It'll be important to pick the right ones and just as important to pick the correct value to get there. We'll kick things off at PG with Chris Paul, who's going to steadily produce for as long as James Harden is out. He's been dominant over the last few games and hit 44 in each of the last 2. He now gets a phenomenal match-up with the Chicago Bulls, who rank 26th in the NBA against point guards. Kris Dunn is one of the best in the league at stealing the ball, but takes a lot of chances and gives up a lot of easy buckets in return. Chris Paul doesn't miss easy buckets. He's back to his old 10+ assists a night as the primary ballhandler and is one of the safest plays on the entire slate. Stephen Curry FD - $9800 DK - $10500 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 52.9 DK - 54.98 With Kevin Durant questionable tonight, we're going to look at a few Warriors. I know Chris Paul and Steph Curry are the 2 most expensive options at the position, but you just can't ignore him if Durant is out. He's put up 47 and 63 fantasy points in the last 2 games with him out and saw his usage rate go from 30% to 33.5%. He now draws a match-up against a Nuggets team that we've been targeting point guards against all year long. If it wasn't for facing some bad PG's over the last 2 weeks, the Nuggets would still rank dead last against the position. They have for most of the season and will be right back there when the schedule evens out. Jamal Murray is not only a bad defender, but Nikola Jokic is one of the worst paint protectors around. After just 2 games last night, we're looking at a jam-packed 10 tonight. There are no clear games that stand above the rest and there's a ton to dissect. Point guard lives up to its potential as one of the best positions on the slate and there are a few different ways to go. On the high-end, Kyle Lowry is the move. This bout between the Bucks and Raptors will stay close and I expect an over/under well over 215. On the season, the Bucks rank 20th against PG's. Not great, but not bad. However, it's been getting a lot worse. They rank dead last over the last 5 and 28th over the last 10. Eric Bledsoe is no tremendous defender and can be taken advantage of with ease. Lowry is under $8k and will only need you about 40 in cash games. If this one stays close, I see him getting there like he did 2 games ago. Giannis or Middleton will be on DeRozan and funnel a healthy amount of shots his way. He put up 46 against these guys just a couple days ago and will look for a similar performance here. He's a safe play in all formats at a strong position. With only 2 games on the slate, it's far from a regular slate. The NBA has done a good job of limiting slates like this all year long, but at least these 2 games are extremely entertaining. We haven't seen a line from Vegas on either game, but I'm willing to bet both hold an over/under over 220. Let's start with the Rockets. Playing just last night and taking care of business rather easily against Orlando, they did a good job of resting the starters. Chris Paul only ended up playing 32 minutes, which is awesome. He played 42 minutes the game before, so he's capable if the game stays close. With Harden out, the Rockets are going to struggle to stay with the Warriors, but Chris Paul is the way they can do it. He'll match-up with Stephen Curry in what is a top 10 PG match-up of the last 30 years. Yes, I said that. Paul is going to see a very high usage % with Harden out and I don't see him getting under 50 here if things stay close. His price is high, but it will be over $11k once he finds his stride with Harden out. Russell Westbrook FD - $12500 DK - $11300 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 57.06 DK - 60.32 Even though we have just 2 games on this slate, PG is stacked. We're even skipping Stephen Curry in a decent match-up. If you can pay all the way up for Westbrook, he's worth it. Like a lot of the Rockets, he was limited to just 27 minutes last night. The Thunder knew they had a game tonight and it's a great sign that he'll play 35+. The Clippers are going to have a lot of trouble with Westbrook whether it's Austin Rivers or Milos Teodosic. Neither of them is above average defenders and we know the Clippers are weak on the interior. While DeAndre Jordan is intimidating as they get, there's a reason they allow the 6th most points in the paint to guards. The game should...

With Harden out for an extended period of time, expect Chris Paul to consistently go off. He's going to see an ungodly 20%+ usage and at least 35 minutes in close games. Eric Gordon will also see close to 40 minutes in most games and shoot a lot more than usual. Ariza and Anderson will also get some extra shots and are already pretty safe options. Tonight, the Rockets face a lackluster Magic defense. All of these guys are cash game plays with plenty of tournament upside in a game that's expected to be close and high-scoring. Gordon and Paul are elite plays in all formats and should be close to 50% owned in cash games. Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green will rest against the 76ers Leonard picked up 30 minutes last night, so he's getting back into the swing of things. With him resting, a lot of the usage will go back to LaMarcus Aldridge. With Rudy Gay also out, Kyle Anderson will get a bunch of minutes and has a floor over 25 fantasy points. This match-up with the 76ers is phenomenal as they should keep it close and don't play much defense. With Danny Green out, it'll be Forbes, Paul, and Mills to pick up minutes. You can take a flier on those guys, but I much prefer Aldridge and Anderson from the Spurs side. Caris LeVert has been ruled out LeVert is seeing 30 minutes on most nights and there will be value up for grabs if he's ruled out. The T-Wolves are an average defense that plays pretty quickly, and this game should be close according to Vegas. If he's ruled out, Stauskas, Harris, and Crabble will all pick up 8-10 minutes. They are all viable options, but you can probably do better in a cash game. What We're Waiting to Know Joel Embiid is doubtful to play against the Spurs It's somewhat annoying that the 76ers don't just rule him in or out. With James Harden already getting ruled out, there are a ton of minutes and shots to go around for the Rockets. Chris Paul got up to 42 minutes last game, so he's definitely 100% healthy. You can expect another 35+ tonight and a whole lot of shots/ball-handling. He's still the same guy as ever and is showing it a lot more than you'd expect, even with Harden in the lineup. He'll now have the offense in his hands and be able to do whatever he pleases. The Magic rank dead last in the NBA against PGs at 48 FPPG, with Payton struggling on the perimeter and Biyombo being a liability in the paint. Paul can be penciled in for 35+ minutes, 40+ fantasy points, and a ceiling for a whole lot more. Paul is going to be uber-popular with Harden out, but it's a piece of chalk you should probably ride with. Darren Collison FD - $6100 DK - $6300 Opponent - MIL Proj Pts FD - 30.89 DK - 31.43 Victor Oladipo has already been ruled out against the Bucks, and we know what to do for the most part. First things first, completely ignore last game for the Pacers. Every starter saw under 25 minutes and ended up being a rest game. Aside from that game, Darren Collison has been over 34 minutes in every game with 'Dipo out. His usage has jumped over 20% in his absence and he put up 45 and 33 fantasy points in the 2 normal games prior to last. The match-up with the Bucks and Eric Bledsoe is pretty nice, as they rank 21st in the league against PG's and aren't getting any better with Henson manning more minutes in the paint. Collison isn't a guy you play for the upside, but it's definitely there if this stays close. It might be a slight stretch with 'Dipo out of the lineup, but they do have the firepower to keep it close if the right...
