Pitchers Hunter Brown FD 10500 DK 10000 Opponent - MIN (Louie Varland) Park - MIN FD - 37.14 DK - 20.24 Alright, let's talk about Hunter Brown (P - HOU) for your fantasy baseball lineup. The kid is a promising talent, even though he's still relatively new to the big leagues. With 66 strikeouts in just 57 innings pitched, he knows how to bring the heat. Going up against the Minnesota Twins, who strike out a lot, is a juicy matchup for Brown. Plus, he's playing at home in Houston, which gives him an extra edge. With a favorable -183 moneyline, Brown could be a solid addition to your lineup. George Kirby FD 9200 DK 9400 Opponent - NYY (Clarke Schmidt) Park - NYY FD - 33.28 DK - 18.01 George Kirby has been putting up some impressive numbers with a 3.43 ERA, 1.1 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts in 63 innings pitched. Going against the New York Yankees, who have a 27.9% strikeout rate, bodes well for Kirby's fantasy potential even if it isn't ideal on a short slate. Playing at home in Seattle is another advantage, an with a -140 moneyline in his favor, he's worth considering for your lineup. First Base Justin Turner FD 2900 DK 3600 Opponent - CIN (Luke Weaver) Park - CIN FD - 12.62 DK - 9.62 Justin Turner is a value play on Wednesday, swinging a solid bat this season with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. With a respectable .353 OBP and a .407 slugging percentage Turner has shown he can contribute to the offense. Batting in the projected 3rd spot in the lineup for Boston, he has a good opportunity to drive in runs against Luke Weaver and the Cincinnati Reds. The Red Sox have a slate-high implied run line meaning Turner's chances of getting scoring opportunities are looking good. At a price of $2900 on FD and $3600 on DK, he's a budget-friendly option with the potential to provide solid production. Consider Christian Walker (FD $3300 DK $4500) Second Base Ketel Marte FD 3000 DK 4800 Opponent - COL (Dinelson Lamet) Park - COL FD - 13.66 DK - 10.43 Ketel Marte has been tearing it up this season with 8 home runs, 22 RBIs, and an impressive 0.821 OPS. Set to bat in the 2nd spot for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Marte has a great chance to make an...

Pitchers Framber Valdez FD 11600 DK 10700 Opponent - OAK (Undecided) Park - OAK FD - 33.31 DK - 17.45 On a slate lacking top pitching, Valdez stands out in a big way checking all the boxes. First of all, he is coming off a complete-game shutout against these very A's in his last start and has tallied 40+ DK/55+ FD points in two of his last three trips to the bump. He not only gives us a ton of innings(6+ in 8 of 10 starts), he has also provided a ton of upside with seven or more strikeouts in four straight and six of his last seven starts. The price is very reasonable considering the elite matchup and lack of top options putting Valdez in a tier of his own on Saturday and in play in all formats. Josiah Gray FD 8900 DK 7200 Opponent - KC (Brady Singer) Park - KC FD - 32.52 DK - 16.9 The system prefers paying up for both pitchers on DraftKings tonight but if you are looking for a value option, consider Josiah Gray. The price has come down after back-to-back starts allowing just one earned run and he now gets a terrific matchup against a Royals team that is bottom five in overall run-scoring and bottom three in wOBA(.282) and wRC+(74) against right-handed pitching. The walks can be an issue and the main reason for the gap in xFIP(4.93) and ERA(2.65) but more good news as KC walks the fourth-fewest so far this season. All things considered, Gray is my top value arm tonight. Catcher/First Base Joey Meneses FD 2800 DK 3200 Opponent - KC (Brady Singer) Park - KC FD - 11.04 DK - 8.45 We have a very interesting slate in that almost all of the top offences are in tougher matchups while we get some value teams in great spots. This will make it much easier to load up on starting pitching and one of those value teams that make it easier to manage that build is the Nationals. As a team, they have been riding high lately(.364 wOBA/127 wRC+ last 14) and now get a plus matchup against Singer and his 7.48 ERA and 58% hard contract rate against. For Meneses, he has been very consistent lately with hits in 15 of his last 17 games while hitting .375 during that stretch and driving in 18 runs. At...

Pitchers Framber Valdez FD 10700 DK 10700 Opponent - CHC (Jameson Taillon) Park - CHC FD - 37.64 DK - 19.79 We get a very appealing pitching slate tonight as there are three big favourites, two of them at home, and all three in different price ranges. Let's start at the top with Framber Valdez who is coming off his best start of the season going eight innings, allowing just three hits and one earned run while striking out 12 with zero walks. For the season, he has held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six of eight starts and enters with an impressive 2.38 ERA/2.60 xFIP. The Cubs offence has dropped off some after a hot start and they are striking out 25% of the time over the last two weeks. All things considered, Valdez is my top pitcher on this slate. Michael Wacha FD 9200 DK 7800 Opponent - KC (Brad Keller) Park - KC FD - 27.91 DK - 14.51 For value, as a SP on DraftKings, I will be turning to Michael Wacha who comes in as the biggest favourite(-212) on the slate. After a rough stretch where he 21 hits and 12 earned runs across two starts, Wacha has really bounced back allowing just nine hits and four earned runs over his last three starts while giving us quality starts in two straight. He now faces a bottom-10 offence in the Royals who are also considerably worse against right-handed pitching(.294 wOBA/81 wRC+). Wacha is my favorite SP2 option on DraftKings and a GPP pivot on FanDuel. Catcher/First Base Christian Walker FD 3500 DK 4500 Opponent - OAK (Drew Rucinski) Park - OAK FD - 13.07 DK - 9.83 The bats are also in a great spot tonight with seven teams sitting with 5+ implied runs and the Diamondbacks are my favourite from a PTS/$ standpoint. There are one of the surprises early in the season as they are five games over .500 and their offence is Top 5 in runs scored and Top 10 in almost every advanced metric, as well. For Walker, he has cooled off a bit in the short-term but has been very productive overall with nine home runs and 28 RBI and has seven multi-hit efforts in his last 15 games. Fire up Walker in all formats. Also Consider: Spencer Steer(CIN) as a punt option who gets to hit in...

Pitchers Alex Cobb FD 8300 DK 9000 Opponent - MIL (Colin Rea) Park - MIL FD - 34.99 DK - 19.06 It is definitely not the best slate for pitching so we will start with one of the system's top plays in terms of PTS/$ value. Alex Cobb may only have one win on the season but is off to a fantastic start posting a 2.43 ERA backed up by a 2.98 xFIP and while he isn't an elite K guy, he has struck out seven or more batters in two of his last three starts. He comes into this one as a -174 home favourite facing a Brewers team that is league-average vs righties(.326 wOBA/103 wRC+) but has really struggled over the last two weeks with a combined .290 wOBA and 78 wRC+. Fire up Cobb in all formats. Also Consider: Spencer Strider(ATL) who has ridiculous strikeout upside(41% K rate) but comes with a sky-high price tag and faces an Orioles team that is 6th in runs scored on the season Catcher/First Base Vinnie Pasquantino FD 3300 DK 3600 Opponent - OAK (Ken Waldichuk) Park - OAK FD - 15.07 DK - 11.4 Salvador Perez FD 3400 DK 4200 Opponent - OAK (Ken Waldichuk) Park - OAK FD - 13.3 DK - 10.14 Despite sitting with the two worst records in the majors, the Royals and A's lead the way in terms of Vegas total(10.0) today after combing for 18 runs last night. The Royals are higher on our projections today sitting at #1 in implied runs and they have earned it scoring an average of 6.3 runs per game over the last week. The Pasquatch has played a huge part in the offence recently with hits in five straight, including four doubles and a home run, averaging 14 DK/18.9 FD points per game. It's a lefty/lefty matchup but I am not worried as he has tallied an impressive .397 wOBA/152 wRC+ in the split. For Perez, he is one of the highest power upside catchers in the game who is starting to really heat up. He comes into Saturday with hits in eight of his last nine games including four multi-hit efforts, four home runs, and averaged 12.6 DK/16.8 FD points per game. At their prices, I will be stacking 3-4 Royals in my lineup in all formats. Also Consider: Ryan Noda(OAK) on the other side of this game...

Pitchers Early Shohei Ohtani FD 11500 DK 11100 Opponent - OAK (JP Sears) Park - OAK FD - 43.72 DK - 24.49 On a very weak slate for pitching we will be loading up with one of the best in the game and arguably ever(too early??) in Shohei Ohtani. He is coming off his best start of the season holding the Royals to two hits while striking out 11 and the cupcake schedule continues as he faces the A's for the second time after holding them scoreless and striking out 10 on opening day. The A's are also a bottom-five offense against right-handed pitching(.286 wOBA/86 wRC+/24.8% Krate). All things considered, Ohtani is once again an elite play in all formats. Now let's find some value! Also Consider: Both pitchers in the SEA/PHI game are in play but I like the savings with the home side and Matt Strahm(PHI) who has provided a ton of upside coming off an 11-K effort and has an elite 38% K rate and 15.4% whiff rate on the season Main Shane McClanahan FD 11300 DK 10000 Opponent - CHW (Dylan Cease) Park - CHW FD - 38.79 DK - 21.6 We have a little bit more of a decision to make on the main slate with three aces on the mound but it's Rays ace who is jumping off the page. In his third season in the league, he continues to get better in every area and enters the night 4-0 in five starts while allowing just six earned runs(1.86 ERA). He has not only been consistent and has provided a high floor, but he also has huge upside with a 32.5% K rate that could be higher based on his ridiculous 20.3% whiff rate. If you are not sold yet he also gets an elite matchup against a White Sox team that has been shut out in back-to-back games and has lost seven straight while scoring just 2.1 runs per game. McClanahan is my top pitcher in all formats on the main slate. Also Consider: Joey Lucchesi(NYM) who looked terrific in his first start of the season going seven innings allowing four hits, no earned runs, and striking out nine Giants in a win. Catcher/First Base Early Carlos Santana FD 2900 DK 3600 Opponent - LAD (Julio Urías) Park - LAD FD - 7.74 DK - 5.8 The Pirates have been an incredible story to start...
