Point Guard Jarrett Jack - FD 4900 DK 5000 DFSTR 4400 This is if and only if Deron Williams sits again. I am putting Jack at the top of the list though because if he's starting PG then you basically have to play him at these prices. In his last two games playing big minutes with Williams out Jack has averaged 14/4/6. That's way more than enough to make him a must play as our system already likes the guy on his per minutes production. Check in closer to game time on Deron's health status. Russell Westbrook - FD 11200 DK 11900 DFSTR 8200 He falls into much the same category as Jack (didn't think you'd see that comparison between Jarrett and Russell did you?) but Westbrook's top end value is very much tied to the health of Durant. This is to say, if Durant is out it's Russell time. His usage rate is off the charts when he's the first, second and third option for the Thunder. Mo Williams - FD 5500 DK 4700 DFSTR 4900 He's back to playing the big minutes from the point as the Timberwolves seem done easing him back into the fold. Williams' price is about where it was pre-injury and he was a bargain then. We were only waiting for him to have the full run taken back from Lavine. Kyrie and the Cavs often make a good matchup for opposing point guards. The only question is whether the T-Wolves can keep it close. Williams isn't the best point guard in the world, but this play is all about the price. Stephen Curry - FD 10500 DK 10900 DFSTR 8600 If Westbrook isn't in the cards because of Durant's return, you've got Steph. I don't need to go through the explanation here unless this is your first NBA rodeo. The Lakers allow a crazy 20% more than league average scoring to opposing point guards. And Steph is Steph. He's playing at a crazy high level over the short term after a run of inconsistency at the beginning of the year. I love the matchup and...

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. Point Guard Russell Westbrook - FD 11000 DK 11900 DFSTR 8200 The price is reaching the stratosphere and with good reason. He's been doing everything for OKC and with word that Durant will sit today, Russell becomes the instantly goes from the highest usage guy in the NBA to the highest usages guy by a country mile. The only question becomes the price. If enough cheap options present themselves over the course of the day, then I really want to have him in my cash lineups. He's next leveling this thing right now and even to the naked eye he is playing step quicker, getting to the line a ton, rebounding and basically just doing everything. It's a marvel to watch. C.J. Watson - FD 4100 DK 4900 DFSTR 3900 If he's back from his sinus whatever then these prices (especially FanDuel) are pretty dumb. On FanDuel you'd be getting a starting point guard, seeing about 30 minutes for just a hair above the minimum. That's a ridiculous proposition and honestly, if he isn't a 100% start then I'd venture to say whatever % aren't starting him are making a pretty big error. The Timberwolves are well below average against opposing point guards so it isn't like CJ would be facing against the likes of CP3 again. But this is all about price and opportunity. Watson is as cheap as you'd find a punt play PG at the last second except that he's the established guy. And he lets you get Russell. So win-win. Darren Collison - FD 7500 DK 6800 Deron Williams might get traded to the Kings. But it won't happen today. And as long as Collison is running the point for the Kings you need to consider him against the Lakers who get shredded by just about every position, but especially point guard. They've allowed 20% more than league average scoring to the position and Collison, though he's got some stinkers on the old resume, makes a solid cash game play considering the prices and opponent. Consider Norris Cole and Michael Carter-Williams Shooting Guard Victor Oladipo - FD...

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. Quick note: There are many, many injury situations that are going to skew things a bit going in. So many guys are game time decisions and whether they play will cascade decisions all the way down. I'm going to do my best here to highlight some of the decisions, but monitoring news up to lineup lock will be particularly important tonight. Point Guard Russell Westbrook - FD 10100 DK 11000 DFSTR 8200 Even though Durant may soon be in line for a minutes bump which will hurt Westbrook's top end value, the fact remains that few other players in the league can score as many fantasy points in as little a time as Westbrook. Case in point: he put up 50 fantasy points (FD) in 27 freaking minutes against the Suns last time out. That's an astounding number and there simply aren't many players who can do it. He has a number of components to his game, but one of them that allows him to pile up points is that for a point guard he actually rebounds well and subsequently begins his own fast break. This is invaluable and he controls so much of the action. The Kings aren't bad against opposing point guards, but Westbrook isn't your average one. If Davis doesn't play Westbrook is out system's top overall point scorer and for the money he's the best top end value. Zach LaVine - FD 5100 DK 5200 DFSTR 3700 Here's to hoping Mo Williams sits out again. Point guard is a very dicey situation after Russell and I'll happily slot in Lavine at the point if he is going to see close to forty minutes of run. That he does very little with the time he spends on the court is concerning, but his price is so low relative to the minutes that I'm willing to wing and prayer it if he's just going to handle the ball the whole time. Not a great matchup, but again, point guard is fraught with peril tonight. Trey Burke - FD 5700 DK 5400 DFSTR 5200 Woof. See what I mean? He's more...

And now - for the next month - you can get access to our Football projection tools AND our baskeball projection tools for the same price! Sick deal. Point Guard C.J. Watson - FD 4300 DK 5000 DFSTR 3000 Let's keep things simple here and not confuse the issue. Watson needs to be in all of your lineups and under no circumstances are you to start anyone else at the point guard position. Am I making myself clear here? To start, his price hasn't caught up yet to his new role as the starting point guard. Beyond that, he's playing the worst defensive team in the league against, well, everybody. The Lakers are a defensive joke and getting a punt(ish) PG against them is something you can't pass up. He'll be in every one of my lineups. Cory Joseph - FD 4600 DK 4600 DFSTR 3000 I'm putting him here under the assumption that Parker sits again. If that's the case then it's Watson and Joseph for me across the board in two PG lineups. Heads up I'll take Watson. Monitor this situation closely. Kemba Walker - FD 7300 DK 8000 DFSTR 7200 I'll be honest, I'm hoping Parker doesn't play because the point guard situation gets a lot less clear without the two guys above. But when it comes down to it, Kemba is a solid option facing up against Kyrie. Dude feels anything but safe. But the price reflects his ebbs and flows. This is a spot you can buy low(ish) on the guy. Consider Kyrie Irving Shooting Guard Rodney Stuckey - FD 5600 DK 5500 DFSTR 4800 Played him the other night at a significant discount as a contrarian play against the Trailblazers and he hit value and then some. Even though he's switched over off the point back to the two, the minutes are still more than there. And getting a guy playing more than 30 minutes with a decent usage at this price is worth it. Against the Lakers? Forget about it. The second easiest start of the day behind Watson. Jimmy Butler - FD 8000 DK 6600 DFSTR 6700 At this point, you need to pay for the guy. I don't like that of course because I long for the days of getting...

Draftster has a ton of cool stuff going on including the a whole host of Freerolls. Quarterback Colt McCoy-$3000 Not going to be a guy you see topping a ton of quarterback value lists but this explanation is incredibly simple. He is the starting quarterback coming in at the absolute minimum on Draftster. Case close. He’s the best points per dollar player in the system and it isn’t even close. Reminder, this doesn’t mean he is the favorite to score the most raw points out of the position. Not by a long shot. But the deal you are getting to play the starting QB really for any team coming this cheap is something you really can’t pass up. Honestly, it makes me want to get more money in Draftster than usual. This is one of those rare opportunities to have a crazy advantage over anyone other squad that doesn’t have him. Those teams are -EV right from Jump Street. I’m not even going to recommend another quarterback play. It doesn’t make sense. He throws one touchdown and you’ve basically made your money on the guy. Running Backs Rashad Jennings-$5100 If the reports are to be believed and the Giants plan on bringing him more into the fold this week through the run, then you are getting a crazy great deal on Jennings. Washington is a fairly stout run defense, ranking in the top ten of the league. But one way I see this game playing out is the Giants being able to stop the crappy Washington “offense” and controlling the ball for a better portion of the game. I don’t think that’s totally wishful thinking either considering Washington’s...
