Point guard Russell Westbrook FD - $10500 DK - $10200 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 56.67 DK - 59.86 We've been knocking the NBA for short slates all-year long, but it's always been this way on Thursday. We actually see 2 or 3 games on most Thursdays, so 5 games is awesome. Especially these interesting 5 games. We'll start it off with the nightcap between the Thunder and Nuggets. Vegas has this game slated at a 214 over/under with an even spread. Westbrook hasn't been the same fantasy asset he was last year, but his price is reflecting that at under $10.5k on both sites, needing you 50-60 in cash games. Jamal Murray is a pitiful defender and the Nuggets have given up the 5th most FPPG (47.8) to opposing point guards. A lot of these Thunder guys are in play in a pace-up contest against a Nuggets squad that doesn't play much defense. Westbrook will have his way in this match-up and given the price drop, makes for a solid cash game and tournament play. I think he returns to his dominance tonight. John Wall FD - $10000 DK - $9500 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 49.65 DK - 51.74 I know you probably can't fit both of these guys, but you'll likely need at least 1. Wall, who's just a little cheaper than Russ, is in a phenomenal spot. He returned from injury last game and went right back to the Wall we know and love, putting up 50 fantasy points in 37 minutes. He's one of the more consistent NBA players of the last 5 or 6 years and it follows suit in DFS. In cash games, you'll rarely get disappointed. In tournaments, you'll rarely get 8 or 9x. While Wall has hit 70 fantasy points plenty of time, I'd rather pay for Westbrook if that's what I'm looking for. If I need a little bit of saving and am cool with a 50 spot, count me in for Wall. This match-up against the Lakers is a great one, especially with them coming off of a B2B. He didn't excel against them earlier in the year, but I promise you he won't shoot 7-22 again. Probably for...

Not only does it give a few Warriors minutes and shots, but it should also let the game stay competitive for 4 quarters, which is the big worry when the Warriors are playing. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all now elite plays and I have no problem with all 3 in cash games. We don't know exactly who will get the most minutes increase, but I would guess it's Iguodala and McCaw. Casspi could also get some run, but I don't think any of them are musts. If I had to play one, Iggy is the guy. All in all, everyone on both sides gets a considerable bump. Al Horford has been ruled out with a concussion Aron Baynes is now a phenomenal punt play at center who should get at least 25-28 minutes. His size will be needed against Brook Lopez and he is a good fantasy asset. Yabusele and Theis will also pick up a few minutes, but I don't love either. Lopez is also seeing a better defender in Baynes. Stanley Johnson is out against the Pacers Stanley Johnson doesn't do much when on the court, but he's out there plenty. Reggie Bullock should play close to 30 minutes and fit into a similar role. While he's interesting against a fast-paced Pacers squad, you can do better. Avery Bradley also gets his minutes solidified at 35+ and is an even better cash game play now than he was earlier. What We're Waiting to Know Kristaps Porzingis is questionable with an elbow injury Porzingis is the clear-cut top option on this offense, so if he's out, we'll look towards Tim Hardaway and Enes Kanter to grab a lot of the shots. Michael Beasley may also pick up close to 25 minutes and we know he loves to shoot when out there. I'd also like Aaron Gordon quite a bit more as he wouldn't have to deal with a 7 foot 2 monster under the rim. Every Lineup Guys Stephen Curry FD - $9500 DK - $9300 Opponent - MIN Proj Pts FD...

Point guard Goran Dragic FD - $7100 DK - $6800 Opponent - PHO Proj Pts FD - 37.06 DK - 38.23 Coming off a night with 10 very intriguing games, we're right back to a shorter slate with just 5 games on the docket. We'll start it off at point guard with Goran Dragic, who's been one of the more consistent options early in the season. He gets a match-up against a Suns squad that plays 2nd fastest in all of basketball and it will be a huge pace-up game for the Heat in general. There's also a lot of bad blood between these two teams, whether it be Len+Whiteside or how Dragic was sent out in 2015. It will remain competitive throughout and Dragic can be locked in for his nightly 32-35 minutes. In this fast-paced affair, I'd expect no less than 30. Kyrie Irving FD - $8900 DK - $8800 Opponent - LAL Proj Pts FD - 42.19 DK - 42.93 We were all over Irving against the Hawks on Monday and he went off with another 47 fantasy point performance. He's been between 40-50 in 6 of his last 7 starts and is turning into one of the more consistent high-end options out there. He certainly is against a Lakers team that doesn't play much defense. Lonzo Ball will eventually be a really good defender, but those days are a few years out. The Lakers have allowed the 3rd most FPPG to PG's so far at 51 and play at a top 10 PACE. Irving is a little more expensive than Dragic, but he's just as safe to get 45 as Dragic is to get 30. I have both of them locked into my cash games as we speak with no plans to change. However, there's always some tournament pivots, so let's touch on one that's a little too cheap. Jeff Teague FD - $6900 DK - $6500 Opponent - GS Proj Pts FD - 33.29 DK - 34.01 Jeff Teague isn't a guy that many thought would be playing like this. He's been over 35 fantasy points in 6 of his last 8 games and is as safe as any of the starters to see 35+ minutes. He's...

It's not a bad idea at all by the 76ers to give him a seat against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz. Gobert is the best defensive center in the league and while Embiid would have done fine, it would have been a hassle. Instead, a lot the looks will go to Ben Simmons, T.J. McConnell, and Robert Covington. With Jerryd Bayless also out, it puts McConnel into the spotlight as one of the top value plays on the day. He's the only 76'er I'll personally have exposure to. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is out with a bruised hip Hollis-Jefferson took a nasty fall last night in a game that was one of the most disappointing from a DFS-perspective in a while. RHJ has been the 2nd option on this offense, so this does matter more than it did last season. D'Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert, and DeMarre Carroll will all see 3 or 4 more shots. The minutes, though, will go to Quincy Acy.With Trevor Booker already out, there is nobody else at PF and we know C depth is nothing. Acy is bare minimum on both sites and a fantastic play because of it. He isn't a great player anymore, but he can still rebound with the best of 'em and it will be a challenge to miss value in 25-30 minutes (minimum). David Nwaba is out for the next 2-4 weeks He's been pretty good for the Bulls, but the minutes have remained limited. This won't make the biggest impact on any 1 guy, but all of Holiday, Dunn, and Valentine see a small boost for the next few weeks. They're fine against the Raptors, but I wouldn't let this news put you on anyone. Domantas Sabonis is out with a calf injury With Myles Turner already back, this doesn't do all too much. It forces Thaddeus Young to keep playing big minutes and Turner to get closer to 30. They are both interesting plays against a Pelicans squad that is going to demolish them. With that being said, their size will be neccesary, even if they do...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Kyrie Irving FD - $9500 DK - $8800 Opponent - ATL Proj Pts FD - 42.01 DK - 42.1 After a solid Sunday NBA slate, we have a short 3-gamer on our hands tonight. I don't know why the NBA schedule has been so weird early in the season, but let's hope it starts evening out sooner rather than later. While we only have 3 games on this slate, it's a pretty nice 3 games. We'll start off with an affair between the Hawks and Celtics that's sitting at a 206 over/under with BOS -6. This will be the game we get the least exposure to, but it's still a pretty solid game to target. It will stay close at a fairly decent pace and have some of the lower-owned plays of the day. I don't think Kyrie will fit into that low-owned category, but he's a great play nonetheless. He hasn't gone off for over 50+ fantasy points, but he's been more consistent than he ever was in Cleveland. He is on a B2B, but he only played 27 minutes last night, so 35+ should be no issue. Dennis Schroder is an atrocious defender and the Hawks have allowed the 8th most FP to PG's since 2016. Irving is a great high-end PG option who may have his first 50 FP total of the season. Mike James FD - $5800 DK - $5300 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 30.28 DK - 30.08 I could be way off here, but I think Mike James is going to be one of those guys that flash in the pan and completely disappear before arising as a backup somewhere else. Maybe he'll be the new Ramon Sessions. Maybe he'll be the next Steve Nash. Doubtful. I think everyone knows Tyler Ulis is a better PG, but James plays better with Booker, so he's getting more minutes and producing. He's been over 20 fantasy points in just about every game and showed his upside with 45 less than a week ago. We're going to get to a few more Suns, so I'll save the Nets speel for them. You just need to know that the Nets play at the fastest pace and...
