Point Guard D'Angelo Russell FD - $7300 DK - $7600 Opponent - LAC Proj Pts FD - 40.09 DK - 41.16 Russell has been incredible since Karl-Anthony Towns went down, and it's hard to understand why he's not above $8K on both sites. The former All-Star has scored at least 33 DraftKings points in 10 straight games while flirting with a 40-point average in that span. That's the stud we saw in his Brooklyn days, but it's no surprise since he's seeing a massive boost in usage, minutes, and shot attempts in the absence of KAT. Facing the Clippers used to be concerning, but Russell has at least 34 DraftKings points in five of his last six matchups with Los Angeles. Jordan Goodwin FD - $5200 DK - $5600 Opponent - DEN Proj Pts FD - 34.88 DK - 33.63 Washington has been obliterated by injuries once again, but it's made Goodwin a fantasy-relevant option. Bradley Beal, Monte Morris, Delon Wright, and Kristaps Porzingis are all nicked up right now, forcing JG into a 35-minute role as the starting point guard. Over his last three games, Goodwin is generating a 37-point average across 36 minutes a night. That's the production you usually see from a $7K player, and it's right on par with our projections. Denver is far from a devastating matchup, with the Nuggets ranked 27th in defensive efficiency ratings this season. Jordan Poole (FD $6700 DK $7800) is averaging nearly 40 fantasy points per game as a starter this season and could see an expanded role if some of these starters are rested in the second half of a back-to-back set. Shooting Guard Tyler Herro FD - $7700 DK - $8100 Opponent - OKC Proj Pts FD - 38.28 DK - 40.01 We would...
Zion Williamson and Chris Paul leads the Daily Fantasy DraftKings and FanDuel NBA Picks – Tuesday, December 13, 2022

Point Guard/ Shooting Guard Chris Paul FD - $7200 DK - $6200Opponent - HOUProj Pts FD - 41.99 DK - 43.77 With Devin Booker still out for the Suns, we are going to want to load up on some other Phoenix pieces on this slate for cash. They draw the Rockets, still one of the best DFS matchups around and there is now a lot of usage left on the table with the star out. Paul jumps to the top of the list for obvious reasons and the only real concern here is a minutes ceiling as he works his way back from injury. But he played 34 in each of the last two games, averaging 15 points and nine assists in that span. I do think that’s on the low end of the expected production and his price is kind of a joke on both sites. CJ McCollum FD - $7500 DK - $6900Opponent - UTAProj Pts FD - 38.89 DK - 41.72 The Pelicans are going to be at least one more game with Brandon Ingram, leaving at least for this one, considerable usage for McCollum in the offense. He gets a great matchup against a Utah Jazz team playing the 5th-worst defensive efficiency in the league and running an above-average pace. CJ has taken 16 and 24 shots respectively in the last two games after seeing that number around 11 for the three previous games. It’s unreasonable to expect those shot attempts to stay so low going forward and I think we are buying at a great price because of it. James Harden FD - $9700 DK - $9700Opponent - SACProj Pts FD - 48.46 DK - 52.14 Some of the plays on this slate are underpriced and we could be able to fit some superstar-level plays across the board if things break just right. Harden is one of those dudes who’s coming just a bit too cheap. He’s back to playing full minutes, running 38 in regulation last time out after two overtime affairs in the previous two games. In that time, he’s averaging 23 points and almost 12 assists. He’s been terribly inefficient from the field,...
DFS NBA Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings – Saturday 4/9/22 – All Day

Point Guard / Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $9600 DK - $9800Opponent - INDProj Pts FD - 47.93 DK - 51.44 The all-day slate is going to be a tricky one because there isn’t a whole lot in the way of motivation happening in these four games. Most teams are just treading water until the playoffs or their season is well over. But the 76ers still have a chance to make it to the three seed in the East if they want and that should be enough motivation to play the starters at least moderate minutes. Sure, they are likely to completely demolish the Pacers who have been trying to lose with a fury over the last month, but Harden’s floor should be high enough in this one to justify the expense. And seeing as how there will be plenty of cheap plays in other places we are likely to just pay up for him and Embiid and call it a day in that tier. Jordan Poole FD - $7900 DK - $8000Opponent - SAProj Pts FD - 39.86 DK - 41.99 It’s hard to know how much the Warriors value the three seed in the West though one has to assume they still see this as a very winnable game considering the Spurs have chosen to sit basically their entire starting five. Even in limited minutes Poole could be in for major usage considering Stephen Curry is already out and Klay Thompson is going to sit as well. This scenario played out two games ago against the Kings and Poole ran 34 minutes, putting up 15 shots and dropping 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists. He and Wiggins should lead the way in usage with the only question becoming if they play enough minutes to hit value. Tre Jones FD - $6500 DK - $5400Opponent - GSProj Pts FD - 30.49 DK - 30.46 The Spurs are sitting basically everyone out for this game including Dejounte Murray, Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and Jakob Poeltl. It’s going to be the B-Team’s time to shine and there could be quite a few minutes going to some of the lower...

Point Guard Spencer Dinwiddie FD - $6900 DK - $6800Opponent - PORProj Pts FD - 38.88 DK - 42.89 The Wizards are still a game or two from getting Bradley Beal back in the mix, so I think we can continue playing Dinwiddie here in cash even with the price on the climb. He’s facing off against a Portland team that is ranked dead last on defense this season while also running a slightly above-average pace. It’s just a great matchup and Dinwiddie has been seeing an uptick in usage with Beal on the shelf. The former has taken 14 and 15 shots over the last two games respectively with double-digit assists in one of them. This is still a spot to run him out there and I think he will see heavier ownership even while pushing $7K on both sites. Darius Garland FD - $8100 DK - $7900Opponent - OKCProj Pts FD - 39.31 DK - 43.44 The Cavaliers are having no luck with their point guards this season with Collin Sexton and Ricky Rubio lost for the season and now recent addition Rajon Rondo banged up. But with the latter out on Friday, it was Garland’s game to fully take over. He got up 25 shots in his 37 minutes against the Spurs, scoring 32 points and adding eight assists. If Rondo is out again and we can project max minutes for Darius here then I think he’s a cash game play again, this time against a very weak Thunder team. Shooting Guard James Harden FD - $10300 DK - $11200Opponent - NOProj Pts FD - 50.17 DK - 54.99 The Nets have been totally fine running Harden major minutes this season and that should be the case once again on Saturday. He’s double-doubled with points and assists in two of the last three games And he’s put up 25+ points in every game during that stretch. The Pelicans are among the worst defensive teams in the league this season, ranking 25th overall. Harden is getting a little pricey on DraftKings, but with enough savings elsewhere I think we can run him on FanDuel as one of the spend-up options. Will...

Point Guard LaMelo Ball FD - $8000 DK - $8900Opponent - ORLProj Pts FD - 40.99 DK - 44.42 We are definitely going to be able to get some plays out of this game between 24th and 25th-ranked defensive teams in the NBA who play at above-average paces this season. That’s the sweet spot when it comes to fantasy and is a matchup we are going to want to target. The good news on LaMelo is that he’s been playing more minutes of late, something we’ve been waiting on much of the year. The fantasy performances have been shaky, but the Hornets’ results (all wins) are encouraging that it keeps up. He’s taken 16 or more shots in each of the last three, though it struggling some from beyond the arc. No matter though because this is such a good matchup against the Magic and Ball won’t break the bank for you. Cole Anthony FD - $7600 DK - $7800Opponent - CHAProj Pts FD - 39.41 DK - 43.56 Jalen Suggs is back for this one which could cut into Anthony’s usage just a bit. But it’s unlikely to turn the second-year point guard to dust or anything like that. Anthony has been one of the true fantasy surprises this season, becoming someone who can contribute across the box score. His rebounding has really picked up, averaging six boards a game to go with his 20 points. It’s such an encouraging sign and he pulls a great matchup on Friday against a Hornets team that flies up and down the court. I think he’s coming too cheap on both sites. Shooting Guard Cade Cunningham FD - $6000 DK - $7600Opponent - TORProj Pts FD - 33.46 DK - 37.39 Cade is still coming way, way to cheap on FanDuel where he’s likely to be a popular play once again. The rookie has had some up-and-down performances of late, with the play inconsistent enough to have the price stagnate some in this tier. But overall, he’s been good enough during his first season to warrant going back to the well as a higher floor play on this slate. He gets up double-digit shots easy...
