Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 2/27/16 Late Slate Welcome back to our newest addition to the DFSR family, CBB picks! CBB is different than the NBA in terms of lineup building and strategy, so if you've got any questions about these picks or CBB in general, please comment at the bottom of this article. Tonight there is a solid six game slate, so we're going to take a look at the best value plays of the night. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Moses Kingsley FD - 9700 DK - 9400 If you have been following our CBB picks then hopefully you played Kingsley last time we recommended him, because all he did was put up 46 FD points. He was my favorite pick that night, and he’s my favorite pick tonight for many of the same reasons. This game has the highest O/U of the evening and the line is only -2 so the game should be very close. Combine all of that with the fact that Tennessee has a scoring defense ranked 256th in the nation and Kingsley should have a monster game. Dorian Finney-Smith FD - 8400 DK - 8000 Another high-scoring SEC matchup to keep an eye on is Florida vs LSU, and that makes Finney-Smith a great play tonight. The line for this one is -2 as well, so meaningful minutes shouldn’t be a problem here. LSU has been terrible this season from a scoring defense standpoint, ranking 280th in the nation in scoring defense. Finney-Smith has been solid all season in the SEC, averaging 15 ppg and 8 rpg on the season. I know Ben Simmons is a beast, but he struggles on the defensive end and I expect Smith to have a big game as a result. Georges Niang FD - 9600 DK - 9600 This is more of a tournament play for a couple of reasons, but I do think Georges Niang could be in line for a big game tonight. Niang has put up at least 30 FD points in 6 straight contests, which is a level of consistency that is not normally found in CBB. Now for the risk(s). The game has a high O/U, but the line is -9.5 so there is a chance this one get’s out of hand in the second half. If this happens and Niang has his minutes buzzed it would be tough for him to hit value. K-State has...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 2/27/16 Early Slate

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 2/27/16 Early Slate Welcome back to our newest addition to the DFSR family, CBB picks! There’s a huge slate of games tonight so we’re going to break it up into two different articles. This page will breakdown the best plays of the early slate, and give picks for the mid-afternoon slate as well. The second article will breakdown our favorite plays for the late night slate. Tons of CBB today, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Let’s get into it. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Roosevelt Jones FD - 8700 DK - 8100 My favorite guy on the early slate from the high-priced guy is Roosevelt Jones. Jones is one of the few guys in college these days to make it to his senior year while putting up solid numbers throughout his career (I feel like he’s been at Butler for like 10 years, but we won’t get into all that). Jones is one of those guys who does a little bit of everything, so he’s got a nice floor compared to someone who relies solely on scoring. Today he draws a nice matchup against Georgetown in a game that should be both high scoring and close. Jones has put up more than 30 FD points in 6 of his last 10 games, and I’m willing to bet that trend will continue today. Ryan Anderson FD - 8600 DK - 8500 Another high-priced guy who should have a big game today is Ryan Anderson. This guy has been a beast this year, averaging 16 ppg and 10 rpg on the season in a Pac-12 conference that has been deeper than most expected. This matchup against Utah should be fast-paced and close, given that the O/U is 144.5 and the line is -3. Anderson doesn’t do much other than score and rebound so he carries some risk from that perspective, but I just have a feeling this could be one of those 25 point, 12 rebound performances that you don’t want to miss out on. Michael Carrera FD - 9400 DK - 8500 From a PPD perspective I like Roosevelt a little better than Carrera, but I do think that Carrera has a good chance to put up the highest total on the early slate. Carrera’s numbers on the season have been good at 15 ppg and 8 rpg, but his inconsistency has been the reason these numbers...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 2/25/2016

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 2/22/16 Welcome to our newest edition of college basketball picks here at DFSR. A couple times a week we'll be taking a look at the NCAA basketball slate and throwing out some of the value plays. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Malcolm Hill FD 9300 DK 8500 Let’s get things rolling tonight with one of the most diverse offensive players in the Big Ten, Malcolm Hill. Illinois has been pretty terrible this year, but Hill has been a bright spot for them, particularly on the offensive end. He’s 18.6 ppg, just under 7 rpg, and about 3.5 apg on the season, which is especially impressive given he plays in the defensive minded Big Ten. I’m excited about the matchup with Indiana because they like to get up and down the floor, so I feel like this game should have no trouble exceeding the already high O/U. There’s a lot of mid-tier value on the slate so I wouldn’t spend up too much on the high priced guys, but Hill is definitely one I wouldn’t mind paying up for. Dedric Lawson FD 8700 DK 8500 This is one of the rare cases in which a guy priced this high is actually underpriced in my view, which makes Lawson one of my favorite value plays of the night as well. This game has the second highest O/U of the night making this a pretty attractive game to target in general. I cannot stress how dominant Lawson has been as of late, recording a double-double in his last 5 games while averaging 19 ppg and 11.6 rpg. Combine that with the fact that he’s averaging about 3 blocks/steals per game and Lawson has not only a high ceiling, but a pretty high floor. I’m playing him in all of my lineups tonight. Jakob Poeltl FD 10300 DK 9800 I don’t like him as much from a PPD standpoint, but there’s no denying that Poeltl will likely be the highest scoring player on the slate tonight. Utah has been much better than most expected this year, and the 7-foot Poeltl is the biggest reason why. To just give you a glimpse, he’s averaging 21 ppg and 9.6 rpg over his last 5. Not many programs have a guy who can match up with a 7-footer in college, and Arizona St. is certainly no exception. There is blow out possibility to be concerned about, but...

Click here to sign up From Justin's first CBB article: To get things started with our college basketball picks, I thought I’d talk a little about what makes CBB so much different from the NBA. College games are much lower scoring, therefore players rarely hit some of the high values seen in the NBA. If you’re able to create a lineup that returns x4, you’re almost guaranteed to win in cash games, and if you get a lineup that returns x5 or higher, you’ll likely be in the hunt to win the big tournaments. That means finding value plays, particularly at the lower end of things is critical to success. That being said, let’s get the picks rolling. Upper Tier Moses Kingsley FD - 9200 DK - 9200 This game is has the highest over/under of the slate, so it makes sense to start our picks here with Moses Kingsley. I know Ben Simmons is a big draw, but I can’t in good conscience recommend a guy priced that high. Moses Kingsley comes in much cheaper, and has almost as much upside in my eyes. He’s averaging 18 ppg and nearly 12 rpg over his last three, and has really seemed to hit his stride in the Arkansas offense. He’s been equally effective on the defensive end, averaging just a touch under 3.5 blocks/steals per game on the season. Mix all of that with LSU’s 277th ranked scoring defense and this feels like a huge game for Kingsley. Jaron Blossomgame FD - 9500 DK - 8500 I don’t love the over/under for this game, but I love the matchup. Georgia Tech has the 172nd ranked scoring defense in CBB, so definitely nothing to be concerned about there. Looking up and down their roster, I’ve come to the conclusion that they simply don’t have anybody who can even remotely match up with Blossomgame (not many people do but you get the idea). I wrote him up for Saturday and all he did was go out and drop a season-high 33 against NC State. His price bumped up a smidge from Saturday, but I still like him if you can spend up to roster him. Stefan Moody FD...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for FanDuel – 2/20/16

That means finding value plays, particularly at the lower end of things is critical to success. That being said, let’s get the picks rolling. Upper Tier Henry Ellenson FD - 9900 I really like the matchup Henry Ellenson has today against DePaul, and I like him as my highest upside potential top-dollar guy. Ellenson is a classic two way player who leads Marquette in scoring and rebounding, and also averages about 2.5 blocks/steals per game. Safe to say he does it all, which is crucial in CBB when scoring isn’t always the highest. Judging by their 242nd ranked scoring defense, DePaul’s about as solid as a wet paper towel when it comes to defending the basket. Look for Ellenson to stuff the sheet today. Retin Obasohan FD - 9100 This guy might be one of the hottest scorers in the country as of late, and unless you’re a diehard SEC basketball fan (and let’s be honest who really is?) you’ve probably never heard of the guy. Obasohan is averaging just over 22 ppg in his last 9 games, and has eclipsed the 40 point FD threshold in three of his last six games. Mississippi State’s scoring defense is ranked 219th this year, so just small step up from the previously mentioned wet paper towel defense of DePaul. Oh and did I mention Obasohan put up 47 FD points against Mississippi State just 17 days ago? I’ll definitely have him in all of my early lineups today. Jaron Blossomgame FD - 9100 Another guy who’s been on an absolute tear over his last 10 or so games is Jaron Blossomgame. Don’t let that last name fool you, this...
