one has me hesitant. And after all of that I give you Kyrie. His value is wrapped up a little too much in his scoring which I don't love from a point guard. He's kind of the anti-Rondo in this way. When you do too much of one thing your floor is much lower. That's the case with Kyrie and if this thing gets blow out-y then he is in trouble. I'll risk it though against a bad Knicks team. Jose Calderon - FD 5800 DK 5600 DFSTR 4300 If he can get a decent amount of minutes I think he'll be fine at this price. When he gets thirty or more minutes, paying this price is no problem at all. The issue becomes if the Cavs crush the Knicks and he doesn't see the fourth. I'm fine with risking it (a theme as you'll see). He's averaging a 10/4/4 which is the mean of his production, but the fluctuations are high. I'm betting he gets the minutes and pays easily. Consider Donald Sloan   Shooting Guard Rodney Stuckey - FD 4800 DK 4500 DFSTR 4500 Oof. It doesn't feel good. And you are really begging for the minutes here. But when Stuckey gets the run, the fantasy production (relative to these prices) is there. It's just the run. Will it be there on a given night? Considering his salaries and the lack of any real SG options that don't make you want to puke, I think you can pull the trigger here. If it were a full slate of games, I...
