Quarterback Drew Brees FD 9000 DK 6700 Opponent ATL Proj Points FD - 21.77 DK - 21.45 Matt Ryan FD 8600 DK 6100 Opponent NO Proj Points FD - 20.72 DK - 21.31 The Drew Brees or Matt Ryan question will be a fundamental one for this Thanksgiving Day slate, and our lineup optimizer sees it as being a really close decision. Brees is averaging .5 more FanDuel points per game this season, but he's also $400 more on FanDuel and $600 more on DraftKings. Ryan's been throwing the ball more, but Brees has been putting up better fantasy totals. Both teams represent great match-ups for opposing quarterbacks, but New Orleans has allowed .5 more yards per attempt in the air this season. Brees has a much better running game behind him, which can vulture his touchdowns (even if it hasn't recently). When it all comes out in the wash, our system slightly prefers Ryan, but mostly because saving the extra $400 really matters on such a short slate with so few options. Mitch Trubisky FD 7900 DK 5500 Opponent DET Proj Points FD - 20.43 DK - 20.56 And hey, if you can't spend all the way up at quarterback, Trubisky isn't such a bad consolation prize. He's got a banged up right shoulder right now, but assuming he's given a full bill of health, he makes for an excellent play here. If you throw out that bizarre Buffalo game, Trubisky has topped 17 fantasy points in 6 of his last 7 games, including 3 games where he topped an astounding 33 fantasy points. During their four game winning streak he's completed almost 65% of his passes. In his last six...

DFS NFL Podcast Week 11 Recap and Week 12 Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings DFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis take to the podcast to break down an excellent Week 11 in the NFL and look ahead to Week 12 which has a 3-game Thanksgiving slate plus a full main slate of games. The guys recap some of the Chiefs-Rams historic game from Monday night and mostly pay homage to these two prolific offenses. Then they look at Lamar Jackson’s game for the Ravens in his first start and whether the rushing yards are sustainable. At running back, it was a lot of the usual suspects though they do look at whether James Conner’s game was an outlier. And finally while looking at some WR games, they make fun of the name of the FanDuel contests for Thanksgiving. Subscribe to this podcast on...
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 11 – 11/18/18
Daily Fantasy Football Top Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings Week 11 - 11/18/18 Welcome back football fans. The Week 11 main slate is a bit tricky on the surface as there are six teams on a bye but the real issue is that six other very fantasy viable teams are playing in Primetime. This is where the Player Lab really comes in handy to break down and find the best matchups. Let's dig in and take a look at a couple of the top stacking options that stand out when using the DFSR tools. Want to see the rest of this article? Looking at games with high vegas totals that include quarterbacks with projected for 40+ attempts on teams that rely heavily on passing for total yards and touchdown, the Player Lab spit out five quarterbacks. Of those five players, three are averaging over 300 yards passing per game and below I will highlight two of them. Let's get started. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback - Carson Wentz Primary Target - Zach Ertz Secondary Target - Golden Tate Carson Wentz missed the first two games of the season recovering from injury and while he let us down in Week 3, he has been extremely consistent since. In those six games, he has thrown for 300+ yards four times with multiple touchdowns in each game and averaged 24.6 DraftKings/ 21.9 FanDuel points per game. I list Zach Ertz as my primary target here for a couple reasons starting with his elite floor and upside. He is fourth among all pass catchers in the league with an average of 11.1 targets per game and has an elite 75% catch rate and is 11th overall with 789 receiving yards. What I like even more is that roster construction seems to favor paying up for multiple elite running backs making it tough to fit Ertz in your lineup forcing people to punt at the tight end position. Not that Ertz will be super low owned as he is in a class of his own but stacking him with Wentz and then getting an elite running back could help separate a bit in GPP formats. After Ertz, I like pairing Wentz with newcomer, Golden Tate. He had a rough first game with his new team catching just two of four targets and could...
DFS NFL Podcast! Week 11 Game-by-game Breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/16
DFS NFL Podcast! Week 11 Game-by-game Breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings 11/16 DFSR rolls out the B Team of James Davis and Chris Durrell to do a comprehensive game by game breakdown of week 11 in the NFL. With 6 teams on a bye and precious little opportunity being opened up by injury, do we have enough value to go on? The guys break down which high dollar running backs they are targeting, where they want to save up at wide receiver, and just what to do at a tight end position that seemingly never looks good. Can we run Zeke and DJ like it's 2016? Can we actually pay up at tight end for cash games? And should we get involved in the Russian Roulette of trying to figure out where the targets are headed in Carolina and New Orleans? James and Chris have your answers! Subscribe to this podcast on...
DFS NFL Podcast Week 11 Cash Game Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings – 11/15/18
DFS NFL Podcast Week 11 Cash Game Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings - 11/15/18 DFSR’s Doug Norrie and Chris Durell are on the podcast discussing Week 11 NFL cash game plays for FanDuel and DraftKings. At quarterback, they look at whether a very cheap Lamar Jackson is ready to take over the full reins for the Ravens and if you can roster the rookie in cash in his first start. They also look at another week of Ryan Fitzpatrick. It’s going to make sense spending up at running back with a bunch of viable big-money options like James Conner, Ezekiel Elliott and Saquon Barkley in good spots. And finally, there are value wide receivers out there to help mitigate some of the cost of running backs. Subscribe to this podcast on...
