As we saw the other night (when he was a top play in the system and I basically ignored it) when Wroten isn’t in the game MCW becomes the focal point and creator on offense. He was a revelation against the Mavericks the other night, doing little bits of everything as the Sixers hung in the game on his way to a triple double. A much better fantasy player than real player, Carter-Williams can have games where it seems like there are two of him on the court. Watching the game against the Mavs, multiple times he grabbed rebounds and then ran the court to either dish for an assist or take it to the hole himself. I’m less worried about the blowout reducing Sixers’ minutes and think he has a high floor considering his contributions across the stat line. Tony Parker - FD 6600 DK 7200 DFSTR 6600 Look, our system loves him tonight and rightfully so. The matchup is choice, the pace will be quick and he's playing well of late (that last point isn't factored into our projections, it's just nice to know). Of course the issue will be, as it will for all Spurs, is whether he sees a full run. The Spurs could dismantle the Sixers early and that will be the end of Tony. The only reason I'm encouraged about playing him is the price. In a situation where the Spurs are boat-racing Philly Parker probably doesn't need to see a full thirty-five minutes to approach value. He's coming rather cheap. Update: Parker is sitting tonight. If Cory Joseph is starting he makes the punt play extraordinaire at the minimums Consider Mo Williams though with him the blowout is a problem going the other way.   Shooting Guard Danny Green - FD 4700 DK 5000 DFSTR 4500 Manu Ginobili - FD 5200 DK 4900 DFSTR 5500 Always such a tough call with the Spurs, even on short nights. This is the perfect example. When an efficient (but slow) Raptor team faces a fast-paced and defensively challenged team like the Lakers, getting your hands on the guy controlling the ball is a top priority. There have been plenty of point guard punt plays of late, meaning we haven’t had to pay up too much for the spot. But this is a safety situation. Lowry should see plenty of volume in this one (especially with Derozan out) and if the game can just stay out of total blowout zone heading into the fourth then I have very little doubt that he hits value. Greivis Vasquez - FD 3700 DK 3500 DFSTR 3900 If you think the fallout from the Derozan injury cascades down to more opportunity for the rest of the guards, then Vasquez is a pretty great play at this price. Seeing in the mid 20's in minutes over the last few has him pretty productive and I honestly think there is a case, on a small slate, to start both he and Lowry at PG tonight. Mo Williams - FD 5500 DK 4800 DFSTR 4000 He turned in a monster against the Lakers the other night. I don't expect a repeat performance necessarily, but a double/double points and assists game isn't out of the question against a team in Portland that's well below average in defending the point guard position. Williams is a great low-end option with starters minutes seemingly locked in.   Shooting Guard Lou Williams - FD 4900 DK 5000 Stands to see a ton of run now that Derozan is on the shelf. Williams has been one of the better fantasy-points-per-minute guys in the NBA this season and if he cracks the starting lineup or just sees more run because of Derozan's absence then you are basically looking at a must start based on his...

He's locked into the minutes and while he probably doesn't have crazy huge upside, this price is more than safe considering the opportunity. He's can score as much as an average point guard and gets enough assists to keep the floor at a decent range even in an off shooting night. Ramon Sessions - FD 4300 DK 4700 DFSTR 3400 He was a death train the other night, coming out of the gate with three turnovers and struggling to get anything going. But if he’s starting at the point because Collison can’t come back then don’t let the recency-bias nip you in the butt. Donald Sloan - FD 5600 DK 5200 DFSTR 5700 Oof. It doesn’t feel good, but he has huge upside games in him. Has some stinkers as well. Zach LaVine - FD 4100 DK 4200 DFSTR 3300 Mo Williams - FD 5500 DK 4700 DFSTR 4100 I think I’d be fine throwing out either guy who is starting for the T-Wolves. Neither will win you a GPP but if they are paying the major minutes at the one against the Lakers then I think the floor is built in. The big names first: Deron Williams - FD 7700 DK 7600 DFSTR 7100 Gets a fantastic matchup against the Sixers who play at the second fastest pace in the league. Granted they've actually allowed less than league average scoring to point guards, but I'm willing to take tempo here in regards to D-Will. Williams comes are a solid midrange price in a great matchup. Mike Conley - FD 7000 DK 7800 DFSTR 6600 It's becoming somewhat of a running joke, but the Lakers are allowing opposing point guards to basically get away with anything they want. That's what happens when you play at an insane clip and employ Jeremy Lin as the "defender". Conley, like Williams above, comes below the top group of point guards in price, but has a solid chance of making value because of the amount of volume he stands to see. Things to keep an eye on: D.J. Augustin - FD 4000 DK 4100 If Jennings sits again tonight then Augustin makes for a great value for the second night in a row. He was big percentage start last night and if he got the run again I suspect we'd see a similar number. Ramon Sessions - FD 3600 DK 4500 DFSTR 3600 He was fantastic as a last minute start last night in place of Collison. Monitor this situation going into this evening and hope you have news in time. Jarrett Jack - FD 4600 DK 5300 DFSTR 4700 He is the backup of course, but he's playing a ton of minutes, sharing court time with Williams. It's a bit weird to consider this on a big slate, but the production has been there.   Shooting Guard Evan Fournier - FD 5200 DK 5300 DFSTR 5000 He had a brutal games against the Heat on Sunday but outside of that clunker, this is a guy getting up a ton of shots on the season. If both of those guys are out, which looks very much to be the case, then playing Brooks at punt prices is a fantastic spot. The one thing that concerns me with him, and it probably limits his upside is the minutes. I want to believe that like every other Bull starter, he will see a full run. He didn't last game, but they were getting smoked. So it's hard to know. I'm willing to predict he gets thirty minutes here if it stays close. But there's some risk Thibs has him in a timeshare with E'twaun Moore. (And if you think that's the case then the latter is a moderately interesting spec play at the minimum). Kyrie Irving - FD 7900 DK 8800 DFSTR 7100 Point guard is a tough position tonight. Most times there are a plethora of safer options in the upper-middle tier that you can slot in. Our multipliers are typically close on a smattering of dudes in the 7500-8200 range. But not tonight.The landscape is fuzzy. Kyrie sticks out because Orlando has allowed worse than league average scoring to opposing point guards and will struggle to defend him, especially around the perimeter. He doesn't break the bank for what he can provide though the risk with Kyrie is that, unlike most PGs, his value is in his scoring. He doesn't rack up big assist numbers which does hurt his value. One thing to note on Damian Lillard. I suspect he will be a high % play because of the name and the matchup. It's worth noting that Philly has actually kept opposing PGs in check this season and there is significant blowout risk.   Shooting Guard Jimmy Butler - FD 7700 DK 7400 DFSTR 5700 This play, much like Brooks, is contingent on Rose sitting. Which looks to be the case. Butler is a hugh usage guy when he needs to be a primary scorer in the offense (when Rose is out). His price has climbed out of the "must start"...
