Lester will enter his 3rd start of they ear with a decent start and great peripherals. Lester has pitched well and his velocity is as high as ever. Arrieta showed just yesterday how bad this Rockies lineup can be when out of Coors Field. I expect Lester to carry over Arrieta's stellar performance into one of his own. Lester was great in 2016 as he held both lefties and righties under a .300 wOBA. I am comfortable with Lester in both cash game and tournaments against a weak Rockies line Read More >

The Cubs are in a great spot to bounce back from yesterday where they could only scrape together 1 run. Today they will be facing off with Christian Bergman and are certainly my favorite stack in the early slate. While the top 4 or 5 may be heavily owned, you don't have to stack all those guys. The Cubs are a unique lineup as all 8 guys can put up big numbers and keep a rally going. If you are looking to be contrarian, stack Rizzo, Bryant, Russell and Szczur. You will likely be the only Cubs stack with those 4. Bergman has displayed some reverse splits as he has given up a career wOBA of .425 to righties and .299 to lefties. This gives you the opportunity to use an edge against the average player that has no clue about those splits. This doesn't necessarily mean I am off the lefties as I think this whole offense goes nuts today. Read More >
Arrieta has already proven last year was no fluke and he will be looking to defend his Cy Young title this year. This match-up is a terrific one against Colorado, as the Rockies have always struggled on the road coming out of Coors Field. Their offense is very exploitable as only a few of their players would be great bats on other teams. Arrieta will find plenty of strikeouts in this lineup with guys like Mark Reynolds, Ben Paulsen, Trevor Story and even Carlos Gonzalez. Arrieta has exhibited a wOBA under .245 to both righties and lefties, while his peripherals have not shown any sign of decline. Read More >
