We kick it off with a guy who may be one of the higher-owned plays of the entire season. With Damian Lillard ruled out, there's a lot to choose from on this Blazers squad. The obvious come at guard and start with Shabazz Napier. He's already getting close to 20 minutes a night with Lillard out and should get close to 35 or 40 here. The Nuggets are dead last in the NBA against PG's, allowing 50.8 FPPG. Jamal Murray is a big reason why, but they also have no rim protection. Shabazz is active when on the floor and I see no reason not to plug Him into every lineup. He's close to minimum price and as close as you'll ever get to a lock for value. Don't overthink this one. Jamal Murray FD - $6400 DK - $5800 Opponent - POR Proj Pts FD - 28.11 DK - 29.25 Jamal Murray is a really good PG and he's finally getting some consistent minutes. He's been over 35 minutes in 3 of the last 4 and put up 33, 43, and 53 fantasy points. This match-up against the Blazers is better than any of the previous 3 and he'll have no trouble putting up numbers if the minutes are there. It'll be Shabazz Napier on him for most of the game and he is nothing at all to be scared of. He's even worse than Damian Lillard and has nobody to help at the rim. Murray is a lethal scorer and the Blazers won't be able to switch with Harris and Barton just as dangerous at the 2 and 3. Murray is way too cheap on both sites and a guy I'm willing to play in all formats. His minutes have been volatile on the season, but things are looking up and this isn't the match-up to strip his minutes. John Wall FD - $9500 DK - $8700 Opponent - BKN Proj Pts FD - 43.96 DK - 44.11 If you're looking to pay up, you can go Westbrook...

We've got you completely covered. What We Know J.J. Redick has been ruled out against the Raptors with a hamstring injury With Embiid and Booker questionable, we may be looking at a very short-handed Sixers squad. As for the Redick news, I don't think it's hard to figure out. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is a guy they trust a lot and have no issue giving him 35 minutes. He's a guy I'll have almost everywhere at close to minimum price. We'll get to rest of the guys with Embiid. What We're Waiting to Know Joel Embiid and Trevor Booker are questionable against the Raptors Let's assume both of these guys play. The game will still be close and you can consider anyone in a tournament. Simmons would fall down a little bit and Johnson/Holmes would go irrelevant. If they both sit out, Richaun Holmes will get 25 minutes and be relevant in all formats. He's a great point per minute option and the Raptors are nothing to be scared of. Ben Simmons, Covington, TLC, and McConnell will also see a few extra shots each and have to be considered with just 5 games on the slate. Kristaps Porzingis "doesn't see why he wouldn't be able to play" vs the Celtics I don't know, maybe because you have a knee injury. Assuming he gives it a go, you can ignore Michael Beasley and anyone else in the frontcourt. The Celtics aren't an easy match-up and this situation is going to be very fluid. If Porzingis is out again, go ahead and plug in Michael Beasley who's still too cheap for 30+ minutes. Donovan Mitchell has been ruled questionable to return from injury Mitchell is obviously the main scorer on this offense, and he sees a bump with Rudy Gobert out of the lineup. However, this isn't a good match-up and the game will be extremely low-scoring. If he's out, Rodney Hood and Alec Burks are both going to see 25+ minutes and are at least decent cash game value plays. Ricky Rubio will also see some extra ball-handling responsibility. If Mithell plays, I don't have much interest in this team as a whole. Jaylen Brown is questionable to play against the Knicks Jaylen Brown is a huge piece of this offense, so...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Kyle Lowry FD - $8500 DK - $8600 Opponent - PHI Proj Pts FD - 40.05 DK - 41.77 After a jam-packed Wednesday slate with FP coming in every direction, we enter a solid Thursday with more games than usual.Unfortunately, these games aren't very fun. Maybe you disagree, but try finding 15 guys to write about here that aren't dependent on injury news. You can't. We'll get to some interesting situations with Porzingis questionable and Embiid fully expected to miss. We'll start off with Toronto, though, who'll be facing the 76'ers on the road in the Wells Fargo Center. The Raps handily beat the Hornets last night and it allowed Lowry and DeRozan to get some rest. Lowry finished with just 24 minutes and should be good to go for a full stretch, even on a B2B. The '6ers have given up the 8th most FP to PG's in the league, but rank 2nd worst over the last 10. T.J. McConnell and Jerryd Bayless are just worthless defenders that rely on interior help and are missing it with the injury to Embiid. Lowry typically sits around 40 FP and I'd personally be shocked to see any less than 35. This game will almost guaranteed stay close and both teams should be ready to run a full complement of minutes. Lowry is always one of the safer plays on the slate and has to be considered a top play against a Philly squad we've been targeting all year long. Kyrie Irving FD - $8700 DK - $8700 Opponent - NY Proj Pts FD - 39.49 DK - 40.48 It's never a tough task to fall in love with Kyrie Irving in DFS. He only seems to come through with a solid game every. single. night. For a guy with a load of volatility as a Cavalier, it's insane to see him with this level of consistency. He's the conductor of this offense and locked into such a safe role of 30-34 minutes and 20%+ usage. He now gets to see the Knicks, who happen to rank 5th worst against PG's with 48.6 FPPG allowed. Jack and Ntilikina are 2 guys that have less than a 0% chance of staying in front...

We've got you completely covered. What We Know Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier have been ruled out against the Bulls These are 2 of the 3 biggest shot-takers on this Magic team, so there has to be some interest. With that being said, it's probably not a spot to go crazy at guard. Afflalo will return and eat into the minutes of the 3 PG. Mack is the guy I'll go with in some tournaments because of the price. At small forward, Hezonja and Simmons are 2 elite plays in all formats that can be penciled in for 30+ minutes. Simmons will shoot 20 times here and has a ton of upside against a weak Bulls defense. Nikola Vucevic has also been going nuts as of late and will see an extra few minutes + as many shots as he possibly wants. He's an elite play, but the price is somewhat prohibitive and this game won't be very fast. All in all, everyone that sees the court will have a very heightened usage and the minutes should be relatively concentrated. Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out with a bruised toe For a team that's missing it's big man, this kind of hurts. Only kind of because they have a lot of talented guards that can step in and play a similar role right away. Both Rodney Hood and Alex Burks will immediately see huge minutes and be in play every night until Mitchell comes back. This is a fast-paced game against a Thunder squad that can struggle against the 2 when Roberson isn't in there. They may also be without their rim protector in Steven Adams, who makes a huge difference. Mitchell is the number 1 option on this offense and it'll be a collective effort to make up for his absence. Derrick Favors is probable to return for the Jazz Where they lose Mitchell, they'll pick up some size in Favors with Gobert out. He excelled with Gobert our last time, but it's hard to trust a big man coming off an injury. Especially one named Derrick Favors. This just takes away from any appeal Epke Udoh and Jonas Jerebko may have had. My focus for the Jazz is still the guards we touched on just a second...

We've got you completely covered. Point guard Jeff Teague FD - $6400 DK - $6100 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 34.96 DK - 35.06 We had a solid 3-game slate last night with one of the best games on this entire season in CLE @ MIL. We now get to a fun DFS slate tonight with 12 games on the docket and a ton of different things to dive into. The first of which will be Jeff Teague and how bad the Nuggets are against point guards. They've ranked dead last all year against the position, but just keep getting worse. They've now allowed 58 FP per game over the last 10 and have shown no signs of improving. Jamal Murray is a bad defender, but it has just as much to do with the lack of rim protection the big men offer. Teague isn't the most dynamic player in the league and he's not very fun to roster as a 3rd/4th option on team, but he's EXTREMELY safe in this particular match-up. You know he's getting the 35-40 minutes and will shoot 13+ times with 7+ assists. Plug Teague into your cash games and move on. In tournaments, you can probably do better, but he's a great filler and I wouldn't switch things around to get away from him. Point guard isn't as great as usual and Teague is a phenomenal mid-priced play in every way. Damian Lillard FD - $8800 DK - $8500Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 42.88 DK - 44.76 Wow, against the Spurs? Yes, and it's not even that big of a deal. With the carousel of Tony Parker, Mills, and Murray, they have ranked 3rd worst against PG's in the entire league. The only guy that can probably slow Lillard is Danny Green, but he's unlikely to play and will be on McCollum even if he does. Lillard has been insane this season and is typically sitting around 45-50 fantasy points. His price is high, but not really. Under $9k on both sites, Lillard is hitting value on a daily basis. If it stays close and Lillard plays the 35 minutes he should, he could easily get to 60 FP and be a 10% owned PG that wins you...
