Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 9200 DK 7900 Opponent MIAProj Points FD - 24.99 DK - 24.99 This almost doesn’t feel like a playoff game with the way the Dolphins are coming into Buffalo. It’s unclear who will play quarterback and it’s also unclear how they stand a chance at all against the Bills. That being said, we do know what we are getting on the other side of the ball and that’s one of the most dangerous passing attacks out there when things are rolling right. To some degree that was on display against the Patriots on Sunday with the Bills needing to win to secure their seeding. Allen went for 254 yards and three touchdowns on 31 attempts. It hasn’t been great over the second half of the season, but if the rushing attempts are going to stay in the 8-9 range then he has as high a floor (and ceiling) as anyone out there. Daniel Jones FD 7400 DK 5600 Opponent MINProj Points FD - 21.51 DK - 21.51 The Giants are only +3 dogs going into Minnesota for this Wild Card game and Daniel Jones is a big reason why. He’s been among the surprise fantasy upside quarterbacks this season, combining just enough in the passing attack (to total dustball WRs) with the ability to get out and run when necessary. Two weeks ago against these same Vikings, Jones threw for 334 yards and a touchdown. Plus, over the course of the season, he’s averaged 44 yards per game on the ground. The latter could really be there this week in a great game environment and the Giants playing for their lives. At his pricing, I suspect he sees heavy ownership, especially on DraftKings. Running Backs Saquon Barkley FD 8800 DK 7900 Opponent MINProj Points FD - 19.08 DK - 21.36 On DraftKings, Saquon Barkley makes for a tough fade here seeing as how he’s somewhat game-script independent because of how the Giants use him in the offense. The blowout to Philly in Week 13 was the only game in which he saw fewer than 16 touches and he averaged 23.2 (carries + targets) over the course of the season. Here he’ll face a 27th (27th!!) ranked Minnesota defense that was well below average against both the pass and the run (worse against the...

Quarterbacks Justin Herbert FD 7800 DK 6600 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 20.79 DK - 20.79 This wildcard matchup between the Chargers and Jaguars is where I will be focusing most of my exposure on Saturday and it starts with a total(47.5) that is almost a touchdown higher than the 49ers/Seahawks. For Herbert, he checks almost every box and it starts with the matchup against the Jags' defence that ranks 30th in DVOA against the pass and 24th in fantasy points against quarterbacks. While Herbert struggled to hit 3x value over his last four games, he did throw multiple touchdowns in each of the last two games. Herbert has the highest floor and ceiling on this small slate and is our top quarterback in all formats. Brock Purdy FD 7100 DK 5500 Opponent SEA Proj Points FD - 14.49 DK - 14.49 If you are looking to take the value route, especially on DraftKings, Brock Purdy is the cheapest option on the slate, the biggest favourite, and has played terrific down the stretch. Since taking over for the injured Jimmy G in week 13, Purdy thrown for multiple touchdowns in all five games while averaging 18.1 fantasy points per game. He is surrounded by talented playmakers and can easily be double-stacked and his price also allows us to load up on elite running backs on this slate. I will have a ton of exposure to Purdy in all formats. Running Back Austin Ekeler FD 9000 DK 8300 Opponent JAX Proj Points FD - 19 DK - 21.58 Travis Etienne Jr. FD 7100 DK 6300 Opponent LAC Proj Points FD - 16.65 DK - 17.83 All three top running backs on this slate are in play and can be stacked together with the value at other positions. Let's start with Austin Ekeler who led all running backs in targets(7.5) and receptions(6.3) per game while also setting career-highs in rushing yards, targets, and receptions(still would have got there on tar/rec with 17 weeks). While the Jags offence has been above-average against running backs(11th in DVOA vs the rush), the matchup is...

For a limited time, we're offering a free one-week trial to all the sports that we cover - that's optimal lineups for NFL and MLB - for the same low price. Get started now! START YOUR FREE TRIAL NOW! Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts FD 9000 DK 8200 Opponent NYGProj Points FD - 26.07 DK - 26.07 Week 18 is always the toughest to get a handle on with teams’ motivations all over the place for the final game of the regular season. In this case, we know that the Eagles have as much to play for as anyone, needing only to win to secure the top seed in the NFC East. Hurts is going to return after a multi-week absence to play against the Giants. Hurts has about as high a floor as it gets in this offense and the Eagles are huge, -14 favorites going into this game. The price is on the high side of course, but this is a guy who ranks third overall in DraftKings scoring on the season despite playing two fewer games than the guys above him (Mahomes and Allen). For Saturday’s main slate, Hurts is basically as safe as it gets assuming he’s fully healthy now. Geno Smith FD 7300 DK 6000 Opponent LARProj Points FD - 20.09 DK - 20.09 The Seahawks are another team that will have to give a full effort in Week 18. They play in the 4PM hour and if they win and the Packers lose then Seattle is in the playoffs as the 7th seed. With Green Bay not playing until the evening, Seattle will have to do work against the Rams and then just wait. That puts Smith in a good spot from a fantasy perspective and is coming cheaper on DraftKings where he’s just QB9 in pricing. The yards haven’t been there in recent weeks for Smith, but I still think we can play him here against the Rams who rank 24th in defensive DVOA against the pass this season. Running Backs Christian McCaffrey FD 10000 DK 9300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 25.48 DK - 28.89 With the Eagles and 49ers both playing at the same time in the 4PM hour, we can know that they should both be going for it when it comes to trying to win. If the Eagles were to lost and San Fran won then the latter would have the #1 seed and a bye in the first round. McCaffrey is coming off another huge volume week that saw him get...

Quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers FD 7100 DK 6000 Opponent MINProj Points FD - 19.66 DK - 19.66 The Packers somehow find themselves in the playoff hunt despite looking all but dead just a few weeks ago. But everything has broken right for this team and now they find themselves home favorites against the 12-3 Vikings. Minnesota ranks 24th against the pass this season and this game’s 48 over/under is the second-highest of the main slate. Rodgers has gotten more comfortable with some of the young receivers in Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, opening up the air attack even more. He’s coming cheap enough on both sites to consider in cash. Gardner Minshew FD 7500 DK 5500 Opponent NOProj Points FD - 19.62 DK - 19.62 It doesn’t look like Jalen Hurts is going to play in Week 17, though that has yet to be determined. It should be Gardner Minshew once again for the Eagles and he’s coming so, so cheap on DraftKings for another week. In place of Hurts, Minshew threw the ball 40 times against Dallas (completing 25) for 355 yards and two touchdowns. Though he’s clearly not as good as Hurts (few are), this team still has weapons which he utilized last time out. The floor is definitely high enough against the Saints to think about playing him on DK. Strongly consider Daniel Jones Running Backs Rhamondre Stevenson FD 7000 DK 6800 Opponent MIAProj Points FD - 17.41 DK - 19.63 Even at 7-8, the Patriots are still in the mix for the playoffs in the AFC and will have a chance to make a real move here if they can beat the Patriots at home. Rhamondre Stevenson has one of the best roles in football, coming off playing 91% of the team’s offensive snaps in Week16. As long as this one is close, he should see the bulk of the touches and they’ve used him more in the passing game over the second half of the season. Miami has a good defensive DVOA ranking against the rush, but are a below average defense on the season. I like Stevenson at these price points. Tyler Allgeier FD 6700 DK 5300 Opponent ARIProj Points FD - 17.6 DK - 19.35 The Falcons’ season is over, but from a scheme and ball-carrying...
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen Lead the FanDuel and DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football Cash Game Picks Week 16- Saturday Main Slate

Quarterbacks Josh Allen FD 9500 DK 8500 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 26.83 DK - 26.83 Any concern about Josh Allen’s fantasy upside over the last few games was erased in Week 15 when the dude went nuclear once again. Playing the Dolphins on Saturday night, Allen threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns while also adding another 77 yards on the ground. It was a clutch performance in the win against the Dolphins. This week he gets the Bears who rank 31st in defensive DVOA on the season and are equally bad against both the run and the pass. Buffalo has clinched a playoff spot, but they are still in the hunt for a first-round bye so it’s likely they will keep the foot on the gas for the rest of the regular season. Patrick Mahomes FD 9200 DK 8400 Opponent SEAProj Points FD - 26.23 DK - 26.23 As we suggested last week, it’s going to pay to spend up at quarterback on this main slate of games. With Jalen Hurts on the shelf, that leaves us with Allen and Patrick Mahomes to decide between. Mahomes trails Hurts by just a couple of decimal points in DraftKings scoring this season and has thrown for 320+ yards in eight of the last nine games. Seattle is a bottom-third defense on the season and the 48.5 total is the highest over/under on the slate. I suspect Mahomes, coming a bit cheaper than Allen, will have a lot of ownership here and it’s for good reason. Running Backs Christian McCaffrey FD 9400 DK 8800 Opponent WASProj Points FD - 25.14 DK - 28.58 At this point in the season, it’s going to make the most sense to target the superstar situations which are most clear in terms of opportunity. That’s for sure the case for Christian McCaffrey who, without Deebo Samuel, is the workhorse in every sense of the word for San Francisco. He’s coming off a week playing 89% of the snaps and touching the ball a whopping 34 times (26 carries, 8 targets) while racking up 138 total yards and a touchdown. Few other running backs are going to see anywhere close to this usage on a week-to-week basis. The 49ers are playing for seeding here and with...

Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes FD 9100 DK 8100 Opponent HOUProj Points FD - 27.82 DK - 27.82 The Chiefs are huge favorites here against the Texans, and for good reason. Though Houston put up a valiant effort against the Cowboys last week, this is still one of the worst teams in the league. And KC should be able to step on the gas early and often. They have, as a team, run the ball a bit more of late with Pacheco which is a concern with Mahomes ceiling if the game starts getting out of hand, but he’s a tough fade in this matchup considering he has 400+ more passing yards than the next-closest guy and his 33 touchdowns are six more than the next-closest. Jalen Hurts FD 9000 DK 8200 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 26.47 DK - 26.47 If you’re not going to play the runner up in the MVP odds right now, you might as well play the favorite. That’s kind of where we are with the quarterback situation on this slate, and in some ways, Hurts is in an even better spot than Mahomes. He’s playing the Bears who have the leagues worst defensive DVOA on the season, coming in terrible against both the run and the pass. This is a smash spot for Hurts whose 10 rushing touchdowns ranks first among quarterbacks. Plus he has a 22:3 TD: INT rate on the season, making him just about as efficient as it gets for a quarterback. It’s a close call between these two QBs but I do think you should play one of them in cash. Running Backs Miles Sanders FD 7800 DK 6500 Opponent CHIProj Points FD - 16.52 DK - 17.63 There’s definitely a world where we are just stacking a couple of the best teams in cash and calling it a day. Miles Sanders helps some with that if you want to lean on the Eagles’ running attack to get you all the way home. Somewhat quietly, Sanders is fifth in the league in rushing yards on the season and his 11 rushing touchdowns are tied for third in the league. The price on both sites is right in range of acceptable and like we said with Hurts, the matchup against the Bears is about...
