Pitchers Kevin Gausman FD 10300 DK 9700 Opponent - TEX (Kohei Arihara) Park - TEX FD - 38.28 DK - 20.44 Choosing pitchers can be tricky down the stretch as some teams will be limiting starters to prepare for the playoffs. The Jays don't have that option as they are not only short on starters due to injury but also in a very tight race for the AL Wildcard. Gausman has had a few blips on the radar in the second half but has still been terrific holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs on five of his last seven starts and has a 30% K rate in the second half. He now gets an elite matchup against a Rangers team that has lost 10 of their last 11 games while tallying a .277 wOBA, 80 wRC+, and 24% K rate in that time. Fire up Gausman in all formats. José Urquidy FD 9500 DK 9000 Opponent - LAA (Shohei Ohtani) Park - LAA FD - 34.81 DK - 18.09 There isn’t a whole lot to get excited about in terms of value SP2 options so I am fully on board with the system which prefers a double pay-up almost daily. Urquidy isn’t a pitcher that provides a ton of upside with a below-average K rate(19.5%) but he has been rock solid in the second half holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six of eight starts for a 2.45 ERA. With a plus matchup against an Angels team that has been a bottom 10 offense in the second half and striking out over 25% of the time, Urquidy is easily my top SP2 on this slate. Catcher/First Base Christian Walker FD 3900 DK 4400 Opponent - COL (José Ureña) Park - COL FD - 13.06 DK - 9.9 The system is all over the Coors game on DraftKings once again on Saturday and it comes as no surprise as both sides get plus matchups and are way too cheap to stack. It starts with Christian Walker who has been very consistent lately with hits in nine of the last 10 games he has started including four multi-hit efforts. The red-hot D-backs offense also gets another elite matchup against Jose Urena who has been nothing short of a disaster in the second half posting an 8.65 ERA over nine starts. Arizona is our top overall PTS/$ stack tonight...
DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Friday 9/9/22
DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Friday 9/9/22 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Lucas Giolito FD 8200 DK 8500 Opponent - OAK (James Kaprielian) Park - OAKFD - 38.87 DK - 20.74 We’ve got a game in Coors with a run line higher than everywhere else so we are going to want to stack that game as much as possible. That’s going to mean saving some on pitching which, thankfully, is entirely possible on this slate. Giolito is facing off against the second-worst offense in baseball in the A’s as a -162 road favorite. It’s been an up-and-down season for the White Sox righty and he’s had some true blowup games. But he’s still striking out more than a batter per nine, the price is down here and the matchup against Oakland is such a good one. Noah Syndergaard FD 7900 DK 9900 Opponent - WSH (Patrick Corbin) Park - WSHFD - 34.9 DK - 17.92 Syndergaard isn’t able to really dial up the K’s anymore which is definitely a bit of a concern when rostering him in cash games. His major superlative here is that he is playing on the Phillies and they are playing the Nationals. Washington has one of the worst offenses in baseball and Thor is coming as the day’s biggest moneyline favorite at -250 in this home game. That really helps on FanDuel where the win is weighted more than DraftKings. Plus, his price there helps fit in some Coors bats. I prefer Giolito because of the K upside but Syndergaard is a fine option too. Strongly consider Lance McCullers Jr. (FD $8800 DK $9000) Catcher/First Base C.J. Cron FD 3700 DK 5200 Opponent - ARI (Zach Davies) Park - ARIFD - 13.94 DK - 10.48 Like we said, there’s a game in Coors here and the run line is pushing up to 11, a couple of runs higher than the next closest game on this slate. With a run expectation much higher we are going to want to be overweighted on this game. Cron is expensive but is having a fine enough season with a .799 OPS and 26 home runs. He’s better against lefties so I don’t love the reverse platoon here, but he’s also been so, so much better at home on the year. Carson Kelly FD 2600 DK 3900 Opponent - COL (Germán Márquez) Park - COLFD - 11.07 DK - 8.31 Carson Kelly moves down in the Diamondbacks’ order but he’s also not...
DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 9/7/22
DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Thursday, 9/8/22 I'm filling in for this Thursday card, which will be a small one. It's opening day of the NFL, and it's leaving us with just seven games in total and four making up the main card beginning at 645ET. We'll provide you with picks throughout both slates because there are simply not many players available. With that in mind, let's kick things off with the pitchers! Now's your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Corbin Burnes FD - P 9800 DK - 9700 Opponent - SF (Jakob Junis) Park - MIL FD - 41.6 DK - 23.67 It's bizarre to see Burnes below $10K on both sites. The 2021 NL Cy Young has been one of the best pitchers in baseball for some time now, totaling a 2.63 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 32 percent K rate since 2020. That's three years of mowing down bats, with Corbin collecting a 3.02 ERA and 1.01 WHIP this season. He's actually struggled a bit recently, but it's lowered his price enough that we can't fade this guy. We say that because San Fran sends out one of the least talented lineups in baseball, with Burnes entering this matchup as a -200 favorite, with the Giants projected for just 3.5 runs. Kyle Gibson FD - P 9100 DK - SP 5700 Opponent - MIA (Sandy Alcantara) Park - PHI FD - 32.96 DK - 16.24 The price discrepancies on this guy are incredible. I can't remember seeing such a drastic price difference, but it makes Gibson one of the best options over on DraftKings. It's easy to see why they're so different, though, because Gibson has mixed gems and duds all season. He surrendered seven runs in his most recent outing but generated a 2.41 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across his previous six starts before that. The simple fact is that Gibson does well in good matchups and struggles with menacing lineups. Miami is far from a problematic matchup, with the Marlins ranked 27th in runs scored, OBP and xwOBA. That was on full display when Kyle allowed just five baserunners across six innings against them two weeks ago. Catcher/First Base Paul Goldschmidt FD - 1B 4300 DK - 1B 6300 Opponent - WSH (Josiah Gray) Park - STL FD - 14.49 DK - 10.99 We only have seven games on this schedule, so we have to get the NL MVP into our build. This has been the second-best hitter in baseball...
DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Tuesday 9/6/22
The Brewers Head Into Coors In DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Tuesday 9/6/22 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers José Quintana FD 8200 DK 7500 Opponent - WSH (Paolo Espino) Park - WSHFD - 38.42 DK - 19.78 With a game in Coors, it’s always great to find cheaper pitching options in good spots so we can load up on bats. Quintana is one of those dudes. He comes in as the biggest money line favorite on the day at -260 facing off against the Washington Nationals at home. It’s a great spot against a team all the way in the tank after trading Juan Soto. Quintana isn’t a strikeout ace, but his peripherals are fine enough and this matchup and win expectation play at these price points on both sites. Kyle Wright FD 10600 DK 9700 Opponent - OAK (Cole Irvin) Park - OAKFD - 43.13 DK - 23.24 If you want to spend up a little more for a slightly better pitcher then Kyle Wright could be the play. He opens as a -227 road favorite against the lowly Oakland A’s who rank second-to-last in team wOBA this season and strikeout 23% of the time. Wright has gone six or more innings in nine straight games and pitched seven innings in five of the last ten. He’s striking out just under a batter an inning on the season and induces a ton of grounders with a 54% GB rate on the season. Shane Bieber (FD $10800 DK $10600), Logan Gilbert (FD $9500 DK $8500), and Joe Musgrove (FD $10400 DK $9500) are all also fine options on this slate. They are just going to cost you more. Catcher/First Base Rowdy Tellez FD 3100 DK 4200 Opponent - COL (Chad Kuhl) Park - COLFD - 14.52 DK - 10.97 The Brewers’ 6.6 implied runs are easily the highest on the slate and are more than a run higher than the next-closest team. We are going to want as much exposure to them as possible here. Tellez is something of a no-brainer on both sites at these prices seeing as how he’s slated to hit third in the lineup against the righty Chad Kuhl. Tellez has 28 home runs on the season (easily a career best) with a .795 OPS. He’s just too cheap and coming in too good of a spot to fade here. I prefer Tellez to all other options, but if you want to go in a different direction on...

DraftKings and FanDuel MLB Picks for Monday 9/5/22 Now’s your chance to get DFSR PRO, which will give you access to our MLB, NBA, PGA, NHL, and NFL optimizers and our new player lab! Get started for free by clicking the button below. START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Pitchers Blake Snell FD 10300 DK 10200 Opponent - ARI (Ryne Nelson) Park - ARI FD - 39.54 DK - 21.73 After a small blip on the radar against the Guardians, Snell got back on track shutting out the Giants over six innings while striking out eight batters. It was a continuation of a dominant second half where he has tallied a 2.30 ERA/2.69 xFIP and a 33% K rate while averaging 22.6 DK/39.5 FD points per game. He now gets a matchup against a D-Backs team that has been better in the second half but is bottom 10 against left-handed pitching. All things considered, Snell is my top pitcher in all formats on Monday. Andrew Heaney FD 9400 DK 9600 Opponent - SF (Logan Webb) Park - SF FD - 31.94 DK - 17.1 We can't talk about pitchers who have looked terrific and helped their teams' playoff pushes in the second half without mentioning Andrew Heaney. He dealt with injuries and only made three starts before the break but has been borderline dominant post-break tallying a 2.87 ERA/2.96 xFIP across seven starts while striking out a ridiculous 35% of batters. The Giants have been a Top 10 team against lefties but have really struggled overall in the second half so I am not worried at all and will have exposure to Heaney in all formats. Also Consider: Kevin Gausman(TOR) and Taijuan Walker(NYM) on the early slate Catcher/First Base Harold Ramírez FD 3100 DK 3600 Opponent - BOS (Michael Wacha) Park - BOS FD - 7.75 DK - 6.01 The Rays are right in the thick of the playoff race in the American League and for fantasy purposes provide a ton of PTS/$ value with no real superstar on their team. One of the players providing said value has been Harold Ramirez who has shined brightest since the start of July with a .359 average and while he lacks power upside has been very productive for fantasy with a .377 wOBA. The matchup may not top the charts as Wacha has been above-average this season, the Rays have got to him both times and his underlying numbers do point to some luck and upcoming regression. All things considered, Ramirez is a top PTS/$ play on this early slate, especially on DraftKings at just $3100. José Abreu FD 3600 DK 4400 Opponent - SEA (Marco Gonzales) Park - SEA FD -...
