Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/11/16 Tournament time is upon us, and I for one couldn’t be more excited. Postseason college basketball is arguably the most exciting time in all of sports, so why not amp up the excitement a little bit with some daily fantasy college basketball? I mean hey, even if you don’t have a favorite college team, everyone likes winning some extra cash right? We’ve got two pretty sizable slates coming up today so let’s get to it. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Dorian Finney-Smith FD - 8900 DK - 7700 This is what I wrote for Finney-Smith for yesterday’s game, and it pretty much holds true. If Egbunu doesn’t play again, Finney-Smith is a must play in my book. Finding players who will get a bump in usage and potentially minutes due to injury is always beneficial in DFS, and Dorian Finney-Smith should be able to take advantage of that very situation. John Egbunu is doubtful for Thursday’s game, making Finney-Smith far and away the best Florida option down low. This guy has been very consistent as of late, scoring over 22 FD points in 8 of his last 10 games, making him a pretty safe option even without the injury situation. Arkansas has a terrible team defense, Finney-Smith put up 22 points and 9 rebounds against the Razorbacks in their last meeting, and the increased usage should make for a big game. Yogi Ferrell FD - 8200 DK - 8200 Another guy I really like is Yogi Ferrell, the senior PG from Indiana. He’s really come into his own this year, leading Indiana in scoring and assists while leading them to the Big Ten regular season title. Since his backcourt mate Robert Johnson went down with an injury, Ferrell has been averaging 20.5 ppg and has scored over 27 FD points in all 4 of the games he’s played in. Michigan has a pretty stout defense, but Ferrell is a guy who can get his regardless of the matchup. Ben Simmons FD - 11700 DK - 11800 I’ve always resisted the urge to play Ben Simmons because his price is just so absurdly high, but I feel like he at least deserves a mention because he may very well be worth the price tag tonight. This guy has been the best college basketball player (statistically) this year, and he’s put up at least 40 FD points in 8 of his...

Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 3/9/16

Click here to sign up Upper Tier Grayson Allen FD - 9600 DK - 9600 My favorite high-priced guy on the slate has to be Grayson Allen of Duke. Now I know if you follow college basketball you might know him as that Duke kid who keeps tripping people, but rest assured, this guy can flat out score the basketball. He’s averaging over 21 ppg in the ACC, and rounds it out nicely with a couple rebounds and assists as well, which gives him a nice solid floor (he hasn’t scored less than 28 FD points in his last 7 games). The matchup against NC State couldn’t be much better, given that they like to play a fast-paced brand of basketball. Allen torched the Wolfpack for 28 points in their last meeting at Cameron Indoor, and I look for him to put up similar numbers in this one. Michael Gbinije FD - 8600 DK - 8900 The guy from Syracuse with the last name that gives spellcheck nightmares, Michael Gbinije (pronounced ben-e-jay or something like that) also happens to be one of the best all-around guards in the country. He averages over 17 ppg, 4 rpg, 4 apg, and 2 spg for the season, which gives him an incredibly safe floor without even mentioning that Boehiem routinely plays him 35+ mpg. The matchup with Pitt isn’t the best because they are a decent defensive unit, but Gbinije is one of the few guys who is matchup-proof because his game is so diverse. I don’t like him as much as Allen, but his upside and solid floor just can’t be ignored. Jordan Murphy FD - 8100 DK - 7400 Murphy is a decent player on a terrible team, which might make you wonder why I’m writing him in for picks today. One word: opportunity. Joey King, the senior leader of Minnesota was injured two games ago, and in the following game Murphy took a whopping 21 (!!!)...

Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 3/5/16 Early and Middle Slate

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 3/5/16 Early Slate Welcome back to our newest addition to the DFSR family, CBB picks! There’s a huge slate of games tonight so we’re going to break it up into two different articles. This page will breakdown the best plays of the early slate, and give picks for the mid-afternoon slate as well. The second article will breakdown our favorite plays for the late night slate. Tons of CBB today, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Let’s get into it. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Tyler Ulis FD - 10200 DK - 9600 I don’t normally pay up for guys who have a price tag in excess of 10k, but for Ulis I might make an exception today. He has put up 40+ FD points in 5 of his last 10 games, and I’m expecting for that trend to continue against LSU. For starters, LSU comes in with the 281st ranked scoring defense in the league, so you know Kentucky is going to be able to take advantage of that. This game also has the highest O/U on the early slate, so Ulis should have plenty of opportunities to score and assist in transition, something he has been phenomenal at this year. The spread is a little worrisome, but I think LSU will keep this one closer than many expect, and Ulis will get the minutes he needs to have a monster game. Armani Moore FD - 9100 DK - 8900 Speaking of guys who’ve been on fire lately, Armani Moore is also very high up on that list. All he’s done is put up 30+ FD points in 5 straight games, including a game over 40 and a game over 50 during that span. He’s been an absolute beast, averaging 15.6 ppg, 8.2 rpg, and 5.2 apg over his last 5, displaying the all-around game that is beginning to get the attention of NBA scouts. Mississippi is another one of those teams with a terrible scoring defense, ranking 190th in CBB in that particular category. Moore has a pretty safe floor in this one, but considering this is his senior night, I think he has the most upside of just about any guy on the early slate. A must play for me in all formats. Zach Auguste FD - 8800 DK - 8300 This is almost exactly the same write-up as Armani Moore, so I’ll keep...

Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel – 2/27/16 Late Slate

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel - 2/27/16 Late Slate Welcome back to our newest addition to the DFSR family, CBB picks! CBB is different than the NBA in terms of lineup building and strategy, so if you've got any questions about these picks or CBB in general, please comment at the bottom of this article. Tonight there is a solid six game slate, so we're going to take a look at the best value plays of the night. Playing other daily fantasy sports like NBA or NHL. Go ahead and get access to the exclusive projection system that produces all of our picks. Sign up now and get our lineup construction tool for FanDuel & DraftKings. Click here to sign up Upper Tier Moses Kingsley FD - 9700 DK - 9400 If you have been following our CBB picks then hopefully you played Kingsley last time we recommended him, because all he did was put up 46 FD points. He was my favorite pick that night, and he’s my favorite pick tonight for many of the same reasons. This game has the highest O/U of the evening and the line is only -2 so the game should be very close. Combine all of that with the fact that Tennessee has a scoring defense ranked 256th in the nation and Kingsley should have a monster game. Dorian Finney-Smith FD - 8400 DK - 8000 Another high-scoring SEC matchup to keep an eye on is Florida vs LSU, and that makes Finney-Smith a great play tonight. The line for this one is -2 as well, so meaningful minutes shouldn’t be a problem here. LSU has been terrible this season from a scoring defense standpoint, ranking 280th in the nation in scoring defense. Finney-Smith has been solid all season in the SEC, averaging 15 ppg and 8 rpg on the season. I know Ben Simmons is a beast, but he struggles on the defensive end and I expect Smith to have a big game as a result. Georges Niang FD - 9600 DK - 9600 This is more of a tournament play for a couple of reasons, but I do think Georges Niang could be in line for a big game tonight. Niang has put up at least 30 FD points in 6 straight contests, which is a level of consistency that is not normally found in CBB. Now for the risk(s). The game has a high O/U, but the line is -9.5 so there is a chance this one get’s out of hand in the second half. If this happens and Niang has his minutes buzzed it would be tough for him to hit value. K-State has...

Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – 2/27/16 Early Slate

Click here to sign up Upper Tier Roosevelt Jones FD - 8700 DK - 8100 My favorite guy on the early slate from the high-priced guy is Roosevelt Jones. Jones is one of the few guys in college these days to make it to his senior year while putting up solid numbers throughout his career (I feel like he’s been at Butler for like 10 years, but we won’t get into all that). Jones is one of those guys who does a little bit of everything, so he’s got a nice floor compared to someone who relies solely on scoring. Today he draws a nice matchup against Georgetown in a game that should be both high scoring and close. Jones has put up more than 30 FD points in 6 of his last 10 games, and I’m willing to bet that trend will continue today. Ryan Anderson FD - 8600 DK - 8500 Another high-priced guy who should have a big game today is Ryan Anderson. This guy has been a beast this year, averaging 16 ppg and 10 rpg on the season in a Pac-12 conference that has been deeper than most expected. This matchup against Utah should be fast-paced and close, given that the O/U is 144.5 and the line is -3. Anderson doesn’t do much other than score and rebound so he carries some risk from that perspective, but I just have a feeling this could be one of those 25 point, 12 rebound performances that you don’t want to miss out on. Michael Carrera FD - 9400 DK - 8500 From a PPD perspective I like Roosevelt a little better than Carrera, but I do think that Carrera has a good chance to put up the highest total on the early slate. Carrera’s numbers on the season have been good at 15 ppg and 8 rpg, but his inconsistency has been the reason these numbers...
